Not a heavy investment at all. Backers can be had all over. Great playmakers are important, especially with EJ at qb. We're not going to the playoffs without a good running game and our qb situation. It's worth trying if u think u can do it this way.

And Tom Brady has nothing to do with anything... The Seahawks were in the super bowl too by the way, the team with the most rushing yards in the league. Who don't have a hall of famer at qb (he's good but I think u get my point)

Tannehill looks competent most of the time... Orton sample size is too small. The jets are a mess

He's our best blocking receiver... For a running football team that earns him a starting spot

He did have a great game against Miami....

Spiller needs some new plays... He literally ran a draw out of shotgun on every single carry. Nothing from under center that I can remember

Audibles would go a long way... I feel like we waste time outs when we should be checking out of a play. Also scrap the all shotgun, I feel like we can't run outside. Everything's just a draw or a trap up the middle. Doesn't have to be this college gimmick crap. Play action out of those formations is much more effective, and gets him moving where he seems to make more plays.

He needs to just play. Stop thinking and play. Geno, cousins, bortles and bridge water all came out with swagger and confidence ( with mixed results). Ej is scared of screwing up, and it seems like he's thinking about his motion on every throw. Let it rip guy!

Outside of the pick, which everyone will agree was pretty awful. I thought EJ played well, didn't stare down his guys, made some plays.the woods and M Williams throws were great and at huge moments. Chandlers drop and personal foul were pretty annoying

Everyone's written off ej based on this preseason. Yes it has been bad, but it's a scrimmage with pads who cares? He hasn't been terribly inaccurate (as thad and tuel were). His jobs secure because he is our best qb. We grabbed orton for a smart guy to be in meetings and carry a clip board. And because we HOPE if ej goes down he is a better option than than the crap we put out before today.

On the plus side... 32 was a first round pick and tuel was undrafted...

I have a friend who used to work for the bills, he is not a big Russ Brandon fan. Of all the stories, the one that bothered me most is when he was in a box with Russ, and Russ kept talking about how he thought Kerry Collins was fantastic. And That's who he would want to sign etc. just, ugh I hate Kerry Collins, and I hate Russ Brandon after hearing that story. 0 football knowledge and he was our gm for a time.... Ugh I say can him, but that's just me.

I just think its tough to draft a player at one of our strongest positions. I think we need a better backup qb, defensive end, LB depth, and O-line before we need to worry about spiller/jacksons replacement.

Why draft a running back in the 2nd? We have holes right now, and 3rd string running back seems like it could be filled by anyone (didn't we just sign a 3rd string running back?). If we don't keep spiller, draft someone next year when there is actually a spot there.

We still had 3 timeouts and a minute left, so I thought the same thing. We can always try the onside kick if it fails.

Cap space is not an issue on this one, we are always cash to cap anyway. They just agreed with everyone that he sucked, and he wasn't going to contribute. So why give him 2 million dollars?

I feel like he had a bunch of awesome plays called back on holding too. Hopefully they can clean the o-line up some so he can really be unleashed.
