  1. Practices are a lot more limited now which may have something to do with it. College is also limiting practice time so punters already have experience holding when they make it to the NFL.
  2. I love that he continued to play with a sprained AC joint in his shoulder. Oh and they cut their best weapon on offense (that they had no idea how to use). What a dumpster fire of a team. Ravens game was a lot like this game. Turnovers (they had a few turnovers on downs as well) that lead to shorter fields. Tenn had 1 long drive against them that was pretty much the game.
  3. Special teams has basically their own practice during practice. The long snapper goes off with kicker and punter to do drills. To have Barkley do this would impact his ability to function effectively as the #2 QB.
  4. The line is that guys legs - he's the line judge. he was past the center point of that guy - so he should have been over the LOS. My big issue was Lewan (if he's the left tackle). It felt like he would sit back on every passing play right before the snap - his feet would set back a bit and his hips would rock a bit back. Like every time.
  5. Thats man coverage though. Damned if you do damned if you don't. If i chase tanehill he can just lob it to the guy i just stopped covering. The key is to not let him break contain like that.
  6. Drive 1 - Norman got beat after the INT. Drive 2 - 3rd and 20 and Johnson somehow loses kalif raymond for the conversion. They attack him again with brown. Then they score. Drive 3 - They dinked and dunked - but that DPI call was kinda bad on 3rd and 4. Other than that they pretty much attacked norman and johnson on the boundaries again. Drive 4 - started at the 12 and they got a roughing the passer call so... thats a TD. I guess i just dont get the edmunds hate. Seems like we should give more to norman and johnson. They stunk yesterday.
  7. At least he's punting well. The long return had nothing to do with his punt either, that thing was sky high and our guys couldn't get there.
  8. I suppose that's fair. He has made plays in his college career. I don't think anyone would've made plays yesterday tho
  9. Qhats he have like 15 career carries?
  10. U can't turn it over against tennessee.. ravens playoff game showed that. This is a good team, a lot to learn, a lot to clean up
  11. He didn't even run a notably good route. Johnson tangled himself up on nothing
  12. Jesus roberts... 2 massive mistakes. Rhe first one set the tone, the 2nd one was just salt in the wound
  13. I don't care there. A first down is game too. Sell out and just guess- u have to stop him in the backfield.
  14. 3 short fields. But 2 long drives with tons of mistakes. I think they'll play better next week if only because they should be really passed off
  15. Thats like the fifth time their LT has moved his feet pre snap.
  16. Has he been noticeably bad? Seems like no pressure, Norman getting roasted, and Taron Johnson being terrible on 3rd downs.
  17. Remember they missed 4 FGs against buffalo last year...
  18. Not gonna read all the threads... but... Johnson has been terrible. 3rd and 20? Thats 4 points on the board, maybe 7 if u can make a play. Defense can't sit here 3 and 4 deep and not expect them to find soft spots. Not getting pressure. Run game is terrible.
  19. I think they draft someone like Fields and ryan has a final year. I don't think you get much of anything trading ryan - Julio or maybe Jarrett can get you a return.
  20. He'll make great plays when he doesn't set his feet. But i watched that entire game. He spiked quite a few and missed some easy swing passes for the same reasons. The INT was on 4th down so you may as well force something than take a sack. The Raiders seemed to spy him too. Keeps his eyes down field but it seemed to make him uncomfortable. He made some great throws while scrambling, but he completed like 50% of passes. He missed some easy ones too. He also tries to initiate contact as he goes out of bounds to get calls. So if you're going to get the call anyway, may as well let him have it.
  21. The blocker did kind of get kicked into the hole up the middle, but the LB leverage was going to the right IIRC. The RB can probably break it? The screenshot on twitter is very misleading as to what actually happened. As for making trades - no. You roll with what you have for depth.
  22. I don't hate it. You get the first down and its game over, you can literally kneel it out. I don't think i run into a like... 11 man box though. I know they'd been successful running it but it was a long 1, and seattle had a lot of guys there. I might have also called a TO before/let the 2 minute warning run/tried a hard count.
  23. Who knows. Doesn't sound like Bills players even know. Seems like this is the test to see if they can just play through some of the covid outbreak. No other way to say it, buffalo is getting screwed.
  24. Bringing in Conklin to play next to him definitely helped. But he's definitely noticeably better in year 3. Him trotter Conklin is a great right side. Wills is playing well for them on the left too. They look like a much better team with the improved line.
