  1. Dunno, the word is that they are considering it, but you're right, much better value there, but again, this is fun right. Tim-
  2. Ok, fair enough, I do see Jackson as a TT clone to be, not right now, but to be. I also think the Browns could go OT here, and wait on Jackson? Guice will go in the 1st round, IMO, Ridley? You might be right.. Who really knows, that's why this is fun.. Tim-
  3. such as? Go on give it to me straight, I can take it.. Tim- They have their QB.. Tim-
  4. Ok, well 3 more sleeps to go, and I've given this a lot of thought, and this is how I think it goes down Thursday. 1. Browns: Barkley (I've said all along that the Browns are going to roll with TT, and select a QB but not until the 2nd or top of the 1st. 2. Giants: Darnold (NY gets the only guy they covet) 3. Jets: Mayfield (Jets get one of their 3 guys. ) 4. Bills: Rosen (I don't like it, but Beane's hand is forced here, I think he'd much rather have him at 12 but can't risk it) Bills give up 12, 22, 65 or no deal. 5. Denver: Chubb (No brainer) 6. Arizona: Allen (Don't be surprised if the Steelers blow everyone away and move up ahead of the Cards) - This could also be the Dolphins. 7. Tampa: Guice (Tampa needs a RB, and Guice is the 2nd best RB available) 8. Bears: Ridley (They need a WR and he's the best available to help Trubisky) 9. 49'ers: Edmunds (Foster is done) 10. Raiders: Fitzpatrick (Excellent value here) 11. Dolphins: Rudolph (Could go in another direction but judging by the RT situation I think Gase is about ready to move on from him) 12. Browns: Jackson (TT clone would be learning same system with same skill-set, seems like a good fit) 13. Redskins: Ward (Skins now have two shutdown corners) 14. Green Bay: Smith (Arguably the best LB in the draft) 15. Colts: Nelson (Wow Colts fans are jumping in their seats what a good get by the Colts) 16. Ravens: McGlinchey (Best Tackle in the draft) 17. Chargers: Vea (Although I'd probably pick Payne here) 18. Seahawks: James (Very good value my God anyone thought this would happen?) 19. Dallas: Hurst (Could also be the best WR on their board, but it will be someone that catches the ball, IMO) 20. Detroit: Brown (Gotta keep Stafford upright once and for all) 21. Bengals: Wynn (They got their LT now they get their interior lineman, Wynn can play anywhere in the interior) 22. Browns: Kirk (Browns are winning the offseason) 23. Patriots: Gesicki (Ha, BB will show them.. LOL ) Could be a QB here, but my guess is that this will come in the next round or possibly pick 31) 24. Panthers: Payne (Need to replace Star) 25. Browns: Davenport (Trade back into the 1st to select their edge rusher - Personally too high here IMO but the Browns have a boatload of picks to play with and their not done) 26. Atlanta: Jackson (Need CB - check!) 27. Saints: Goedert (Brees has one maybe two years left) - They could also surprise and select a QB here? 29. Steelers: Evans (Good value here can't pass this up, but they may also move up earlier to surprise and select BR replacement) 30. Vikings: Williams (Cousins needs to stay upright but the Vikings reach here for a Tackle) 31. Patriots: Lauletta (MVP of the Senior Bowl, Brady and Gronk put on notice. LOL ) 32. Eagles: Hughes (Can never have too many corners) Ok, well pick it apart my brothers and sisters! Tim-
  5. Not being rude, this is an opinion forum, however, for what you said to be true, logic dictates that the Jets would be in love with 3 QB's equally, - or- like I said, at least two, gambling that the Giants were puffing.. Tim-
  6. No, it means that the Jets love at least two, possibly 3 QB's equally.. 2 if they are gambling that the Giants are not selecting one.. I can see valuing 2 QB's but NOT 3 equally.. Tim-
  7. There are no "top 2 or 3" QB's in this draft. The order in which a QB is selected pays no bearing on his eventual outcome, so, although, someone may get the top projected guys, they may not get THE guy.. or GUYS.. Could turn out that the best QB when the dust settles is taken by someone in the 3rd, or 4th round, we never know. Tim-
  8. I must admit, even I have been coming here everyday just checking in; more so than in any other Bills epoch... welllll, ok during the whole Mario signing I was here 24/7.. LOL As to bleedinggreen, I think both the Jets and Bills covet the same plan A and plan B QB's.. Of course Jets will get their plan A/B first, and Beane will get his plan B QB and make it out to look like this was the guy all along.. LOL I dunno, if the guy they really want is not to be had because of price, then I'm ok with a later signing, maybe Rudolph, or even later rounds and let AJ, NP and the rook compete. Who knows we could strike gold (Wishful Russell Wilson type gold), but I am certainmly NOT in the camp that says trade all of our capital for a guy that NO ONE knows will be that guy for the next 10 - 15 years.. We JUST DO NOT KNOW, and this team needs more than just a QB.. Tim-
  9. Umm, yeah, that is exactly what it's supposed to be.. Not funny? My kids loved Beanie Babies growing up, I thought it was appropo.. Tim-
  10. This^^^^ I'm almost sure this is how it's going to go down. Jackson will most certainly be there at 12 and might even be there at 22. We give the Browns 12, 22, and the Browns 65th pick back to move up from 12 to 4, BUT that assuming that our guy is still there at 4. If not, then I think Beaniebaby stays put, and takes a project at 22, or the second round somewhere. I mean, look, all this talk about going up to get your guy is only possible if, one, your guy is there, and two, if the team you want to trade into is willing to trade out, and three, if the price isn't too high.. I know a lot of fans will be pissed if we don't get one of Rosen, Mayfield, Darnold, and God forbid Allen in the first, BUT the reality is Beaniebaby might not have any choice in the matter. Tim-
  11. I'm telling you, well not telling, but suggesting that the Browns will NOT take a QB at one, nor will they at 4 if Barkley is still on the board, or if they do a trade with the Bills or some other team. I truly believe that Tyrod is Hue's guy (both black) and Hue is a bleeding heart, and loyal to a fault. If they get a QB it will be a 1 , 2 year project, someone like Allen, Rudolph, etc.. Hell it may even be Jackson, but I think they shock the world on the 26th at around 8:15 and select Chubb.. I know everyone is laughing at me, but Hue Jackson, if he has ANY say, will convince Dorsey that he can work with a project, let's collect picks and quality starters.. To a GM, that is also appealing as Dorsey knows Tyod is NOT going 0 - 16 next year, won't happen, in fact, they might even win their damn division with all that talent! Tim-
  12. I dunno what metrics anyone might use to "grade" a 1st, or even 2nd round pick, but for me, it's simple. 1st round picks should be sure fire day one starters, 2nd round picks should be "we're pretty sure this guy can start day one", and 3rd round should be "geeze we need a LB and we think this kid can compete for a job".. All the rest of the rounds are "cross your fingers and hope you get someone like Kyle Williams" Tim-
  13. I agree! BUT, if the Bills QB falls unexpectedly, then grab him at 12, or even 22.. But yeah, we have too many holes to fill. Tim-
  14. To me, this whole Josh Allen hype/speculation is all nonsense. NFL teams know (Or have very good data on this guy) what they have in him. I see it like this: He's the second QB in after the starter goes two one or two series in NFL preseason. Sure, the number 2 guy is going against number 2 defenses, but the data pulled from this determines who starts and who sits when it's go time. His career in college was NOT GREAT, lets be honest. Lesser caliber competition, perhaps lesser weapons, sure, but to me a franchise QB elevates everyone on the team. I don't or didn't see that with him, and still don't. He is a better bet to be a bust than he is to be a quality starter in the NFL. I could be wrong, but I doubt it. Tim-
  15. I think the pundits are in for a rude awakening come draft day when they see their sweethearts, Allen and Jackson fall out of the first round.. No frickin way these two should be drafted in the first, let alone the second. I think you'll see one of the 2nd "tier" QB's selected before these guys, Rudolph, White? Good luck with your project if you draft these two.. Way to throw away a pick. LOL Tim-
  16. I don't doubt that Rosen might be plan B. It is possible that he drops out of the top 10, as the press on him has been pretty negative, IMO; especially for a guy that has all the tools, and is largely considered the best pro ready day one starter out of all the top QB's this year. It makes you wonder how much the press, the rumors and all the smoke affects NFL GM's? I would hope they ignore it, and trust what they see and hear for themselves, but who knows? I think its entirely possible that Allen drops as well. He's gotten the MOST positive press, IMO, and for the life of me I just don't see it on tape? I get his measurables, and the hype, but I am hoping that there is NO WAY professional scouting and NFL GM's s ignore tape.. And if I am correct, Allen shouldn't even be drafted in the 1st round, IMO, nor should Jackson. Both have serious questions marks on accuracy and NFL IQ. If we are just watching tape, factoring in competition, and talent surrounding them, there are only 3 QB that should go in the first round. Rosen (On record as already saying that I hope the Bills do not draft him, but I think there actually might be something to the talk surrounding his effort, heart, his interviews don't change my mind on that), on tape alone, then Mayfield, and Darnold. Factor in, the "other" none QB talent available, and the top ten on this draft will likely end up going a whole lot different than most of the experts are predicting. We might see 3 QB's taken in the top ten, 4, I doubt, and 5 most certainly not. The talent level for none QB's far outweighs the "what-if this is the guy", factor, and teams will choose to draft talent and production over speculation. Tim-
  17. I agree that White is pretty good overall, and I trust him, for the most part, however, this year of all years I see the loose lips sink ships even more applicable. Too much on the line, IMO. Scouts, even coaches may be asked for specifics about certain prospects, and they may even bang the table for "their" guy, but on draft day, there's 4 people that know exactly what they will do if A, B or C happens.. Tim-
  18. There's exactly 4 people ate OBD drive that KNOW what plan A, B, and C is, and that's Both Pegulas, Beane, and McD.. I doubt even the scouts, or any other coaches know at this point. There's too much on the line, and the Bills brass know it. ANY report coming out from unnamed sources is pure garbage! Tim-
  19. I'd only package a 1st next year if we can keep our 12 this year. Tim-
  20. you mean the oline we really don't know anything about yet?
  21. so we give up 12, 22 to get to 6 overall? I like the idea and the price is not too steep, however, instead of Rosen I'm hoping Mayfield is the target. Tim-
  22. what the hell is everyone seeing that I'm not? I'm serious? I just don't see it with this guy. Man, his pro day is being hyped in the media but what I saw was bad placement, overthrows underthrows, all with his buddies in shorts, IN A COVERED setting.. Jesus, I hope someone does take him early, that'll only help the Bills. Tim-
