  1. 2 things I hadnt noticed before: 1 eight minutes in, I never noticed Gaileys mean face when Fitz made a delay of game penalty. 2 the Wilson interception for beautiful, the line of scrimmage was right inline with Moormans Miracles. This was my Superbowl for the Bills. Best game in a while. Donalds Jones had a good game there. Its always fun to see Belicheat flip out over his timeouts. I wouldnt want to build on this. We were down 21-3 at one point. But alot of character on the Bills squad, well deserved win. Ill always remember it. After the Flourance pick-six you hear Gannon say, WOW THIS PLACE IS GOIN NUTS RIGHT NOW!! Youre goddamn right! The Patriots lost in very humiliating fashion. Like little babies! PS The last kneeldown would have been a roughing the passer penalty if Brady was in there.
  2. Id like to believe that his attitude wont be a factor because he is walking into a locker room where alot of these guys have bonds from 3 or 4 years now. You always hear the Bills say how close these guys are.
  3. dude all i can take from this thread is the memory of your avatar. good one.
  4. i watched it on Buffalobills.com I love how Fred carries himself. Pay the man. Gonna miss him when hes gone.
  5. Thank you for explaining this better than I could. Kelsey isnt a game changer, he isnt that emotional or loud, I understand. But he is solid, he has been here 10 years. Im glad that Kelsey kept his jersey. He has paid his dues. Mario Williams will get 90 when they cut Kelsey in 2 years. Number 78 is a great idea, but wont that pressure him because of the significance in Buffalo for 78?
  6. I was thinking the same thing lastnight. Didnt they trade picks with the Broncos? Why help NE get better in your own conference? I hate to say it but NE and Cleveland had the best draft thus far. Maybe Tom Brady will get shingles before week 1. Just saw a commercial about that, it looks rough.
  7. Colt McCoy, Jimmy Clausen, and Blaine Gerbur are busts. They should go bowling together, then drive off a cliff.
  8. Did you see Palamalu's film out of college? Fantastic, just like he is today. Flying up and down the field, always around the ball. No way Id compare the two. It does fill a need I agree, but he wasnt worth a 10th.
  9. +1 I was going to post this when I signed in here but this sums it up. Hoping for offense, Floyd at WR was there, and Reiff. I have a feeling Floyd is going to be nasty. (good) Never heard anything about Gilmore. He didnt crack the slightest smile when it was announced. Maybe he was as surprised as I was. His highlight tape didnt look special. Surprised with who was left that we didnt trade down at the least. I feel we made a mistake passing on Floyd. I just have that feeling.
  10. ohhh thats why hes atrocious. Thats funny. nice pic.
  11. They coddle Tom Brady when he gets dirty. They coddle the Pats with questionable calls (or non calls) from refs. What else is new. Cant wait till Brady retires so this favoritism from the league and media halts. Soon after Belicheat will retire because they will be irrelevant again..
  12. Well this just proves that we aren't in the national spotlight. This wouldn't happen with a "winning" team. Wish I could half ass my work and get paid.
  13. "Now for the bad. In my 20-plus years in the NFL, I don't think I have seen a high first-round pick look as scared or as out of place as Blaine Gabbert. The game looks entirely too big for him. When the ball is in his hand, he treats it like a hot potato. His play was embarrassing, considering he was a top 10 pick. I believed Gabbert was a good prospect and wrote about it leading up to the draft. When everyone was concerned about his down-field throws, I thought he would be able to adjust. But never did I think his eye level would be this low, his unwillingness to hang in the pocket this bad. I readily admit my mistake. Now the Jags need to do the same. The longer they play him, they run the risk of losing the team. How can they expect the players around him to buy in? Gabbert cannot fool his teammates. If he continues to play like this, no one will want to play with him. Now, I understand it is really early in Gabbert's career, and the Jags have a pedestrian offense and no receivers around him. But his play borders on that of an undrafted free agent. Organizations that are the most successful are the ones that ignore draft status and evaluate the players on how they play. I realize the Jags have a significant investment in Gabbert, but they have a bigger one in winning games. Jags GM Gene Smith has a huge problem. He has to lure a coach into Jacksonville and convince that potential coach that what he is seeing on tape is not the player who Gabbert really can become. Who would want the job saddled with a first-round bust? Smith can find anyone to agree to becoming an NFL head coach, but the good candidates will walk away, or won't even interview."from NFL.com
  14. +1 Good player but stop your b*tching. Hes not that important to even mention a bounty on his own head. What a victim ........
  15. I was a former employee for TWC. They, like any other TV provider, have tried in the past to get the NFL network. I will tell you that TWC isnt willing to pay the money to carry this network. A couple years ago they sent emails to the employees, and showed commercials saying that the NFL is stubborn, etc. Many bars in my area have Direct TV and Time Warner because they need the NFL Network. Time Warner already charges 3 times the amount a month for a commercial account compared to a residential account. Imagine the money they would make from all the bars alone? While recording $20 billion profits a year, they add more fees to their services it seems every 6 months and have lost channels due to contract disputes. You have a choice but its hard to leave TWC because they WILL low ball anyone, but, only if you call. Ive seen customers paying $200/month religiously for their all-in-one packages for years. While, someone who gets their service cut off due to non-pay, and get it turned on again in another name get the same services for $100/month. I complained about $55/month internet service when I called, they dropped it down to $29.99/month for one year. TWC is the Wal-Mart of the cable providers. If you're looking for the NFL package, Dish or Direct TV are your only options.
  16. Gotta love America! Once one person sues over hot coffee at McDonalds, everyone piles on. I have no sympathy for these men. Guess what? I work with my hands for a living, arthritis and carpal tunnel are very common. Can I sue my employer for not protecting me from these ailments? I believe these men knew what they were risking, even death, while they played football. Go ahead lawyers make these grown adult men who have had every advantage in the world, and paint them like suffering babys. With more and more coming out of the wood work it makes the NFL look worse. Another ply to make money, as if that will make everything better.
  17. +1 What the hell does this guy know? People write anything to get their worthless opinions out there. How much does this worthless writer get paid?
  18. If you are a defensive player you want to hear that type of attitude from your couch. You want your fellow players to be fired up by this also. I like the attitude Gregg Williams has, but you shouldnt wish injury on a man. Or say things like, "Lets find out about #10s concussion!" Pointing to specific parts of players bodies or injuries is bad taste.
  19. Merriman tweeted that he heard the new jerseys change colors when he are held. LOL hes right. Seems these jerseys are the talk of the league. I dont see anything special other than the neck-line and the sleeves.
  20. Good Luck to Roscoe. Ive noticed that the Chargers like little guys. Fast and quick.
  21. Well said. You forgot he likes pointing to refs for flags WAY too often. Never before have I seen anything so consistent. Rattle Brady hes never the same. Our pass rush will be a concern for any team, at least I hope. Screens and quick throws, HB tosses are good ways to beat the blitz. Maybe the back field signings are a clue on how to counter defenses like the Giants, 49ers, etc.
