If you don't like the red helmets, you may not like the Bills at all. -You might have also developed a weird codependency and addiction to losing... Either way, I'd OPENLY question your fanhood. Here's why: With the white hats the bills managed jus six playoff appearances between 1960-1981.. Just two AFL Championships in '64, '65.. At the height of red-hat times (1986-2000) They made TEN playoff appearances, FOUR AFC Championships, and FIVE consecutive AFC Championship game appearances. -That there is a WHOLE LOTTA production. Howard isn't the safest pick in the draft... He iprobably sn't the best pick either.... OJ howard is the most useful weapon/tool a team can have.... An offensive windfall for any coaching staff that knows what it's doing....If healthy, he can start work immediately.... Your average QB is now in a position to look above average... Your unintimidating offense now has something other teams should worry about... OJ Howard is the beginning of what could be a foundation of size, strength, and speed on offense... Let's not make this hard... OJ HOWARD AT 10 TO THE BUFFALO BILLS!!!!!!

Engram IS NOT a true TE,, More of a big, rangy, Alshon Jeffery type WR... My 2nd favorite TE in the draft is UB's Mason Schreck... Kid's a real go-getter... WAY more upside than O'leary... Here's hoping he ends up on our roster.

I totally get your sentiment.... I also get the sentiment of others who don't see a TE @10 as a winning proposal... Still when I put myself opposite his hulking frame on the LOS, all my doubts disappear... Howard is a muscle-bound physical freak... If he gains some technique at his position, it'll be scary...He'll need some coaching, of course, and he'll need to learn how to prepare like a pro, but if things go as they should, we'll have a weapon in Howard... Pats don't have enough haters in that secondary to deal with Clay, Howard AND Sammy... If we can put together anything resembling a pro at QB, NE is in trouble...

Ohhhhh, yes there is..... Good'n'hurt won't be needing that 88 Jersey anymore... At least we can get it to someone who wore it with distinction in college.... Howard is a hammer, that can be used a variety of ways.... At 6"6" 255, he'll be open even when covered... That's the kind of help that allows you to beat people right away...
