  1. Again... Cole Beasley..... 5'8" 179 WR SMU 255 catches.... 2,959 yards...... 14TD's... It's right on par with other prolific "small" wide receivers.... What the hell, dude??? -Did Switzer dump your daughter at the prom?
  2. Does Orchard Park change it's name to Switzer-land? -Could just happen....
  3. I get why people think this, but I feel it's part of the thinking that holds this team back... We SHOULD focus almost exclusively on NE for 2 reasons: 1: They've owned our division for almost 20 years. 2: The Pats beat just about EVERYONE last season... including a team that had a 25 point lead on them in the superbowl.... If we can manage a way to OWN THEM, then owning US would be that much harder for everyone else. Just my way of thinking....
  4. TT has thrown to both and the Pats still swept us.... A young QB isn't a bad starting point... However, calling it an answer to the Pats perennial domination seems misguided. I would say McCoy is a significant weapon in our offense... Beyond him, we have little to threaten a juggernaut like NE with. OJ Howard's presence changes that dynamic INSTANTLY... Deep threat... Over the middle threat... Rushing threat... Red zone threat... Hearty blocker... No other player on the board gives you that type of versatility at 10...
  5. That's exactly what I mean... Evan Engram is far from a prototypical TE... In fact he's plays more like a big WR than anything else Like Julio Jones he's a weapon... Very hard for a defense like the cheaters to stop.
  6. I don't see a rookie QB as being able to trade points with Brady UNLESS they have the weapons to do so... Matt Patricia will break his spirit before the kid even has a chance.... It's a big reason I roll with Cardale, and then give him the TOOLS to pick Butler, Ryan, McCourty, and Chung apart... He may need help up front to keep Hightower, Branch, and flowers off him, but a rookie under center is just asking for trouble.
  7. How is it Lazy? Wes Welker........ 5'9" 186, Texas Tech: 259 receptions... 3019 yards... 21TD's..... Ryan Switzer.......5'9" 176, University of North Carolina: 249 receptions.... 2907 yards..... 19 TD's Both were prolific ST contributors in college too.
  8. I think at #10 Alabama's 6'6" TE OJ Howard presents a physical challenge for Malcolm Butler, and Logan Ryan when spread out wide... His explosive speed, and ability to get open will draw a lot of attention from McCourty, and Chung, freeing up opportunities for other receivers. Trading down in the first, and a taking Ole Miss TE/WR Evan Engram, would work too. At 6'3" Engram may not be a HUGE target, but he catches the ball away from his body better than ANY WR/TE in this draft!... This will be a problem for a Pats 2ndary that could not handle anything Julio Jones had to offer. The Pats also don't have a LB that can break off and cover Engram. -He's too fast, and adept a route- runner... IMO, stopping Tom Brady is a pipe dream... Moving the chains, and trading points with the Pats is critical to beating them. That's what I've got... Your turn.
  9. I was in a local mall not too long ago, and saw this teenage boy yanking a girls arm in a direction she clearly did not want to go.... It coulda been his girlfriend.. But she was crying, so I acted. I said something firm and generic like 'LET GO NOW'. -He did, and she walked away... I asked if he wanted to grab my arm like that... -An offer he declined. I told him I never wanted to see him handling a girl like that again, and let him be.... Twenty minutes later I walked out of Nordstrom Rack and saw them on a bench together. You can't live these kid's lives for them... All you can do is try to show them what's acceptable, and what isn't... Doesn't always work, but I think it's better than nothing.
  10. This is the EXACT type of player we draft AROUND... He'll go either one pick before or one pick after ours.... Just watch.
  11. STUD. -He'll go to waste here, and you know it...
  12. And Spiller sucks... What is this? -2012?
  13. If you school your daughters on the realities of campus life, and LEAVE OUT the part about what young men (especially athletes) are capable of, you just might be ignorant. I think it's bad to assume your kids are "smart" and they'll be "okay".
  14. What! -you got us taking a SAFETY??? Bill......
  15. Leaves one longing for the Schwartz/Orton years... -I mean YEAR.
  16. You forgot to say "all the way" to 7 wins.. . That way it sounds like 13 wins...
  17. If you don't want Cardale, you LOVE 7-9. -Period.
  18. You sure are good at pulling things out of your @ss.. Is there a Porsche up there you don't need anymore?
  19. I've never been opposed to TT doing what he does best... Backing up a legitimate starting QB... If they start him in September, we go nowhere... Again!
  20. There's probably a conversation dad's need to have with their daughters too. Perhaps one about not being naive, and putting yourself in tight situations? "No means no", In my opinion, ignores the reality of a 250lb college football player locked in a dorm room with a 100lb girl fresh out of high school.
  21. A good starting point is teaching young men what to walk away from.... A girl that's too drunk to stand, needs a cab, and call to her closest relative... Period.
  22. Take Howard @ 10 and Start Cardale Jones... 10 wins, easy
  23. https://www.yahoo.com/news/college-quarterback-brother-nfl-star-223309679.html Hope the young woman gets the help she needs. DAD'S PLEASE HAVE THIS CONVERSATION WITH YOUR YOUNG SONS!
  24. I don't understand why you're trying to be nice? If you're a POS, why not show everyone by over-reacting to a general comment on an opinion thread? We'll know sooner or later, anyway.
