  1. Pick one, not both: 1. Jackson is going to get injured if he keeps taking hits. 2. Jackson is scared of being hit so went out of bounds.
  2. I am curious to see what McD and Frazier draw up for next week. Whether it works or not, it will be interesting to see what the plan is.
  3. That is the opposite of what we need. We need PIT to win as CLE has an easy schedule. We play PIT as well as BAL if I recall.
  4. Obviously I will be watching BAL play, but this nonsense has me wanting to watch the CLE/PIT game so bad.
  5. I forget which teams site it was, but their forums shrink a quoted post, which you can expand (if needed). A lot of people here quote an entire OP just to reply. I don't understand that, If there is a particular section relevant to your post, quote that; otherwise you are just being an arse. Had one in here quote the entire OP just to state he wasn't interested. As far as the OP, I don't recall what week it was, but I saw a Lorax quote where it seemed like he might not actually hang it up after 2019. This tight locker room might pull him in another season, assuming we are interested. That being said, I am fully on-board with drafting his replacement stat. For WR, cant hurt to draft one. I wish there was a FA in the moderate range that I liked, seems rather high contract/low contract. I def see us spending 1/2 our $$ on re-signing and that is excellent.
  6. They got the warning as an apology for the tripping calls the week prior. NE benefits from phantom calls and BUF pays for it. That being said, thankfully the hit didn't cause Allen to miss any playing time.
  7. Understood. Just like whiskey and cheesecake, all things are better in moderation...
  8. You just did a mild/loose form of analytics ('geek stuff' <-- this really made me lol) right there. Your term of 'playing to win' vs. 'playing not to lose'. How can you say its a better way to coach a football team without some form of high level analytics? You are making that statement based on your perception that 'playing to win' vs. 'playing not to lose' (by your definitions) results in a greater chance at winning based on the sample size of football you have watched, listened to, etc. #geekstuff
  9. I like what Johnson brought today, but he is tiny; is he even a buck and a half? Not a fan of him going nuts celebrating after every play, just worried about taunting calls. His tackle on the TE that flipped and landed on his head (pretty sure that was Johnson) was nuts given my first comment.
  10. This is a me issue not a you issue, but the lack of consistency with team names/city names, abbreviating only 'Miami', especially right next to Washington is making me itch. EDIT - Wait, did you copy/past the rest of the list after Washington?
  11. Our defense ensures we will be in every game. Our offense ensures our opponents will be in every game as well. All of these players are in the NFL for a reason. Any team can beat any other team at any point. This isn't the 90 Bills blowing teams up 45-7 regularly. That being said, I am optimistic that if Allen maintains discipline as a QB, we will win more than we lose. This is like the opposite of when we had Fitz. Our defense was so bad, he tried to 'hero' every game, leading to all the INTs.
  12. He said the Bills don't make mistakes and highlighted our run D. He added some random platitudes about steak and potatoes. He had no idea what he was talking about. I appreciate people complimenting the Bills, but this interview segment was a joke. MDH - Apparently we had the same train of thought.
  13. I was in Lake Placid the first week of September for a funeral unfortunately. Not too far from Stowe. Good country up there. Been meaning to head east into VT for a day trip while up there. I love the Lake Placid IPA. They might have it given the proximity.
  14. Never questioned that 'it was on him'. I took issue with the 'embarrassing' comment. He positioned himself to make the catch and his cleat/turf gave out, unexpectedly changing his position as the ball arrived. On him? Yes. Embarrassing? That's more # 33 overthinking a TD catch wide open...
  15. He lost his footing. If his cleat hadn't given, that was a first down. Caught him by surprise.
  16. Pettine's 3rd down rush is sick. Logan Thomas sighting.
  17. Yeah, that was an odd performance. They look like they make moonshine in the hills and embrace cultural diversity...lol.
  18. https://deadspin.com/bills-fan-remains-alarmingly-still-after-pregame-stunt-1838828616
  19. I am 157% certain that it does. Everything I have read here over the last several years indicates that this is a two party system...
  20. So, the refs are all corrupt and plotting against us. So for the entirety of the game, Bills players shouldn't have given the ball over after each play. That is likely about ~60 mistakes right there. Tug your tin foil hat a bit a bit more.
  21. Bills still don't have a 300 yard passer. From what I have read, that means we are a bad team.
