Perhaps JJ would have made a difference in how deep the Bills would have made it.

I get the feeling that this happened shortly after the final preseason game. That’s where Jordan Phillips was signed.

Bills Working Out Kickers - Bass Not Healthy?
Cubanmist 1 replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall
The question should be, why the heck is Beane addressing this now!? -
Happy he is back. Was signed onto our PS
-
Add Jordan Poyer to the PS. I think this is a strategic move to 1) Teach Cole, and 2) spill the beans on the Dolphins. Rasul will spill the beans on the Bills to the Dolphins. It’s all strategy. I would sign the best WR that was released before bringing back Hamler.
-
This signing could also be a strategic one in disclosing defensive data on the Dolphins.
-
Is he signing to then retire or teach Cole? He is done as a football player. He was slow and instincts diminished.
-
Out of all of the waived players, due to rosters needing to be at 53 personnel, which players from other teams would you want the Bills to pick up? I think I’ll kick the tires on Jakobi Meyers.
-
Because he has a chip on his shoulder. Nah, he will get picked up. He plays as if his hair is on fire. A, “prove that I belong” mentality. Unfortunately, veterans lose this desire after a few years.

If you are cutting Hamlin, do it now...

Agreed -
I would trade Groot/Oliver, a 1st for parsons and a 3rd/wr.

There goes Beane dumpster diving again. Very annoying!
-
He will take care of 2 needs. WR and RB.
-
Has Hoecht been practicing with team despite being suspended?
-
Sean McDermott said that they will need to get a kicker in on today’s briefing. I think Beane needs to stop f-ing around and draft Josh a freaking good WR. Same for backup QB. It’s cheaper that way.
-
To work out an extension is what I mean.
-
I feel that a surprise player will be cut or traded in order to make room for the resigning /extension of Cook. Honestly, Deon Cain and Wilkerson have been a lot more consistent and available than Moore has.
-
Who was throwing to him though? Not a QB who throws hard I bet.
-
If Beane sees Cook as the ideal fit for the Bills, then extend him. Otherwise, trade him already. This is so annoying! I personally never saw him as the perfect RB with an arsenal of tools (blocking, pushing piles, hitting defenders hard, pass catching). He is limited. In the end, this is all Beanes fault for not grabbing CMC, Saquan, or maybe even Baltimores RB. (Name escapes me). Dare I say, drafting a replacement would have been ideal. And no, Davis is not the solution. He is nifty but not speedy.

Is James Cook a Top-Five All Time Bills Running Back?
Cubanmist 1 replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
No, he is not! He is at best an average RB. He does not have any “wow” factor to him nor does he have good instincts or field vision. He has terrible hands of stone as he drops catchable passes. -
Not sure if Samuel makes this team. I say that he gets waived and then the Bills will trade for one

Me too!

Anyone Want To Take A Vet Minimum Flier On Yannick Ngakoue?
Cubanmist 1 replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
Would love him on the team. Wondering why he is still a FA though.
