After reading the various lines about Roman,does anyone else get a feeling that maybe Pegs asked Rex what he thought of him as an offensive minded guy and Rex noting the interest brought him up a OC.It just seems that the wording in these articles make it seem like maybe It was one of those things he used to sell himself.

college kids rarely impress me.This kid however did impress me.He is the real deal.

The only thing that worries me is the weakness in this years QB class. Nix was responsible in choosing Drew Brees and Phillip Rivers,so he knows QB talent.

How does his "stats" compare to Kellen Moore at the same stage.

So after reading all these posts we can all agree that he is decent ,competent,OK,a rookie,and if he fails then he can be a gusrd or a RT. He is and has been SLOW.I don't know how you learn quick.I hope he can because it means so much to the Bills.

Ben is the reason we have the no clothesline penelty.He almost killed a couple of guys.That is real and no exageration.

What Nix didn't say is that without pads and full speed its impossible to evaluate linemen. Glenn has not done well with speed rushers in college.He needs to be a lot faster off the snap. The good thing is that Anderson and Merriman will be able to put a lot of pressure on him and on Sanders and Hairston. As Nix said we will know after preseason who will play LT.

I think Troup is one hit away from a final IR.I don't think he makes the cut this year.

If you spend even a little time reading the BBMB or the TBD message board a case can be made that the 12th man is a weak spot.

We all have fond memories of Bruse that is true but Bruse ghas never been much of a Bills promoter. Maybe it has something to do with all his personal problems. He always wanted more money than he signed for and maybe that has something to do with it. Maybe its a defenseive mentality because very few defensive players get involved with the team like Kelly and Thomas do. Its just that Bruse said goodbye when he cleaned out his locker.

The way I see it is that as time goes on and the passing game becomes bighger and bigger,nobody remembers that Reed was actually second in all time recieving right behind Jerry Rice for a number of years. Hell yes he deserves it.

I too think we have a good line and need other positions a lot more,but you will not win in this argument because our tackles are not pro bowl players and have been cut from other squads,Oh and the one I love the most is because Nix is old and dosen't know how to evaluate a player.

I don't follow the college game that closely.Can you tell me how many games he dominated in the last two years at the college level where things are much easier than in the pros. You draft people that dominate at the college level hoping that they can be average pros,not the other way around. Now I've heard that people blame his coach for his lack of plays.Really a coach putting his best chance of winning puts his best player on the bench,REALLY!

Well lets see He is s senior . He will graduate so wonderloc just a formality. He has started for not 3 but for 4 years so check. He has 50 freaken wins,thats more than twice what Parsell looks for. Now as far as arm strength goes,again he has 50 wins and he is not a running QB. Now compare him to any past or present college QB.Oh that right no college QB has ever had 50 wins. Now his loses there were 3.Thats right in 4 years his team lost 3 games.This years loss was by one point.

I am one that thought we would improve over last year but I did not have play offs pensiled in.Why you ask.The fact that I knew we would have an extrodinary number of rookies and second year men starting.It is unrealistic to expect that all those new men could play like rookies of the year. I thought that we would most likely be a 6-10 team but I never expected us to be playing without 3 of our best players on both sides of the line. I really think that with the injury situation it would be over achiving to win 2 more games at this point. Anybody that thinks we could be much better than we are with 3/4 of our very best players sitting on the sideline is in a dream world . The only good thing about this year is that our first and second year players are getting something you can't buy,,,,experience. As far as the future goes,I think another good draft by our much improved new scouting dept and GM puts us into a situation we haven't been in in a long long time.I think Buddy has been a God send and I think he has been one of the best wee've had since Polian.It would have been amazing if he only got us a Good O-line in one year considering the poor O-lines we have had for far too long but he has done a lot more.

I wasn't going to say anything then when I thought about it,I got riled up. This BS about Lossman has got to stop,its just so dumb and wrong. Never in the history of Buffalo Bills has a QB been given so much personal attention and coaching.Never has any been given the chances. Buffalo even hired a coach whose only job was to work with not only his skill set but also with his mental attitude.That was a first and maybe also a last. As I said never in the history has Buffalo tried so hard to bring a QB around and what happened,he failed. Now I'm no fan of Thigpen but I would never ever think about replacing him with Lossman. Not only is that stupid its also crazy.

Let me explain a couple of things. First when you have a TE that does what you tell him to do,you have a good TE. Chandler does what he is asked to do. Second much of what you put into your post was the result of all those scouts that were fired by Nix. To go on about what happened in the past with people that are no longer even with the team,and that means coachs and managers is flat out ignorant.How would you be if you were blamed for what the guy you replaced did.Think about it.

If he came to play every week he has the tools to be a top player. The problem is he doesn't come to play every week.Maybe once or twice he wakes up like its a new idea. I wouldn't take him in the seventh round.we need players that play every play. I would take Kelsey every day over this troubled individual.

The NFC has always been a more physical conferance.This is what is in the back of the minds of those that are making those predictions. Its hard for me to go against that mindset.Philly is not a 1-3 team.They are dangerous and sudden. Buffalo will have to play their A+ game this week and next week to have a chance. In these past few years we have all seen the Bills rise to the compitition i.e. dallas.Lets hope they have the same fire this coming few weeks.
