My God this Johnny Von dude HATES Lovie, insults him as a coach and as a man. He gets so personal with it "he's condescening, intellecutally insulting, arrogant..." and he goes on like that. He sounds like one of those media guys that just starts railing on someone because they wouldn't grant them an interview or something.

Chip Kelly HC! (possibly for the Browns)
cosmo replied to 13player's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
People who are against hiring Kelly or Lovie Smith are ridiculous. They're pretty much the top candidates out there, who do you think we're going to get, Vince Lombardi??? -
Predicting who will fill all of these NFL head coaching vacancies
cosmo replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't get why people are talking like the Browns are going to get whoever they want. Correct me if I'm wrong but there doesn't seem to be much talent on the roster besides Richardson and Joe Haden. They used a first round pick last year on a QB that will turn 30 next year and they play in a really tough division. I guess having a new owner and being able to pick a GM helps but I just don't understand why people are acting like this is the best job available. Bills, Chargers and Eagles all seem like better jobs to me. -
Wow that's depressing, I completely forgot about that. Was it Donahoe that made that trade?

The Seahawks winning would be a big win for stats/analytics guys as statistically they're the most efficient team in the NFL.

Was just looking at the year end stats and I'm just amazed how great Rodgers was this year. You hear more about Manning, Brady and Brees it seems like but I think its pretty clear cut that Rodgers is the best QB right now. Not sure if this has ever happened before but Rodgers led the league in QB rating (108.0) and also led the league in sacks (51!). This means that behind one of the worst pass blocking lines, Rodgers still managed to be the league's most efficient QB. He had a better completion % than Brees and Brady, threw fewer INTs than Brees and Manning and threw for more TDs than Brady and Manning despite having fewer attempts. Looking at where he was drafted gives me hope about the Bills possibly getting a legit QB in this years draft. Obviously its ridiculous to think they'll get someone as good as Rodgers but hey 23 teams passed him up so even though scouts are saying this is a very weak QB class, ya never know.

Denver because I want Peyton's career to overshadow Brady's ridiculously overrated career. Or Green Bay because if Aaron Rodgers starts winning more Super Bowls he could overshadow Brady as well. I just don't want to hear about how Brady is this era's best QB for years and years. I really hope he ends his career not ever winning another Super Bowl after the Pats got caught cheating. At least that will give us Brady haters something to hang our hats on.

Grantland piece "The Spiller coming out party"
cosmo replied to Maury Ballstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes! That's the way I do it in my Madden franchise, I have CJ at WR3 on the depth chart and throw it to him across the middle all day. Going on 14-0 now haha! -
Forgive me if this has been covered on here before but does anyone know what kind of relationship these guys have? I assume its a good one because they both seem like good guys and teammates but I was just thinking about how crucial this is to the future of the franchise. I feel like this could be the best situation any team could hope for: scrappy, hard-working veteran who fought his way from the bottom to the top to be the leader and an insanely fast and talented young back that can learn from the vet. I mean this could be the start to a hall of fame type career for Spiller. But this only works if these guys have a good relationship. Like does CJ think "I was a top 10 pick so I should be the star RB on this team now" and does Freddie think that we shouldn't have drafted him in the first place? Or is it as I hope and they have a really solid mentor/mentee relationship?

5 favorite bills players personality wise
cosmo replied to Ba Ba Ba Buffalo Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Stevie Johnson, even though his personality can negatively affect games (celebrations), gotta admit he's one of the most entertaining guys the Bills have had in a while. Freddie of course, with his incredible story of how he got here and just how genuinely awesome he is. George Wilson also built himself up from being an undrafted free agent, and he's in this sweet with Mary J Blige the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul herself. Nick Barnett has a twitter page for his hair called @Mufasashair haha enough said. And I guess the 5th would be Fitz, its kinda cool to have the smartest QB in the league. -
When the owner of the team that is the whole reason for this forum is in his 90's and disappearing from public view, it's completely reasonable to to look in to what plan is in place for when that tragic day comes. I hope whatever happens, that Russ Brandon will be involved, dude seems to know what he is doing.

UPDATE: QB Vince Young Signs With Buffalo Bills
cosmo replied to BillsGuyInMalta's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's worth giving a shot for that 05 Rose Bowl performance alone. -
It was almost like ESPN missed the Bills picking Nigel Bradham on purpose!! Anyone else notice how they took the bottom line away for one stupid commercial and of course when it came back the next team was on the clock?!?!?! And that retard Gruden was giving Berman **** for giving like one line of analysis on the Bills yesterday!

RD 1, Pick #10: DB Stephon Gilmore - South Carolina
cosmo replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Seriously!!! Did everyone forget about how Welker like broke receiving records against us last year? -
RD 1, Pick #10: DB Stephon Gilmore - South Carolina

People act like we still have Jauron evaluating talent. In Buddy and Chan we trust! -
RD 1, Pick #10: DB Stephon Gilmore - South Carolina
cosmo replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So just because Bills GMs in the past whiffed on DBs that means we should never take one ever again?!?! That just doesn't make sense, you take best player available and thats what they did. -
RD 1, Pick #10: DB Stephon Gilmore - South Carolina
cosmo replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For anyone that thinks is a stupid pick, just take 10 minutes and watch some highlights and read about the kid. Not only did he start all 3 years as SC, he was on the academic honor roll the past two years and has no off the field issues etc. Seems like a sure fire starting NFL corner, which is about the best you could hope for given our pick was at #10 and the blue chippers were gone. -
Yeah Norman is a Baller, but I like Tank Carder from TCU the best. People have him going in the 5th which makes no sense to me.

Top three realistic choices

Barron, Kuechly, Floyd. Only because I think Gilmore, Blackmon and Kalil will be gone. -
Will the Bills Draft a OB? I say: NO, but maybe?
cosmo replied to CSBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Russell Wilson in the 4th would be awesome. -
Predict which games the Bills will play in PRIME TIME!
cosmo replied to ThurmasThoman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As a general sports fan that watches a lot of ESPN and NFL network and stuff, its just cool to have a whole pregame show devoted to the game and it's a good way to measure how your team steps up in big moments on the national stage. Primetime games this year gotta be NE and HOU, not sure about 3rd -
The only possible reason they would do this is to screw the Dolphins. It would be pretty funny actually if Manning signs with Tenn and Flynn signs with Seattle and the Bills jump up and grab the only other decent QB left. Miami would be stuck with Henne and Moore for another season lol.
