  1. +1, +1. Powell simply is not able to get that killer punt when we need it. That 29yarder shank job was pretty lame.
  2. Considering the wretched preseason we had, may be the coaching staff is still evaluating what will work. In a game time situation, you can only pick a select # of plays and run it. I actually loved how they ran about 8 times on that penultimate drive before they punted. That was effective running.
  3. What I did not like: Our punting - A 29 yard punt when the game is on the line .....You are kidding me. Stevie disappeared completely today Our WRs need to tip-toe those catches on the sideline and end zone. The game may not have been this close, if the offense converts those turnovers. TOO Many Penalties on offense All those holding calls were big killers especially in the 4th quarter. The offense needs to help out more for the ROOKIE Qb. EJ continues to make mental mistakes. Hopefully, these are rookie growing pains and that he will learn from each one of them as he goes into the next game. Our Run game was fantastic both on offense and defense. The INTs made were not gimme interceptions; they were far more opportunistic Dareus had a monster game. He stepped up when Williams was getting double-teamed EJ was poised once again. Did not let the INT or Fumble keep him down. The strike to Woods was a beauty. Time of Possession - This was huge. Allowed Defense to be
  4. The same goes for them too...They had a drive killed in the end zone...Instead of 7 they had an INT. The game was a seesaw battle of defense...I am glad the Bills were able to run the ball effectively and control the clock....KIKO is a BEAST
  5. +1...Plus Gailey got THREE years to right this ship...Marrone and Hackett are being judged by their performance in THREE GAMES!!
  6. I believe Mario, Lawson, Moats, Alonso and Hughes have been our rotational LBs on the field.
  7. That is not true...The 2 pt conversion to Woods for a laser sharp throw in a pretty tight window.
  8. Couldn't agree more. You have to put the Kid in a position to succeed...You can't have him carry the weight of this team on his shoulders...
  9. With the amount of "talented" QBs that pundits are predicting will come out in next years draft, I don't think the Browns are going to need too many picks to get that franchise QB, especially considering that they have a very good shot at finishing in the top 3 in the draft order for next years draft. It would be ironic (like the Bills) for them to give up Richardson and then use that pick to draft a RB!!!
  10. Playing in the college is not the same as playing in the NFL.....Just saying!!
  11. But..But....I thought coach Gailey went after a spectator in training camp when he heckled Trent Edwards!!!! But...But....Weren't every one angry last week for him to put the ball from the Patriots 40 yard line!!!
  12. How about all the three of them and if Goodwin can come back from his injury and play like he did in Pre-season, the top 4 picks would be excellent. He looks so skinny (like a WR) on TV!
  13. You should stop and start thinking about the season finale!!
  14. And that front office was run by Mike Holmgren to boot!!!
  15. There is always this confusion about long balls...Many feel long balls as "bombs" that goes for 40-60 yards, whereas a majority of analysis defined long ball as something that provides 15-20 yards; some call them as intermediate routes...The good teams are very good in that 15-20 yard category....Very rarely successful teams are defined by the # of 40-60 yard throws.
  16. He played on ONE snap out of 79 snaps.
  17. I wish Robert Woods will start getting more recognition. This guy has played two outstanding games for the Buffalo Bills and so has Kiko Alonzo.
  18. They could if they would stop shooting in their foot...No penalties and good 3rd down plays...
  19. And both have had come-back victories to boot in the first two weeks of the season. And both have been pretty lucky...Both comebacks fall short if the TB guy does not make a bone headed play or if Kueckly does not PI with Stevie.
  20. And so did we...We lost to a weak Patriots at home and barely beat a self-defeating Panthers. While agree that the Jets are much closer to the Bills...While they may be ranked 30th against the run, they still are yet to give up a rushing TD.....They have forced the Panthers and Patriots to settle for FG when they have been in the Bills Redzone.
  21. The decision by Woods is an awesome piece of heads up play. He is definitely becoming one popular player (and probably a clutch one too)
  22. Wood is the heart and soul of this OL. When he is out there, our OL overall plays very well.
  23. May be the pass rush with pressure up front has something to do with that.
  24. I don't know why people are paranoid about those checkdowns...Even the great Manning and Brady often checkdown to their running backs. +1.
