Oh really?I am sure 15 other teams would disagree including the teams QBed by one Tom Brady! Peyton has had great regular seasons only to choke in the playoffs against Ravens, Patriots and Steelers.
Kiko's first interception was another example of confusing the QB. You can see Alonso and Manny Lawson communicating during the play and passing the WRs off to one another on their crossing routes. In this process Flacco just loses Alonso.
Manny lawson and Kiko have changed the dynamics of this LB corps completely.
And don
And don't forget Goodwin and Hopkins, when they comes back from his injury. Truly a good class for the Bills since they got Henry,Schoebel etc.
And hopefully we will get back Byrd, Gilmore and McKelvin back along with rest for Spiller and Jackson.
Why not? The Bills have been in every game and have had a chance to win it at the end.
Considering that we were leading or down by 3 points or less entering the 4th quarter, I think this team has been competitive. If the Offense can show some consistency, that would be extremely good progress
Where did you see EJ falling part in the 2nd half...The Ravens made better adjustments and tightened their defense. EJ made sure to protect the football.
After four games:
Hopkins - 20 Receptions, 270 Yards, 1 TD
Woods - 11 Receptions, 201 Yards, 2 TD
Patterons - 6, 82, 0
Austin - 20, 124, 2.
The Yards Per Catch for Woods is the best among all of them.
Both are going head to head..
Both Geno Smith and EJ Manuel have played exactly 4 games and both their records are 2-2 and yet we are already labeling Smith as an *average QB* ? :wallbash:
The worse ones are like Kevin Kolb, who I believe has made close to 50M, without even having a winning record....I don't have any problem with Flacco getting the big contract. Also, yesterday, Flacco's WRs let him down by popping the ball up for the Bills defenders to get to them and Aaron williams making an unbelievable shoe-string tackle that saved four points - the difference between a win and a loss.
+1. And that defense was porous yesterday.
The Browns have always played tough against the Bills and I think have a 3-1 record (or something like that in the last four games)...We lost that Snow bowl in Cleveland, the Tre(INT) game where he kept giving the ball to them (including the muffing of punt)...
Agree. The Ravens made better half-time adjustments than us. We were sloppy with penalties, poor 3rd down conversions (No creativity in this area) and inability to make the clutch plays on offense. The best thing to happen to this team today was their ability to shut the Raven's running game and running the ball ourselves successfully.
When they kept showing the replay on Kiko's INT, I thought this crew will overturn that with our wretched luck with all of that. For a change, I think the Refs got all the calls correct (at least the critical ones).
I think the OP's premise is that if there is not enough conclusive evidence, the call *must* not be overturned.
Heck...We could be 4-0 or 0-4 the way these games have gone into the 2 minute warning in the 4th quarter. The fact that the Young Bills are in the games in the final minutes of a game is a tribute to this staff. I couldn't imagine Wannested or Edwards being able to run this defense with the type of injuries we have had. Another great thing is that while Pettine brings pressure by blitzing, the majority of the sacks have come from the front seven and not by the defensive backs. I hope they know how to stop the run moving forward.
