  1. EJ has simply been inaccurate. That is the bottomline. Marrone could see the frustrations building in his WRs. The coach feels that for his dink and dunk offense, may be he simply needs a true game manager who will successfully make those short passes and open up the running game. EJ did not do that.
  2. Agreed. Thought letting Fitz run for those first downs cost us some significant time. EJ made two bad plays. I think they had enough time at the end to not have to make that play. The worst thing was the Bills did not try running the ball in the 2nd quarter and put the ball in Manuels hands and he was not up to it
  3. I think he is Fitzpatrick 2.0.
  4. What a lousy drive!
  5. why no directional punts today. They had chance to pin them down there.
  6. 14 point swing....Damn!
  7. Don't you think the OL has no share of the blame.
  8. Only in Buffalo.
  9. When they play the Bills, all these problems will go away and they will be a happy bunch
  10. When they play the Bills, all these problems will go away and they will be a happy bunch
  11. Flutie played for the Bills after multiple stints at the NFL and then success across the border. He built his intangibles after that...Let us give EJ sometime before throwing him under the bus.
  12. And how we still have a Women overseeing the ownership of the Buffalo Bills and how Kim Pegula will be a source of inspiration as a owner of the Buffalo Bills!
  13. 8) How many rushing yards will the Patriots roll up against the Raiders? With Tom Brady struggling on deep throws (he is just 1 of 15 on passes that travel at least 20 yards in the air this season) and New England's offense sputtering (it's ranked 27th overall entering Week 3), the team could rely on the run game to exploit Oakland's porous defense. The Raiders are one of just two teams in the past five years to allow 400 yards rushing through Week 2 (not surprisingly, theirs is the lowest-ranked rushing defensein the NFL). The Patriots' Stevan Ridley had 25 rushes for 101 yards and one touchdown against the Vikings last week.
  14. kick butt on Offense Kick butt on Defense Kick butt on Special teams and walk away with the win
  15. Didn't the Bills have multiple interceptions against Rivers when they played at the Ralph last time a few years ago. This was the game where we lost power and old-style manual clock counts were used for the play clock.
  16. Indian Premier League, Cricket Twenty-Twenty !!!
  17. And we would need the 12th Man to fully suited up!
  18. Big Ben also benefited from some fantastic OCs in Ken Wishenhunt and Bruce Arians during those SB years.
  19. Bettis and Harrison would be in for a long discussion.
  20. Doug Flutie was the Ultimate game manager for the Bills. When he played we knew we had a shot to win. Isn't that being a good manager. Ben was not the centerpiece of that team. The RBs (Parker and Bettis), Defense (Polamalu, Hampton) and ST were.
  21. Ben Rothelisberger was a game manager in his first two seasons on his way to the AFC Championship in the first year and the Super bowl in the 2nd season. His goal was to not make mistakes and make the right throws. The defense and STs were built to win the championshop for them. I am perfectly happy with EJ being a game manager for the next two seasons as long as we continue to win. BTW, a game manager still needs to make sharp and critical throws. EJ still has his task cut out. THe only thing is that the Bills are not asking him to win the games by himself.
  22. we also have to play the Packers, Broncos, Patriots (twice), Chargers (who just beat the Hawks). They all even out
  23. Bill, No mention of our RT today? He shut down Wake Cameron. Wake couldn't even sniff EJ's odor. It was that dominant by Seantrel. Another play that stood out showing a new generation of Bills was the hit put on by Woods on the Kick return. It was bone chilling!
  24. Cousins sucked last year when thrust into the role of the starter. And now it appears DeSean Jackson is injured too.
  25. And Kirk Cousins is the favorite QB in the Nation's capital again!
