  1. There is a very fine line dividing the NFL teams in terms of talent. A few plays here and there and the smartness of the teams separates the pretenders and contenders. The Jets are contenders because they have played SMART football with the same talent level as possibly the Bills. Remember the Jets are ranked #1 against the Run, forcing opposing teams to throw against a HOF CB.
  2. EJ is done with the Bills, whether we like it or not. Kaep and RGIII would want an opportunity to compete for starting job in TC. They are not going to come in for a backup position. There are plenty of teams that are QB needy.
  3. The Bickering Bills....Once again Rex shows that he has no control over his players...This is exactly what you get when you are a players coach....Players take you for granted.....Marronne ran a pretty tight ship....He never let players talk to the media.
  4. ANd yet we are 3-2 in our division beating both Miami and the Jets.
  5. In 10 out of 15 seasons, Miami and the Jets have split their season with the Patriots. On the other hand the Bills have done it just 4 times....I don't think the Patriots start with a 6-0 advantage every season...May be 2-0 due to the lack lusture Bills.
  6. Agree with KW. But the salary cap, the age (32) and season-ending injuries in back-to-back seasons will hurt his chances. Plus if they have to pay on the OL (Richie and Glenn) then they have to take some money away from the DL.
  7. WHy...How is different than the other games that we lost....We were 28-3 against the Jags too... We could have beaten Kansas City and we lost. We could have beaten Philly and we lost.
  8. DOn't forget Belichek and Brady. They are winning with nobody....
  9. Watkins was injured in pre-season. It has taken a while to build the chemistry. Watkins did not make plays (or did not get an opportunity) early in the season and we were winning then. Now Watkins in his true form, sadly the bills can't convert that success to team wins. Not having Clay has hurt Tyrod the past two weeks. This team does not have a legitimate 2nd WR. Woods is becoming a 3rd WR. Hogan has been off-form for the past month, dropping several key plays.
  10. If our defense can hold teams under 20 points, Taylor wins a lot more games......Taylor would have been our Russell Wilson if our defense could have played lights out.
  11. We could see a whole new team at next training camp, if everything that is being said around the press is true. Positions that we may have to draft/FA LT - Cordy Glenn - This might be a 50-50 chance. Bills should sign him. It is hard to get good/above average LT LG - Richie Incognito - Will the Bills re-sign him to a contract extension RT - If Henderson cannot play, they have to possibly draft a new RT WR - I am not sold on Woods as a second WR (Not Chris Hogan). We would need a 2nd true WR. Also, not sure who can really play the slot. TE - We definitely need a second TE to back up Clay. Leary played well and the next few weeks will decide if he really can be the backup. Gragg will be the 3rd TE. RB - I think this position is set and I don't see any changes to the 1-2-3. Defense DL - The Williams twins could be gone...Salary cap purge. Philosophical difference. Kyle and Mario may have played their last games in a BIlls uniform. LB - We need three starters at this position. Preston Brown regressed and sucked. Nigel may hit FA. Safety - THis is another position of need. If Aaron Williams retires that is a big gaping hole to fill CB - Can Gilmore be signed along with Glenn, Incognito and Bradham. That is a tough choice. We could possibly have 12 new starters (in the worst case) next season.
  12. And don't forget retaining Crossman as the ST coach. This guy sucked in Detroit....They could have easily found a better ST Coach. The worst was that yesterday, the Kick off was not even reaching the end zone...I thought that is why they had a specialist kicker.
  13. And yet when Gilmore went down, he did not have the next man up ready for the starting gig. In my book, that is not good. The Bills have too many people overrated and Henderson is one of them.
  14. To have that many catches and drives, you need a rhythm in the offense. You need to have the RBs make plays and the other WRs be part of the offense. Sadly, we had a lot of trouble with that.
  15. No scheme change makes a difference in tackling. Classically evident...He couldn't tackle. Woods has been very disappointing. I almost feel he is taking of plays knowing that he is just a decoy. And now suddenly he is not a decoy anymore, he cannot step up and be that guy. Our hopes of him becoming our own Hines Ward has been dashed.
  16. Agreed. Tyrod is not the reason we are not in the playoffs. Horrible Defense and Special Teams and suspect Offensive play calling at critical situations. Agreed that Tyrod has been a slow starter...(Yesterday he had 27 yards passing in the 1st half). He did not have anyone to throw yesterday besides Watkins. Woods has really regressed and with no TEs, this was going to be a stop the other team kind of game and our D came up woefully short
  17. There is no good defense here...Average players....Four to Five starters in Darby, Dareus, Hughes, Williams. Our LBs are the worst in the league. I cringe every time our DBs make a tackle on a running play. That was the most unimaginative play calling at the less-than-one-yard line. Not even a naked boot leg!!!! Or where was Karlos...
  18. This is crap. Give credit to the guy who molded that defense. The beauty of his defense was that he was able to rush the passer with his DL and not with some exotic blitz by his DBs.
  19. pretty lame on-side kick....
  20. Cordy Glenn Sucked on that play
  21. A stop a drive too late..... That is Rex's defense !!!!
  22. It is a shame that our DBs and not our LBs are wrapping up RBs.
  23. Rex that is a blitz......
