As others pointed out, a gamer would have better stats in the last three years....He is buried in the depth chart and that is what he is..if a better backup becomes available then he will be replaced.

I agree...this was the difference between Big Ben and JP in their rookie season...Big Ben was elusive and made ccurate throws that didn't require his OL to block all day for him. On the flip side for both JP and Trent Edwards, the line needed to protect them if they had to connect. The other aspect I see with Josh is his "anticipation". Something Tyrod could never do. A Offensive game plan like the Patriots is pre-determined on QB's anticipation of where a receiver is going to be and to throw before that...Tyrod refused to do that so many times.

I love our boards optimism (and why not...after almost two decades we actually have a QB who can throw the ball to anywhere in the field). The key is that (as cliche goes!) the NFL is a game of inches...If you made that throw then you are called accurate...if you didn't, then you are labeled inaccurate... +1 Give him time fixed it!
