I would rather have Glennon who was released today by the Jaguars.

It would be tough to see us lose to Ryan Tanehill

wow. I was at that season opener against the Giants in 1994. -
He had two big runs against us last year...It showed that either he had the legs or our Run defense was weak.

Couldn't Roberts do the sweep role? Actually, I think John Brown has the speed for that role

You still have to earn it. The dolphins have added talent and can compete. The Patriots will always be solid under Hoody

Gilliam now listed at TE on roster

People assume that we can fill our roster with all the best FA players....there is something called a cap. The Bills, if they want to sustain the playoff runs and superbowl bid has to get street FA and rookies work out in non-critical positions and even in some critical positions. Once that Josh Allen 2nd contract is in place, it will tie them down even more,... You can't afford to have a $3M FB who is marginally (in the bigger scheme of things) better than a rookie or street FA....That is why Hauscka was let go even though it is a critical position. The same goes for Andre Roberts, Trent Murphy etc. -
3 QBs, 4 RBs, 4 TE, 7WR, 9 OL = 27 how do it trim it to 26 or 25 ? I don't think the team can carry 7 WRs. The options are * cut Fromm and hope he can be added to PS * cut Roberts and hope McKenzie and Gabe can do KR and PR

SIngletary is a star in the making. He just needs to hold on to the football. Moss will be the hammering back that will come in when we need to kill the clock or get some tough first downs,

We will see on the field in two weeks. -
Will Beane make a trade before cuts?

Tough one though.... Diggs, Brown, Beasley, Davis, Roberts 1 spot down Hodgins, Mckenzie, Williams, Foster -

TE is fairly set.... Knox, Kroft, Sweeney and either Smith or Croom. They really love Sweeney and are not going to give up on him unless they get good trade value. Sweeney has limited athletic ability unlike Knox, but is a football player. -
And probably a deep fear inside to touch other players due to what is going on around you !

The big missing piece is the pass rush. Even when we had Phillips and Lawson sacking opposing QB, it didn't feel like they were terrorizing the QB. We don't have that player who can make that play when it counts (even Hughes included). Examples are * Allowing the game winning drive for Cleveland * Allowing Houston to make a 3rd and eternity when it counted * Allowing Lamar to pick and choose who he wanted to throw the ball * Even allowing Ducky to make those throws at the end of the game (bailed out by the secondary)

Umm. If you compare the rosters 2019 RB: Gore, SIngletary 2020 RB: Singletary, Moss Moss is younger, faster and more powerful than Gore at this stage of his career 2019 WR: Beasley, Brown and McKenzie 2020 WR: Diggs, Brown, Beasley, McKenzie, Gabriel - Gabriel college production far outweigh the rest of the crew 2019 and 2020 OL - Return their starters. But they have a full year of together. We have also added solid backups who can start. 2019 and 2020 TE - Last year we saw very little of Kroft due to injury. This year Knox and Sweeney enter their 2nd year thirsting for more opportunities. Just returning 10 of the 11 starters gives them continuity
-
I think Milano and Dawkins get one before Tre.
-
Agree in principle. The reason Gore was on the field early: * Singletary was not ready early in the season * Singletary was injured early in the season * Singletary and Yeldon had ball securing issues As the season went on, the coin did get flipped. I think we should blame Daboll more for not involving Singletary late in the 4th quarter.

People keep saying we have a SB winning defense..yet our defense choked in the 2nd half of the wild card game to stop the Texans. They gave up 19 straight points. Giving up that 3rd and eternity to the RB by everyone running past the down marker is not the mark of a championship caliber defense. This defense still does not have the necessary pass rush and also leaks like a bucket against the running game...It still needs a lot of work not withstanding the gaudy numbers on points and yards.
