Ntm the Chiefs offensive tackles are the worst pair of tackles in the league. Rouse should've at least had 2 sacks vs them bums. Mof none of our edge players made them pay and Mcd schemes didn't do anything to help them either just a complete meltdown if u ask me.

I say bring him back at 18 mil per and not a penny more you can't pay someone for future production or for upside you pay them for what they've done and so far Rouse is a middle of the pact edge player . I would offer him a 5yr 90 mil deal with 45 guaranteed if he doesn't except that then see what he's worth on the trade market and cut your losses.

I agree with you we need the team to collectively stand up and not take no for an answer. It seems more then anything that Mcd defense is the major problem here KC got shut down by the Texans 212 total yds in that game and we all seen what Philly did to KC offense but the Bills give up 32 to a team that hasn't scored 30 all year long? Mcd defense is the worst I ever seen in the playoffs and I've been watching football for nearly 40 yrs. I'm pretty sure that it's historically bad in our losses maybe even worst of all time bad. Andy Reid and Mahomes know our defense more then anyone and find ways to exploit our schemes and weaknesses. There's no way we will beat them on this stage until Mcd is gone or he gives up full control of the defense. Once the Bills get eliminated next season again in the KC inventational will Pegs finally realize this front office and coaching staff got to go? I hope he does and I hope he makes the move we need to get to the next level and that's hiring Ole Bill Belichek. Bill can match wits with Andy on any given Sunday he's one of few that can do it. Until then I'll see here next yr after KC hands us a 5th loss in the playoffs.

I think there's other factors on how they evaluate talent. We know from what McBeane has said in the past they don't value athletic abilities as much as other GMs do this might explain why we don't draft much players from the SEC. The Bills value character and work ethic more and they always want to have some feel of familiarity with there prospects . It's funny how we hear stories about prospects like Elam wanting a playbook to take home with him or Coleman lighting up the interview room with his character. Basically what your saying is the Bills study long study wrong when it comes to the draft.

I'm really surprised Whaley never got another chance to be GM for another team. He never really got the full control of this team like u said. He wasn't the one that made the Rex hire neither was he the GM when Ej was drafted. The point is Beane is not a great talent evaluator and he's making the same mistakes other administrations made that he critized them for like putting us in Cap trouble. He's drafted 4 pro bowl players in 7 drafts that's horrible. Maybe Beane should hire his old boss Dave Gettleman to run the draft for him or at least as a consultant.

He definitely ran less but he still took some big hits this year. Obviously I'm hoping he transitions his game yr by yr becoming less dependent on scrambles and designed runs. He still has to be accounted for by the defense for his running abilities will that affect him when he becomes more of a pocket passer that's yet to be seen. I love Allen and hope he plays at this level till he's 40 but the most likely outcome will be closer to what the original poster indicated which can be another 5 yrs or so.

Obviously u wanna use connections to help you know who the person is your getting in the draft. The problem is it seems the Bills put heavy emphasis on this even when it comes to free agents. They like guys there familiar with and I believe this is part of the problem and to me it's borderline lazy work by our front office. Way to much emphasis on these nice guys and the culture in the locker room. Obviously u want to have a foundation of good character players but once u have that u can add in a couple of odd balls to the mix. This team needs an infusion of nasty on it especially on the defensive side of the ball. We're undersized overall on defense we need to get bigger and more nasty. The way this team is built especially on defensive side of the ball is flawed in my opinion. They don't have the formula that leads to winning championships and after 8yrs in control I don't believe Mcd well ever figure it out. I hope I'm wrong but I doubt it.

I like Stokes at corner and also his teammate Ballentine they both came on strong the 2nd half of last season. At Safety there's a bunch of guys how about taking a chance on Hufanaga for the right price or Chinn Wr- I love Dyami Brown I think he can be an absolute steal for the right price. This free agency period is loaded on defensive side of the ball with players going into there 2nd contract 24-28yrs old players. The Bills need to go get these types of players.

Bpa definitely needs to be within reason for instance we had a need for a Safety in last years draft nearly everyone and there mother had Cooper DeJean rated higher then Coleman or Braden Fiske or TaVondre Sweat at DT but instead we went with the big slow Wr that probably would've fell to the 3rd or 4th rd because of slow 40 times.

I agree Mcd maybe made the calls during the draft but he sure didn't scout these players. Whaley staff brought him the grocery list obviously Beane and his staff do the same thing but we haven't been able to replicate that success and I know why. The question is how many Pro bowl talents did Beane bring in from 2018 till today ? I'm willing bet it's not as much as that 2017 off-season combined. I know Taron is definitely one of them and Spencer Brown played like one this yr Cookie also but we're talking about at least 6 off-seasons combined from 2018 to 2023.

Ntm Monos was player personnel guy basically in charge of free agents and I think he did a great job at that. I'm one of few here that truly believe if Whaley front office was paired with Mcd we would've already won a couple Superbowls. 2017 off-season was the best we had in the Mcd era and Whaley and his staff was in charge of finding those talents that we ended up signing and drafting. Maybe Mcd made the decision like some will say here but there's no doubt who gave him the shopping list so to speak. Up until recently we were still living off that off-season with players like Tre, Dawkins, Milano , Poyer & Hyde all these guys have been to the pro bowl and some on all pro teams if not all of them if I'm not mistaken. These players were the difference makers on this team .

Jerad Verse and Chop Robinson was right there for the taking last yr just needed to move up a couple spots.
