  1. I don't believe this to be the universal sentiment amongst all Bills fans. Yes Diggs has preformed at a high level in his 4yrs as a Bill but when u consider he's already declining along with the yr we traded for Diggs was a really strong yr in the draft for Wrs u come to the realization that was another blunder by Beane. With all that being said when u factor in the salary he received that helped put us in the cap situation we are in now instead of having a player like Jefferson or Higgins on a cost control deal and having one of them for the foreseeable future. When u add it all up Diggs cost us a 1st and 4th and salary cap space to have for basically 4yrs that's almost just as bad as drafting a player and losing him after 4yrs so essentially he was rental player not going to help us moving forward.
  2. I guess u don't like facts! Instead u want to try to insult someone for laying them out for you. Every big move outside of Josh Allen that Beane has made has backfired from Von to throwing multiple high picks in the trash. I'll give him this he did a much better job in last yrs draft at the top with the Kincaid and O'Cyrus picks hopefully this is a sign of things to come
  3. I loved Reader as well that yr. I agree Sweat will go in the 2nd Rd.
  4. Everyone has an opinion. I don't agree with your take . The fact is he's been horrible in the top rounds picking average at best players and having no feel for the strength or value of the draft. His best pick was Josh Allen but outside of that he's not drafted a single difference maker. Oliver is probably his best pk outside of Allen but hasn't and wasn't even the best player at his position in that draft Simmons, Wilkins & Lawrence have all had better careers so far. Beane does get better starting in the 3rd round I'll give him that but he's been brutality bad in the first 2rds of the draft. Trading up for Elam and Cody are prime examples of his lack of patience during the draft . Say what u want but facts are facts and Beane has not done a good job during the money rds of the draft and this team is paying for it.
  5. He's not old enough! 😂
  6. I like Sweat but u don't use a high picks in the draft on run stuffing 2 down players. He's not a Ngata type. DJ Reader is a free agent and he won't break the bank go sign him instead.
  7. Beane has a knack for trading up for Busts that tells u he's a horrible GM. We should've taken Mahomes. I was screaming at the TV 😂 soon after the trade I was nearly in tears .
  8. But we do fall short of other rotations across the league as far as percentages go . Then the assett management is where we both definitely agree can't put all that money and picks on rotation players. There needs to be some cheap talent some late picks in the mix. Pay your top guys but otherwise go cheap.
  9. The Dolphins D was one of best during the 2nd half of the season u can't blame Fangio for the injuries that occurred right before the playoffs they were missing 7 starters on defense against KC and still held them to less yds and pts then the Bills gave up to KC. I realize we also had injuries but Fangio did a great job with the Dolphins.
  10. I agree with u and this should prove that Mcd is a control freak wants things done only his way. The Bills probably run the least wide 9, stunts and twists then any team in the league. Seems like we're always rushing the same way on every play. If anyone can correct please do.
  11. I've been going to games since the 90s. I don't go to many games probably been to 20 games total I think my record is 15-5. Including 2 big wins this yr Mia at Buff and At KC
  12. This is an excellent opportunity for the Bills to change there philosophy with the DLine. Mcd needs to scrap his heavy rotation because we can't afford it. Paying bkups 6-7 mil per season is not a good recipe for success for the Dline or for the salary cap. U can't continue to use high pks and millions of dollars of cap space for part time players. Obviously u have to have a rotation but there should be a clear totem pole with the starters playing 65-75% of the snaps and bkups coming in to spell them at the 35-25% of the time. Mcd system has not been that type of rotation it's more of a 50/50 split. I believe Oliver played the most last season and he was at around 60% of snaps. If u look at the best teams or most teams in general they don't rotate the way the Bills do.
  13. Settle was so bad in the KC game never want to see him on this team again. The Chiefs ran right at him and AJ Klien it was horrible to watch. I'm with you Gunner get Never Settle out!
  14. That explains all the scrub vets they brought in that yr.
  15. Hopefully the Wrs we sign are vet min deals and they are signed more to play special teams. Mcd needs to learn to trust rookies more. We can't keep signing players for cheap 1 yr deals and giving them more playing time then our rookies and young vets. This strategy has stunted the growth of our young players at times or outright got them traded like Teller. We need to lean on young players it boosts the team in many ways especially the salary cap
  16. He's a solid player and would be a good fit for us but I'm hoping we don't use more then 3 mil to sign any Wr in free agency. I hope we attack the Wr position in the draft. We need to draft 2 Wrs in first 5 rds and they need to play heavy snaps in 2024. We need a burner and a yac monster to add to Shakir, Diggs & Kincaid. Adding a vet would keep the rookies on the bench and I rather have those young players getting much needed experience so by the playoffs they will be battle tested sort of like what Balt, KC & GB did this yr. They stuck with there young Wrs and by the end of the season they were settled in there roles and contributing at a high level . I would like to see what little cap space the Bills have be used on Safeties and Dlineman. This is a loaded yr for safeties in free agency u have players like Xaxier McKinney, Jeremy Chinn and Darnel Savage these guys won't break the bank and can contribute immediately in our defense. We can sign a new tandem of Safeties for relatively cheap. I would love to see Chinn in a Bills uniform he would be great in our system. There's a lot more safeties available it's too much to mention them all Antione Winfield Jr and Kyle Duggar are also available but I didn't mention them because they'll cost to much to sign. Basically use the draft for a couple of Wrs and the rest of the draft and free agency for the defense.
  17. I don't know if it's worse but I can tell u for a fact I'm still in pain. It's a damn shame the previous game vs Pitt we got injuries because of our field it was frozen like a rock . 2 yrs in a row our home field advantage seems to be a disadvantage. The Bills need to go to natural grass immediately if we're serious about winning a title. I think part of the pain for me is knowing if we were healthy we would've won easily vs the Chiefs.
  18. Franklin I need to do some more work on just watched a few highlights but really haven't got down to some other forms of evaluation.
  19. I admire the Ravens front office Decosta is probably the best GM in the game. This yr might be the yr for the Bills were BPA meets need especially at Wr. Other Wrs I love is AD Mitch and Worthy not the biggest fan of the Franklin
  20. He's definitely boom or bust but I still feel the same way if he's there u take him. One of the issues with Bills drafting over the yrs is they tend to go safe with there picks giving us adequate average players . The Bills desperately need difference makers and Leggette definitely it's the mold of a player that can reach that high ceiling potential.
  21. My point is there are busts at every position at every pick. I'm on the Bpa train obviously within reason. The Ravens draft BPA every yr and there always pking towards the back of the first same with the Bengals and Steelers. When it comes to your point about Wrs and there skill sets obviously u want to see if they can do the basics. I'll tell u why there's a higher bust rate most Wrs tend to play with there physical abilities in college not counting on leverage, Footwork, Technique, Route Running and catching abilities and the systems they play in are usually simple and they only ask for the Wrs to run a few different routes. Over the last few yrs NFL offenses are going to more spread offenses making the transition easier for Wrs and we've been seeing the bust rate go down drastically. At the end of the day u can't take a position off the board due to bust rates because every position has busts. If u have conviction on a player u have to take him no matter the position he plays.
  22. U can say this about every position.
  23. He probably won't run 4.29 like some say but he definitely shows crazy burst and speed on film and was clocked multiple times last yr running over 22mph. That's crazy speed no matter what the 40 time is .
  24. Xavier Leggette is like the Josh Allen of Wrs the kid is a flat out freak athlete but will need time to develop he definitely has the most upside of any Wr in this draft outside of Harrison Jr. I believe the Bills will be one of the best places for Leggette to land as we have a pecking order in place already with Diggs, Kincaid and Shakir and Leggette can slide in from day one in Gabe Spot . He can be used in Wr screens and vertical routes to begin his career while polishing his route running. Leggette reminds me of a mix of Deebo/Metcalf he has that crazy YAC ability that Deebo has and also has the vertical speed and leaping abilities that DK posseses. If the Bills want to take a Wr at #28 and Leggette is still on the board u have to take him. He'll have his rookie bumps but like I said he'll have time to properly develop all while giving us a much needed weapon at the X reciever spot. I also believe he can be used at times in the slot and will be a flat out nightmare after the catch in the middle of the field.
