  1. Cook only had 8 broken tackles the whole year. He's a product of the system if we get a better more conventional back we would be much better at running the ball. We all seen Cook wear down at the end of the season he's not a workhorse back even his college coaches knew this why don't the Bills? Harris had 2 brkn tackles on 23 touches compared to Cook 8 on 325. Cook was tied for 36 in the NFL in that category even though he had more touches then 90% of the players on that list. That's awful we need a bigger stronger back. Cook is better suited for a Gibbs type role getting 10-12 touches a week. We need a true workhorse to carry the load.
  2. We were also much better running out of these formations I believe Cook averaged a whopping 1.5 yds more per run then when we ran out of shotgun. Josh is also a killer when it comes to play action. He's probably the best in the league at it. The problem is once Brady took over we ran a lot less play action I wonder why. I hope that Brady keeps using these west coast offense concepts next season use more play action like the Rams and 49ers do.
  3. Mcd has shown us in these 7 yrs that's he's not gonna change much. He loves his Dline rotation and he loves having old vets on the team especially at running back he loves having a old man in the bk field from Tolbert to Gore to Murray. I'm not a big fan of his rotations myself most teams have a top 4 that plays most of the game . When it comes to Jenkins Jr he can add some weight maybe not 20 lbs but 10 for sure that would put him at 315lbs and it's not just the weight that matters it's adding strength. He's got power already just needs some work with technique and anchoring. I think the kid can become a flat out beast a pro bowl type player.
  4. That's a good question he is good vs the run but can he anchor against double teams with consistency? He has the size and power also has the lateral movement skills. I believe he can play some 1T but not on every down especially to start his career he would have to be a rotation player but by year 2 if he adds 20lbs to his frame he can be a dominant 1T. I believe he can play at least 50% of snaps to start his career. He can definitely line up at the 3 on passing downs and also back up Oliver the 35% of the downs he's not on the field. We seen the Bills use Tim Settle as a 1T as a rotation player although most here felt he was better suited for the 3T. I believe Kris Jenkins is already a much better player then Settle ever was .
  5. Maybe his teammate James Williams in the 3rd Rd.
  6. I also believe Thomas will be gone before we pick. I do believe he has it to be a #1 however. Someone will get a really good player there imo. I think Franklin is very good. Would like him there at 28. I think there’s a good chance he’ll be there. Will depend on how FA and then the draft falls for teams in need of a WR. if we’re lucky enough to grab him it’ll be fantastic. I also like Polk. Very good looking tape. Could be that guy for sure. And I don’t think there’s a reason he wouldn’t be there. Might even be able to trade down a few spots for extra picks and take him. Not sure it’ll be worth it to chance it but will have to see how the board plays out in draft day. I think with Franklin being there at 28 it’ll depend on how some guys perform at the combine and who might come out of nowhere to jump in front of him. By all accounts, at the senior bowl Legette and his stock took a dump. But if he lights it up at the combine there’s a chance he climbs back up. He’s one guy I want to stay away from imo. At least in the first round. Probably the 2nd for me also. But it’ll depend on what we do before that and who’s left at that point. after Polk I like Mitchell a lot. Walker a lot. Worthy too but we’d still need a physically demanding receiver along with him. He’s just too slim to be a #1 imo. Dream scenario is if something like Franklin in the 1st, somehow someone like Sweat makes it to the 2nd. Then trade up into the early-mid 3rd for Worthy and be set at those positions for a while. I got Franklin, Leggette, Mitchell as the guys I would love to see us get. I don't care that Leggette had 1 bad day and 1 good day at the senior bowl. Players like Deebo, AJ Brown and DK Metcalf weren't finished products by any means coming out and that's why they went in the 2nd Rd of the draft but look all 3 are basically super stars in the NFL. I believe if the Bills see that type of player in Leggette in have no problem with them drafting him in the late first Rd. Btw have u ever looked at Kris Jenkins Jr at DT? Man he's a beast I would love to add him at #60. His father was an absolute stud in the NFL I can see Jr having even a better career then him.
  7. Give me the Red helmets a few times a yr with our current unis I don't care if it's the white road uni or the blue home uni I just want to see that red helmet again please!
  8. Couldn't agree with u more he needs to be used like Gibbs. He also needs some serious time working on the jugs machine this off-season as well as working with Josh Allen and getting there timing down. Cook is not built for 325 touches maybe 200-240 the most but anything over that is to much. He wore down towards the end of the season and his play dropped drastically. He can use another 5-10 lbs of muscle but on that frame not sure its douable. I truly believe Cook season was not necessarily because he's great at RB but because he's a product of Josh Allen and fact that we see less 6 man boxes then any team in the NFL not only that but the oline was awesome this season. Now I won't take away from him that he did get much better last off-season and that he'll probably even get better this off-season but I'm a true believe if the Bills had an elite RB he would be much better and would make more of a difference for us then Cook had vs the Chiefs in the playoffs. Now does that mean we should try to sign Barkley? I'm not on board with that because of his price but that shouldn't hold the Bills back from trying to find a better player in the mid to late rds of the draft or to bring in someone to compete with him via free agency.
  9. I believe Franklin will be better then Thomas as well especially for the Bills. Franklin runs much better routes and he's only 20 yrs old which means to me that he works harder at his game or he's just more coachable either way that's a great sign because he'll get better at the next level. He also has a great feel from I what I seen on tape for finding soft spots in zone coverage he gives me Justin Jefferson feel to his game. Add to it that he's very fast and also uses different speeds while running routes I just feel like he's more nuanced in his game and when I found out he's only 20 yrs old that made me feel that much better about him. I also feel like he can add 10-12 lbs to his 178lb frame within 2 yrs and that will help him with his yac and getting off jams vs physical Wrs . He's gonna need that added weight and strength because one of his weaknesses is getting re-routed by physical corners but once he develops more he will be a top notch Wr in the NFL.
  10. I can see Duvernay signing a 3yr 12mil deal i think that's fair for a top flight KR)PR with a small role on offense.
  11. I can basically guarantee u that Diggs will be back. He just started a 4yr extension nobody has ever signed an extension and was cut or traded before it even starts. To much cap ramifications especially for a team that already has cap problems. Draft 2 Wrs this yr and next yr u still have the flexibility to add another Wr in the draft . If u draft 3 this yr u can forget that possiblity. Adding 2 Wrs in the draft would give us 4 wrs that can play . I rather give the 2 rookies more snaps then have to share it with 3. It's already hard enough for rookie Wrs to develop the more snaps they get the better. There's also free agency hopefully we can add Devin Duvernay from Ravens to be our Wr #5 & KR/PR guy. I believe Duvernay can play a Deebo type role for us he has the skill set to get him involved on Jet Sweeps, Wr Screens , Slants & RB plays. The Ravens would use Duvernay in that role and he flourished but this last yr with the new coordinator they didn't use him much in that capacity.
  12. That's over board we need 2Wrs tops in this draft. I love Franklin though he reminds of a bigger faster Justin Jefferson
  13. Mooney only if he's cheap if his salary reaches past 6mil I'm out on that rather play a rookie in front of him for cheap let him work out his bumps threw out the season just like Rice in KC this last season. I would love Duvernay as a kick return / punt return spealist that plays the Deebo role on offense. Give him some handoffs, Wr screens & Jet Sweeps he's very dangerous doing those things and defenses have to account for him when he's on the field. I truly believe the Ravens didn't use Duvernay the right way and there's some hidden impact there with him. A 3mil a yr deal would be ideal for him.
  14. I think Jeremy Chinn would also be a great signing for the Bills on a reasonable deal. He's taylor made for this defense. I would like to see a combo of Stone and Chinn on this defense.
  15. Plus Diggs bad deal which btw his extension is starting this coming yr and they already want him out. That's a horrible look for Beane. Also Beane has missed on several picks at the top of the draft that's coming home to roost as well.
  16. They don't get rid of Bass he just signed a massive extension for a kicker and would cost more to cut then to keep.
  17. When it comes to any of these Wrs that should be there when we draft at #28 none of them are finished products. We heard the same talk for Deebo, AJ Brown & DK when they were coming out and that's part of the reason they were 2nd Rd picks. Leggette has massive potential and even though he's not a finished product by any means he can still be a huge part of our offense as a rookie . Really it just depends on Brady and knowing when and how to use him. Obviously u want to start him out with the things he can do which are Wr Screens , Vertical routes and slants get him in space and let his talents take over. A player of Leggette talent won't hit his peak till around year 3 but by then he can reasonably be a top 10 Wr in the NFL. Leggette reminds alot of Eric Moulds when he was coming out bk in 96 it took him a couple yrs to really get going but once he did he was top 5 in the league. The Bills need to swing big we need Alpha dogs and Leggette can be that guy.
  18. I would love Duggar or Winfield Jr but in think they are too pricey for us. That's why I didn't add them to the list.
  19. 2 is enough when u think about the other weapons we have on this team moving forward with Kincaid & Shakir and we should have Diggs for 1 more yr. This draft is loaded probably the best in yrs when it comes to nearly every position. So yes drafting a couple Wrs in top 5 rds with 1 in first 2 rounds then one in rds 3-5 would be ideal. Otherwise draft BPA threw out the rest of the draft. The Bills need to add at least 15 rookies this yr so if that means we have 10pks we have to put a heavy emphasis on undrafted free agents as well
  20. I would love to see this team really change some of there philosophy on team building and get young. We have to have an off-season where we cut the fat on the cap eat some of these bad contracts by not touching them whatsoever. It's time to take our cap medicine so to speak. 3 players I would not touch there deals are Von, Diggs & Knox the only thing I'm trying to do with these 3 are flat out paycut but if they don't except just keep them on the team for 1 more yr. Obviously were gonna have to restructure and extend some players to get under the cap. It's time to cut bait with Morse, Poyer, Hines, Harty, and Tre extend Dawkins, Taron & Douglas. These moves will open up about 30 mil in cap space. Now the Youth movement begins use free agency to add 2 new Safeties. The safeties market in free agency is loaded this yr u have players like Stone, Chinn, Savage, McKinney, Gardner Johnson & Whitehead available get a pair here and move on. Now we have one of the best bk 7s in the league. The Dline were going to have to draft and use minimal free agent dollars on but if one of these big names shakes loose on the market like Hunter, Burns or someone else of that caliber I would try to sign them using future cap space in 25,26. Basically the plan is to get younger and use the cap space on defense but with that u have to use a couple of high picks on Wrs otherwise the rest of the draft can be BPA . This draft is loaded with talent across the board not a yr to trade up at all if anything u want to move bk and collect more picks. It would no doubt be fun watching a youth movement on this team. If I was Beane I would imploy a strategy this off-season to have at least 15 players make this team from the draft and undrafted free agents. So if that means putting a heavy emphasis on using high bonus money after the draft to get the better undrafted free agents that's fine because we can solidify the back end of our roster with cheap cost controlled players that are under contract for multiple yrs and employing this strategy would fix our cap situation for upcoming seasons. They'll be some definte bumps on the road to development of these players and they will make mistakes but the Bills would benefit greatly in the future by employing this strategy.
  21. I don't believe this to be the universal sentiment amongst all Bills fans. Yes Diggs has preformed at a high level in his 4yrs as a Bill but when u consider he's already declining along with the yr we traded for Diggs was a really strong yr in the draft for Wrs u come to the realization that was another blunder by Beane. With all that being said when u factor in the salary he received that helped put us in the cap situation we are in now instead of having a player like Jefferson or Higgins on a cost control deal and having one of them for the foreseeable future. When u add it all up Diggs cost us a 1st and 4th and salary cap space to have for basically 4yrs that's almost just as bad as drafting a player and losing him after 4yrs so essentially he was rental player not going to help us moving forward.
  22. I guess u don't like facts! Instead u want to try to insult someone for laying them out for you. Every big move outside of Josh Allen that Beane has made has backfired from Von to throwing multiple high picks in the trash. I'll give him this he did a much better job in last yrs draft at the top with the Kincaid and O'Cyrus picks hopefully this is a sign of things to come
  23. I loved Reader as well that yr. I agree Sweat will go in the 2nd Rd.
  24. Everyone has an opinion. I don't agree with your take . The fact is he's been horrible in the top rounds picking average at best players and having no feel for the strength or value of the draft. His best pick was Josh Allen but outside of that he's not drafted a single difference maker. Oliver is probably his best pk outside of Allen but hasn't and wasn't even the best player at his position in that draft Simmons, Wilkins & Lawrence have all had better careers so far. Beane does get better starting in the 3rd round I'll give him that but he's been brutality bad in the first 2rds of the draft. Trading up for Elam and Cody are prime examples of his lack of patience during the draft . Say what u want but facts are facts and Beane has not done a good job during the money rds of the draft and this team is paying for it.
  25. He's not old enough! 😂
