Where was the defensive adjustment on Puka Nakua?
Jauronimo replied to 26TrapDraw's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hell of a performance last night from the unstoppable Rams. -
Half the roster had career years in scoring. Skinner was out of Krueger's doghouse and had one of his bigger seasons, with a scoring % of 14.5%. Tage exploded with 47 goals and a 15% scoring % (hes shooting 19% this year!). Tuch had a career year with 36 goals and 16.5% shooting %. Tuch's next best year was 22 goals. Cozens netted 31 and was scoring on 14.7% of his shots and hasn't sniffed 10% since. He scored 18 last year. Tage is the only guy listed who has come close to performing at the same level. Our Power Play was top third in the league in 2022-2023 instead of nearly dead last. We are getting much better goal tending and the defense is playing considerably better but the results are pretty much the same as the year we almost made the playoffs. In 2022-2023 we also had a nice 10 game losing streak in Nov-Dec so maybe we are back to that level?

It was a listless first period, a so-so second, and I thought they played an excellent 3rd period but by that point one fluky goal and they were pretty much sunk. Too many chances allowed and too many chances for without enough to show for it. Losing 8 games in a row when 7 were at home is typical of a team that insists on doing everything the hard way. Accountability has arrived. Doesn't look like it suits them any better than whatever Granato was running. I don't think its the coaching.

Opinions on this wonderful 2024 Bills season at 10-3

I don't think KC is making it out of the divisional the way they are playing right now. Its a dangerous way to live. -
You're joining the mob? Yikes. I disagree. Do you think that is the only reason Eberflus was dismissed?
-
You think what McD did was worse than these examples...ok
-
Heres a recent example of egregious clock management you can familiarize yourself with while I find some Cowboys highlights. Found the one I was thinking of but there were several this year alone.

Getting colder.
-
Nope. Would you like to try again?

I'll just leave this here. https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2019/1/18/18185839/andy-reid-kansas-city-chiefs-clock-mismanagement-timeouts

Watch a Cowboys game. Any one will do.

Belichick has taken the UNC job. I think you can shut this one down. -

Nothing says super fan like already predicting a playoff loss. -

Giving up on a season at 10-3 is wild. Could you imagine sharing a foxhole with OP? -

Blocking downfield before the pass was caught? -
My wife and I are putting her soul cat of 17 years down today.
Jauronimo replied to Draconator's topic in Off the Wall
Very sorry to hear that. The worst day of the year in our household and one of the saddest days of my life was when we had to say goodbye to my wife's first cat Milo a few months ago. Pets are a blessing but its a little cruel that we can have such great friends that do not live as long as we do. -
An absolute disaster by the coaches at the end of this game
Jauronimo replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Its a fine topic for conversation. If McD had handled the clock perfectly our chances of winning or tying that game were still remote. Which is why I'm not too bent out of shape. But I understand for others this is a continuing concern about our coaching and situational football. -
Bills only had 9 players on the field for the final punt
Jauronimo replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Its good to see that they have learned their lesson after having 12 guys on the field for the Denver FG attempt last year. -
Thanks, Ethan.

No one is interested in the opinions of people who do not care whether there is a team in town. Politely ***** off to another forum. Respected as what? Is that your motivation in sports? Respect from other fans or talking heads? Nonsense.

That was by the far the best offensive performance the Rams have managed with Puka and Stafford ever.
