On one hand, Rapp has been terrible. But on the other hand, if we had a better option one would think he would be out there. My position is that I am cautiously terrified for our secondary.

Any Mafia folks know where to get a good cheesesteak in Philly?

The Detroit goal scorer was surrounded by Blue jerseys that were all close enough to make a play but were watching the puck and not anticipating. It strange how often the Sabres are in a solid position defensively but fail to impact the play. Its less strange that they find themselves wildly out of position and giving up breakaways but Ellis looked calm as could be when called upon. Team defense is definitely improving in year 2 of Lindy's term but there are things to clean up.

Joe Marino's 9 point plan for improvement

Its true, JoeMa is the best in the LockedDown biz. I have completely stopped listening to my wife and kids in favor of JoeMa. -
Give him more WR screens out of trips. He and Shakir produced in that formation last year.

You did not draw an inference. You claimed AI predicted a decline in a player's performance when Google had only presented you the definition of reversion to the mean. Reversion to the mean does not happen over a defined timeline. Taylor Hall won an MVP before settling back into what he always was. Reversion to the mean is not some physical law of the universe. Here's my "inference": Google AI just predicted that your prediction is incorrect:

It looked like it was going to go off the rails early between the slow start in period 1 and the stupid challenge by Ruff on the Senators second goal. The fans really woke up after Ruff's challenge was unsuccessful and channeled all their frustrations at the officials. Had Ottawa scored on the next 4 minutes of power play and the short 2 man advantage there might have been a riot. I know everyone in the world thought another heart breaking collapse was coming when Ottawa scored 2 quick goals early in the 3rd. I did. 3rd goal was a little lucky and a crazy tip in. 1 out of 100 might go in but Ottawa's 4th goal was an inexcusable lapse in communication between Dahlin and Timmins. The epic bed pooping was on. Positives: Two pivotal moments in this game and the Sabres kept their composure long enough for McLeod to deliver two huge goals. There is a lot to like about the Doan - Tuch - McLeod line. Doan isn't the greatest player but I love his game. He is tough to play against and has a little bit of offensive potential. Benson was immediately noticeable. Some puck luck Negatives Puck luck, lots of it. Giving up 4 goals. Maybe the second one was goaltender interference and maybe the 3rd one was lucky but still. This team is not going to score 5 goals a night even with Norris, Kesselring, and Greener in the lineup. They probably lose that game 7 times out of 10. The advanced stats that I barely understand say we got lucky. https://www.naturalstattrick.com/

You play the teams on your schedule. There are no asterisks next to the Pats and Colts achievements for playing in weak divisions. -

I think "any decent coach" can have one or maybe two 12 win seasons with Allen and the rosters that we have had. I do not think too many coach GM combos can sustain the level of excellence we have seen for 7 years. Look at Philadelphia. Super Bowl caliber roster that is on the verge of falling apart multiple times under Sirianni. I'd trade 4 more years of 12 win seasons for one Lombardi and 3 years of underperformance but the Lombardi is hardly guaranteed just by changing the staff. Any new staff will want to bring in a new system and turn over the roster. In the modern NFL that can take as little as one offseason or it can be 2 to 3 years. If there ever was a time to totally overhaul the roster, it is this offseason. -

Can you take any GM and have the 8 year run the Bills have had? The overwhelming issue right now is talent and injuries, not coaching. -
The offense consistently sucked for all 60 minutes. Might as well forfeit.

He wasn't on the field for any 3rd downs. Johnson is better at blitz pickup so we took our second biggest threat on offense off the table.
