It's the alternator without a doubt. Had it happen to a few of POS cars I owned in my late teens, early 20s. THere's really no preventive maintenance for it, parts wear out. You can probably get a rebuilt one. I've actually installed one myself, but if you really have no experience with mechanical issues, just let the professionals handle it.

It's funny, he's actually one of my favorite Bills of all time. Met him when I was 9 or 10 at Hills Dept Store in Jimmytown when he was signing autographs. He came to our school a couple times for those games where the Bills players would play against the teachers of the local school too! I always tried to get No. 38 when I played midget and high school football, until the coach told me those were fullback numbers. I really like Jeff and am glad to see he adapted to retired life so well and stayed active in the local community.

Would you be referring to the tard fest that would occur here, in the media or at practice amongst the players? The word tard fest leads me to believe you meant the former?
