  1. Speaking of, I heard Hardy Nickerson bought a place in Laurel, MD and he's opening up a crab shack.
  2. ... and now for something completely different: It's 51 degrees here today and rainy.
  3. Wow, I guess this is a "What can you do for me" kind of day for beerbawl huh?
  4. He would probably have to check it through just like golf clubs, but that's fine if does that, I mean he's getting the bat for me!
  5. Mingia, do you ever think of anybody besides yourself?
  6. I know, I took the tour and stuff when I was there about 10 years ago. I hope beerball takes my advice and picks me up a personalized bat. Selfish bastage probably won't though...
  7. They had something like 125 confirmed cases here at the AF Academy a couple weeks ago. So they have those infected in a quarantined area with painters masks on... I don't know about you, but those painters masks don't exactly give the feeling of safety. Once classes start back up in a week, I'm sure it will start spreading all over again. Once I get it, I'll post what to expect so you all will know the warning signs! Fuggin place...
  8. I hate how the Brits say the word aluminum... Al-you-min-um.
  9. 1 XL please. Thanks!
  10. Go buy a few baseball bats.
  11. Robin Leach's Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous is Steely Dan's favorite show! He still watches the old VHS recordings he made back in the 1980s!!!
  12. Beerball went to Silver Creek High School, which in and of itself is a dead end school!
  13. The juke box at the local golf course we play at (Springs RANCH) has a couple songs by the group "Cake." DOUBLE POINTS!!!!
  14. Happy birthday to both of you... Tim, I know you take a lot heat around here sometimes... enjoy a cold one on me today! apushms, I hardly knew ye, but HBD nonetheless.
  15. Jesus H. Keyriste, we got ourselves a friggin triple play here!!!
  16. I got chills watching that. Seeing the sound baffles hanging down like leftover Christmas decorations on a tree from for some reason is the image that I'll take away from the Aud teardown. Being from the far southern tier, I didn't make it to the Aud as much as a lot of you, but I have a lot of fond memories of that place just the same. Thanks for posting ricojes!
  17. Happy 40th Kiwi!
  18. Thanks for the recipe fellow parrothead! I'm marinading some chicken in some Chiavettas I brought back from my trip to NY last week. I'm going to whip up a batch of this stuff and try it on the chicken tonight. My son and a buddy of his will be eating dinner at the house tonight, so regardless of the taste, I know the chicken will get eaten up pretty quickly. If I have some leftover sauce (which judging by the measurements I will) I may try it on ribs this weekend as well.
  19. Like it has been said here already Cribbs, in my opinion, falls under the "very good" category versus "wall of fame" material. Also: Cribbs isn't on the Wall of Fame, because we aren't the Denver Broncos... I swear they put it seems like they put every friggin guy who ever made a tackle for a loss or scored a single touchdown on thier ring of fame.
  20. Was it a retread Cornelius Bennett jersey was it? At one point, I ended up "stuck" with one of those after he switched to 97. I think I ended up donating it to our high school "scout team" to use when they wanted to identify our oppenents "key" defender. I had/have a Bryce Paup jersey somewhere, I think it's an armourall rag now.
  21. As you and I discussed a little over a week ago, dealing with this type of thing is never easy on anyone who is close to the relative who is sick. The important thing I learned is to be there for the family that is left. I found some of my relatives had a tough time coping with grandma's sickness and subsequent passing. It was important to be there for them as well as the sick family member. Be sure to do some intro-spection first to see how you are doing. My thoughts and prayers are with you WVU. (sorry we couldn't hook up last week when I was home).
  22. Normally, the acronym "nambla" shuts things down pretty quickly.
  23. Chautauqua Institution Allegheny SP, but NOT the High Banks side Panama Rocks, Thunder Rocks Downtown Falconer... I keeeeed, I keeeeeeed!!!!
  24. What's goin' on in dis here thread? I go home to WNY for a few days and I miss this epic topic?
  25. Fuggin awesome... gotta reconnect in Chicago. Guess I'll be "that guy" and carry my luggage with me then. Got room at the Chateau Beerball for this evening then? (nothing like showing up for a funeral hungover tomorrow)
