I agree with the lack of footwork. The weird part is everything I’ve read says he’s an exceptional athlete. He’s got this training camp to show better footwork. I wonder if being 6’8” will hurt him at guard. Too tall and seems too upright in his stance.

Playoff games are paid separate of the contract. He was essentially a free agent, with no guarantee other than the playoff check. From what I’ve read, he would have earned around $42k. Some here question his character and/or his intelligence. That was a smart move. If you reply that you would have played because you are a high character guy, you’re either lying or dumb as 💩. Think about it, if you get hurt, I guarantee your teammates that you fought for won’t pony up the potential $$ you would lose. Maybe they’ll start a gofundme for you.

I get your point and frustration, but the idea the organization failed miserably? I see that as a tad extreme. There are 32 nfl franchises and we’re seen as a top 3-5 organization by “professional “ pundits. We’re on the right track. We’ll be one of the favorites next season by those pundits. As we should.

Watching the Jags vs. Chiefs playoff game, I found it strange after the injury to Mahomes' ankle that the next drive was a TD drive by Chad Henne and the announcers praised Reid and did not mention Eric, at all. I didn't know it was Andy calling plays. If true, that's a real problem for someone looking for a HC gig and is essentially a clip board holder.
