He made his point when he started the thread and let others debate over a point he made. What’s the need to argue with you? Maybe he doesn’t want to rehash his original post. Maybe your opinion isn’t as important to him as it obviously is to you. Maybe you’re just not that important to him. You appear to be butt hurt he’s not engaging in your “debate “. Instead of being an ass with your assumption, you can always just move on to a “better “ poster. Some people are full of themselves.

The post I replied to was not anywhere near giving credit to Beane for bringing in Josh. Quite the opposite. I replied strictly to the insinuation that Beane is lucky to have Josh. That’s total 💩. Some of the mob loses their minds and keeps bringing up without Josh, we would be lucky to win 6 games. Tell that to Cincy, KC, Philly and any team with a top qb. Ok , we haven’t won a SB and the mob has the pitchforks out. But the idea that Beane is lucky to have Josh is just asinine. And now you reply to my post and take it somewhere I didn’t go. Nothing in your reply to me had anything to do with what I said. Nothing. The mob needs to calm the eff down. You start spewing nonsense to me in response to my post. I know my response is rather lengthy, but the thread was meant to be a positive thread. But the mob takes over, even though there are plenty of negative threads to jump on. Just eff the positive threads, the mob is pissed. like a bunch of selfish richards: “how dare anyone be positive hear at Toxic Bills Drive!? Josh didn’t just knock on the door and say “hey Beane. I’m here to save you”. No, Beane drafted Josh. Kinda rich how some of you mention this without giving Beane credit for, you know, actually drafting him.

They weren’t fun. I think the fact that I moved to FSU territory in ‘89 helped. I’m a big fan of the Noles. I moved here at the beginning of a 18-20 year run. True story: bar hopping with buddies in the mid nineties while wearing a Bills shirt when a dude wearing Giants gear decided to talk call me a loser. Offered to buy him a drink. He declined in typical ####### fashion and was booed out of the bar by just about everyone in there. Again, I think having FSU football to root for helped. I’m 56 in April, maybe I’ve seen that sports is cyclical and I really need to enjoy the good times. And to me, these are good times. We’re fun to watch and we have as good a chance as any other team to win it next year. Every team has holes. Every GM misses on picks. Pacheco is a great story, but don’t forget he replaced a 1st round bust at rb. It happens. Always take the field and it makes it easier. GO EFFING BILLS!!!

A positive thread triggers the mob and you blame the OP. I guess if we like something we should just stfu cuz ,ohh no, the pissed off folks will get even more triggered. Zeke played it perfectly. He was being used and abused and wanted to get paid before the "wall" issue crept up. RBs, get discarded, for the most part after being used up. Zeke was proactive in this regard. He played Jerry Jones brilliantly. Good for him. Edit: the fact that he got "I'm the smartest GM" Jerry to pay him, makes it even better in my view. Jerry should have consulted his old "buddy" Jimmy Johnson on this. Jimmy would have laughed at Jerry for even thinking of paying Zeke.

So, are we sure Gilmore hasn't done the same in a game? I know damn well no one here has seen every game Gilmore has played in. In the end Gilmore was a solid pick.

Someone needs to relay the message to Josh. It’s like he thinks sliding is for the weak. He doesn’t have to try running over people. Even if he can. He’s not a robot.

The Bears have film on Edmunds from his college days through this past season. They know what they’re getting and have a plan to use his talents how they see best. People here acting like the Bears will be surprised with what he can and can’t do is just plain dumb.

Lucky for him he’s played in a ton of big games already. We’re 4-3 in the playoffs the last 3 seasons. Where’ve you been the last few years? Before you bring up SB’s, most players don’t make to one, don’t do it. Time to get paid and he did. When he’s retired I’m his early 30’s, that money is going to look really good. Happy for him.
