  1. The fire is on the east side of Route 5, not the large portion of the old plant on the lake. It's right next to residential homes.
  2. 4-2-2 on the road, 1-3-1 at home. So bizarre, team plays lifeless at home.
  3. It really isn't. Well, unless we get to play Brissett, Keenum, and Kaepernick again.
  4. The quality of the game after the fact has nothing to do with ratings. The Bills aren't a big draw, and even Seattle hasn't been a compelling team this year.
  5. The guy's a damn good coach.
  6. 7-9 is what I predicted before the season, but under no circumstances would I call that a successful campaign.
  7. This could have career implications. That guy is one tough SOB, but he is on the wrong side of 30.
  8. Best game he's had so far.
  9. Very bizarre. Al & Chris completely missed that too.
  10. Less fans are willing to sell their seats.
  11. Yeah, a million bucks to get off your couch and work for 2 months is a pretty good gig if you can get it.
  12. I'm not so sure about that, I think quite a few expected to see this defense.
  13. Terrell Owens just tweeted he's available. (seriously)
  14. Maybe Andre Reed.
  15. Your odds improve the earlier you draft a QB, that fact is undeniable. You can't get gunshy just because you whiffed on a 1st rounder. Allow me to preemptively address some of our more hyperbolic posters -- no, this doesn't imply 1st round QBs are a lock and no, this doesn't mean draft a QB in the 1st round every year,
  16. Very possible, the Chandler Jones trade reinforces your theory.
  17. It's entirely based on how much money he gets, and how much he gets in relation to other free agents. There are about 5 UFAs poised to get more money than him next year. The Browns (or any team) need to have a net loss in FA to be eligible for comp picks.
  18. It's more like a 4th, I doubt he gets the money to make him worth a 3rd round pick. Plus they wouldn't get the pick until 2018. Edited: now I'm reading they traded for Cleveland's comp pick in 2017.
  19. Getting 2 comp picks in 2016 doesn't invalidate my point. Try again. Rex wasn't here for the past 4 years either. It's still more likely to happen than Gilmore getting traded.
  20. The front office hasn't demonstrated that they even have a rudimentary understanding of how the NFL compensatory system works. 5 of their last 6 top picks have been on defense. Rex loves DB's.
  21. Letting Gilmore walk, bringing in a net gain of FAs in the offseason and not getting a comp pick for him, then drafting a CB in the 1st round is likely the game plan for this front office.
  22. It's true. To me this season was never about wins or losses or trying to squeak into the playoffs as a pretender. It was about TT and if he could prove he's our guy. It's just not happening. Unfortunately, he's just good enough to keep the coach and GM from getting fired, so he's going to be here 2 more years. Drink up.
  23. That's ridiculous, they aren't even close to the tank teams. It was a frustrating loss for sure, Dubnyk was fantastic in net and Nilsson looked the part of a backup. If they keep outshooting teams 38 - 22 they will be fine.
