  1. I'm not a huge fan, but I wouldn't mind if they were able to play around with the uniform a little more. The whole, "no more changing helmets because of concussions" bit really puts a damper on any drastic changes.
  2. It's almost like the OP went out of his way to make sure every point was an incomplete sentence. I couldn't understand any of it.
  3. Even when we had Watkins healthy, he was criminally underused. With Taylor, the other team isn't game planning for an aerial attack.
  4. Peterman impressed me with the way he stepped up in the pocket and made throws over the middle. I'd like to see more of him in the preseason and have him develop on the roster as QB2. We all know that we're going to draft a top QB, but it's nice to have this guy in the mix.
  5. The problem with this post is that it labels everyone that criticizes Tyrod as a detractor. I want him to succeed, but he doesn't inspire much hope. Taylor is the definition of, "he is what he is." I've seen no progress. All of my initial concerns are still there: Gives up on routes too early Doesn't lead receivers well Ignores the middle of the field Comes up small late in games Makes limited pre-snap read Without a doubt there are a few exceptions, but that's enough for me to understand what I've got at QB. By no means does that make me a detractor, I'm just being realistic. His athletic ability can dazzle and he doesn't lose many games all on his own, but he's not a franchise QB.
  6. Haha what exactly are my evil ideologies?
  7. Had to look this up. It will be his sixth season.
  8. You're a terrible person.
  9. Priceless.
  10. I might be in the minority, but I think McKelvin is still skilled enough to play another season in the NFL as a Dime CB.
  11. Probably the most insane "yes, but" I've ever read.
  12. What were they counter-protesting again? Did you say...Nazis and White Supremacists? Oh...that's right. Your post almost made me forget which side stood, quite literally, for hate. Also, I'm not your dude. You're unable to look at this situation without blatantly condemning hate groups. If you're all for peacefully assembling, then I'm curious your thoughts on the Neo-Nazis that committed murder at the protest. Find me a credible source. I saw you posted a screen cap of one and either deleted it or got it deleted. The flyer you posted was fake by the way. I also want to point out how disgusting it is the lengths you're going to in order to try and make those counter-protesters sound like evil scum...when they're up against Neo-Nazis and White Supremacists. Edit: Deleted part that was double posted.
  13. Who's hatefulness? The people protesting the white nationalists (the ones that chanted hate speech the night before as they marched in support of a confederate statue)? Get real. Newsflash: Only one side is spewing hate. Trump is an idiot for confusing that fact. I'm sorry if you feel too scared to voice your concern about the "leftist anarchists" without sounding like a bigoted fool.
  14. Mature. Earlier you were trying to play it off like Trump was just poorly conveying his opinion that violence is evil. As if that's really even a position to be had here. There's a lot of debate about to be had about the press conference, but it's wrong to tell me that he doesn't believe what he said. Trump equated those against white nationalists to white nationalists. That press conference made me sick.
  15. 100% agree.
  16. Tasker is clinging onto that third wheel status.
  17. I'm not looking past the Jets Week 1 and if there's anything I can gleam about McDermott's style (as opposed to Rex's) the team won't either.
  18. I've read that this takes 8-10 weeks to heal. Pain tolerance or not...why are they reporting week-to-week and playing it off like it's nothing? They're setting up for a big, drawn-out disaster here, and I can't help but feel like it's karma for such a terrible trade.
  19. Amen to that. We got a shiny new toy and had absolutely no idea what to do with it.
  20. I definitely don't care if they showcased him. I'm not even that concerned with how they've explained it, even if untrue, but I just think it's possible that they wildly underrated Watkins. One thing that bothers me... if these guys can just showcase him at will like that, then how come we never really did that his whole career?
  21. I've thought about all of that, and I definitely think that McDermott may have completely underestimated Sammy Watkins' ability. I get it, he's been hurt, but it seems like McDermott made up his mind back in the offseason while Watkins was still recovering.
  22. Very possible that we needed to showcase Watkins to prove he's healthy and ready to go before LA would agree to any trade. Beane lied. You did a good job of describing why. There ain't no way in heck that he pulled the trigger on a trade like that without a lot of discussions with McDermott, and the timing just doesn't work out for any other explanation. The bigger issue... is this a problem? I'm inclined to say that it's not, but I am not giving these guys the benefit of the doubt at all. A lot of people are saying things like, "of course he lied," but I see no reason to do so. He could have just declined to comment on the timeline. One thing I do know... there's no way to spin this trade as helping out the team "now".
  23. Aside from McCoy those all read as pretty standard sports answers. Don't let me stop you from digging further though. The truth is out there...
