Which Jim Kelly Jersey to Purchase?
jumbalaya replied to KellyToTasker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Take you money for the jersey and send it to cancer research. That would be the most important thing you could do for Jim. -
Rams, Raiders jockey for return to SoCal
jumbalaya replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Rams should not go anywhere except: 1. The out of town owner bought a parcel of land in LA that will house a football complex. 2. The Rams are number three in fan base in STL behind the Blues and Cards. 3. The STL Dome sucks for football. 4. Tailgate facilities are among the worst in the league. 5. The name belongs in LA, or Cleveland, where it began. -

You call all bust on Fitz as much as you like but Fitz played better than any other QB that we have had in over 5 years including EJ. -

Taylor Lewan Charged With Assault?
jumbalaya replied to BIllsNation's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The crime was against a young woman. The university and football staff involved should be held accountable. Unless and until those in positions of power are held personally accountable for actions and inaction this climate of abuse will continue. Nonetheless the Bills will draft Lewan if Robinson and Matthews are gone. -
Yes he is a third round pick and so was Joe Montana. Grab him and win.

Irsay is just another hypocritical rich religious god Is my co-pilot slug. time for people to get god out of football (as well as politics). jesus doesn't give a rats ass who wins football games on Sunday, he has nothing do with some guy getting an interception or running for 100 yards. to believe otherwise is an insult to his teaching. besides everyone knows jesus is a soccer fan.

What O=line players still out there?
jumbalaya replied to Ed_Formerly_of_Roch's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wood is a first round pick, Glenn is a second round pick with first round grades. Williams is #1, Hairston is a 4th, Urbik I believe is a 2nd or 4rd, while Pears fall off a tree. That sounds like building a line around elite talent. You don't need five #1 picks. Look at the Pats. They are a group of non-elite talents that is the most talented line in football. -

good luck Jim -
Seems to be: re-work the defense by signing solid FA vet CB and MLB (Spikes). Bring in an average starting OLB Rivers. Byrd replaced by Searcy/Meeks. We now have all the starters in place, and can draft late rounders for depth and ST. Brought a younger below average G to replace an older below average G. Hope he develops. Resigned Chandler as stop gap TE. Moeaki and Caussin are maybe's Will add WR and RT in round 1& 2 as these are two deep positions. TE and LB in rd 3/4. Pray that EJ emerges.

The Bills are doing an excellent job in Free Agency
jumbalaya replied to 1B4IDie's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We have to quit banking on guys that have a chip on their shoulder. If he didn't have it in his first 5 years he won't all of a sudden get it. i don't buy this argument. -

should have kept him last year. this year no. -
Scott chandler re signs with Bills
jumbalaya replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This means no Ebron at #9. Its Evans or the T from Michigan if he falls. If we take Evans we grab a RT in RD 2 and a safety in rd 3. If we take the T first we grab a WR in rd 2 and safety in rd 3 and LB in rd 4. Then we hope EJ doesn't bust. -
Revis a Patriot / Bucs cut Revis

It will be just that more satisfying when we beat a Pats team with Brady and Reevis. Hopefully it will happen this decade. -

Saying its good that the bills brought in two former number one picks is nothing more than polishing a turd. Williams was the worst OL player on a bad Rams Oline. Kind of reminds me of the Legursky signing. Legursky could not break into a bad Pitt Oline but we plug him as a started, now we plug in this guy? Keith has underperformed everywhere he has been. Tell me why you would not take his 2.5 and apply that to Byrd a pro bowl player. You could back fill Keith an UDFA rookie and not lose any production. After five years in the league it doesn't matter where a guy was drafted, it matters if he is a player. Graham is a good signing and means we don't need to draft a DB very high, but we do have to draft a safety by round 3. I am also glad they resigned Carpenter but again if you take the $MM's to sign him, add it to Keith's $2.5 annual cost you have at least half of Byrd's salary! And we have Hokins still on the roster to replace Carpenter. -
70% of Giants fan said to dump him. Moats looks like he would be an upgrade over Rivers. $5MM? Seems like a huge number for no production.

Bills Free Agents Updates
jumbalaya replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
National commentary calls this an unimpressive signing. Others on national media wonder how this guys gets a job. Bills overspend on this but won't overspend on Byrd an all-pro. Bizzaro. -
Approval Poll: F.O.'s Handling of Byrd
jumbalaya replied to johnwalter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can't believe so many approved. This has been a fiasco since last year. Everyone must swallow the same swill when we lost Winfield, Williams, Whitner, Poz, Greer, Levitre, Peters, Lynch...the list is endless The Bills stand-by excuse that the masses continually buy into....we did our best, but could not pay that much for that position. It's lack of foresight, poor planning and fumbled execution.
