EJ/ Roethlisberger comparison from Whaley
jumbalaya replied to Bocephuz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
fact is with EJ is we just don't know. We will know in three years. He will be better this year if he stays healthy, how much better depends on those around him and especially, Hackett, who is my mind, thinks he is smarter than he really his. He wants a young offense to dictate. I don't think that they will be there for two more years. We need ball control and to take time off the clock and give the defense a rest. Hackett wants to go go go. You cannot have ball control and both. The KGun never did. -
Dareus not cleared to practice yet

Dareus is showing he is a world class clown. He is busting before our eyes. -
So, no Goodwin when we travel to Denver it seems...
jumbalaya replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dareus is looking like he will have another bust year. Sounds like Glenn could miss the season. Henderson can't last an hour. Goodwin is down. Kiko is gone. This team is imploding before our eyes. -
Five flashiest cars at Bills camp

not surprised about Freddie's ride, he is all about family. a pro's pro. -
Here's how we save the Bills if they're sold to JBJ
jumbalaya replied to ThurmasThoman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ron Jaworski can jonvon blowme if he doesn't think JBJ is intent on moving this team across the river. -
My uneducated belief is that the hip injury he suffered forced him into adjustments that ultimately affected his knee. Not unlike Dizzy Dean who came back too early from a big toe injury that forced him to alter his throwing style and led to him blowing out his arm and ending his career.

Marcell Dareus has not been arrested again yet. (7/22)
jumbalaya replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don't sign him, wait till it's too late and we can't afford him, than trade him for a 3rd to 5th round pick because big, strong, young, talented DTs are easy to replace. -
you can't fix stupid but... .09?1? It may be over the legal limit but it's hardly intoxicated. 20,000 cars pour out every stadium every game day higher than .09. Heck, I am .09 after my first cup of coffee every morning. And suspensions for weed is ridiculous while nothing in place to even test HGH. As long as the illegal drugs make the players bigger and faster let's look the other way. But recreational marijuana costs four games and then a year? Again, you can't fix stupid but stupid starts at the top with Roger, the owners and the NFLPA.

Peition on change.org for stadium on Lackawanna waterfront

Why does the Federal Govt have to clean up the brown fields? Why should the federal gov't knock down the grain elevators? Shouldn't big business or the City and State be responsible for what happened here? -
We haven't stopped the run since the Music City fiasco. With or without Kiko, until we can stop the run this team will go nowhere. We need to see that on the field and not read about what the board thinks we have or don't. This team is several years away from being an offensive juggernaut that can simply outscore everyone. I also have the feeling that Hackett would rather lose with a quick tempo offense than win by playing smart football.

Jabrari Greer unsure if he'll play again
jumbalaya replied to dr.fishopolis's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's always better to not pay proven veterans and let them walk then draft unproven replacements that can't play and pay them very little. -
I'm hoping we bottom out this year: 0-16. Here's why.
jumbalaya replied to ThurmasThoman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If we make the playoffs without Kiko, when we get him back for 2015 will be like having the first round pick we gave up for Sammy. -

Just because your brain has diarrhea doesn't mean you have to share the crap with the rest of us. -

CJ Spiller, TJ Graham, Chris Hairston, Tony Moeaki, Nigel Bradham, Ron Brooks are the five guys I see in a put up or shut up year. Spiller must become a star. He's good but he's not great, and certainly has not shown enough to warrant big money. He will not be resigned if you can get 'close enough" production at a third of the price. TJ, if he makes the team, has to do more than 30/300/3 TDs. Hariston has to play every game and play well. Moeaki, like TJ, has to do more than 30/300/3 TDs. Bradham has to start making plays. I am sure watching football games from his spot on defense was exciting last year but now he has to earn that money. Brooks has to become the 5th CB, if not he will not be here next year and maybe not this year. I'd add EJ but if he becomes simply average he will get another year.

Dixon is Freddy's 2015 replacement. Frank is tough but numbers get to him here.

Mario Williams to be on Top 100 tonight

Bills have 25,000 fans at Tampa and the entire team decides to play like **** from the get go. -
So this is the annual preseason thread saying how great we will be and who we will beat. The Buffalo Bills continue to be the best off-season team in history.
-
The Bills are looking at next year for running back. Dixon is a poor man's FJax. Brown is a poor man' Spiller. They both stay this year. One or both make next year if we can't or won't sign CJ and/or Freddie.

2014 Best Bills Year in History
jumbalaya replied to BoccesOnTransit's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
it's better than, ej wins the first three games then he's hurt and out for the year. Thad gets hurt after winning two games. Tuel starts the remainder wins one and Bills finish 6-10, have the number 6 pick but that goes to Cleveland who land a legit starter for the next 15 years. EJ never returns to form but that's okay cause Bon Jovi uses a disillusioned Bills fan base as an excuse and moves the team to Toronto. Buffalonians latch on to UB as the team to follow. -
EJ and all the recent QBs reminds me of an old Alice Cooper song Well we got no choice All the girls and boys Makin all that noise 'Cause they found new toys School's out for summer School's out forever School's been blown to pieces
