  1. I think we are being unfair to EJ. He made his two picks count. One went for a TD and one iced the game. Most of his other passes were so bad they couldn't even be picked off.
  2. 32 passes, 114 yards / 1 TD to Buf players and 80 yards / 1 TD for Hou players 6 completions for 34 yards to WRs. This coaching staff has to reach between their legs and find the sack to make a QB change.
  3. My coaches said I played well.
  4. We all need to stop picking on EJ. Give him time. Lots and lots of time.
  5. EJ Can't / won't throw down field Horribly inaccurate when he does Several 15 yard passes to Woods could have landed him in the hospital Most of our yards in the passing game are YAC, yet our WR overage under 13 yards per catch meaning they get the ball between the LOS and 5 yards on either side of it No need for a 3rd, 4th or 5th WR as there are not enough balls thrown to #1 & #2. Locks on to the first guy and makes no progressions Before he got his bell rung, Goodwin was averaging about 5 targets a year, if he doesn't get slaughtered every time, he might have caught 1 or 2 on the season. Bills use the speed of their skill players to run a three yards and a cloud of dust offense! But OMG, don't consider using Kyle Orton?!?!?!?
  6. You have to stop making excuses for this guy. The wind was blowing? The other team was rushing hard? Our receivers did not know where to go? Everything is wrong but EJ? Please stop. Any competitive QB would have had this team in contention to win this game. It was a home against a good team but we are also a good team. EJ can't get past his first read and he has limited awareness in the pocket. He has neither down field vision nor medium throw accuracy nor willingness to throw down field. He didn't throw down field against the Chargers till the game was completely lost and then he was horribly off target and that had nothing to do with the wind. Watkins & Woods had stopped looking for the ball by then. I never saw all the receivers just up and quit on their QB like that. Sammy is the only guy he threw to against the Dolphins. Williams only has 5 catches in three games. Hogan, Goodwin and Easley don't have a catch this year -- none! Goodwin the fast guy is thrown to behind the line of scrimmage where he gets lit up like a Xmas tree. Please just send him deep once and heave it. You can look at all the tape you want. Try watching the game. EJ stunk. He was bad in the Chicago game too. He is a helluva nice guy, smart, hard worker, willing to do what it takes and all that, but he is just not a good QB. I thought he was a great choice over Geno but watching Geno changed my mind. Geno has game. Geno has growing issues but he is a competitor and will only get better. The only progress in EJ's game has been backwards. JJ will eat EJ alive Sunday. Here are some excuses you can get ready to use: Richardson is a rookie guard and it was his first start, the receivers were unfamiliar with the turf, the OL couldn't hear the snap counts, it was too hot, Houston is a good defense and they wanted it more, he would have had better stats if the receivers caught the ball....
  7. The game will depend on the time of the month for EJ. If he is having his period, he probably won't play well with his hormones acting up and all. Seriously, our offense is so one dimensional without a QB that can/will throw a ball to a WR 10 yards past the line of scrimmage. After all the BS talk about having speed at the wide-out position, how high Williams can jump, Hogan is always open, Goodwin is so fast, Sammy catches everything, Sammy is fast, Sammy is this Sammy is that ... As a unit, they quit at home against San Diego. It's no coincidence that Lee Evans led the veteran charge Sunday. Lee must have showed them how to quit. The Bills WR corp is the absolute worst in the league. Buff WRs - 26 catches 319 yards 1 TD in 3 games. (Watkins 13; Woods 8; Williams 5) (Goodwin, Hogan & Easley -- zero catches)
  8. I'd take Geno Smith in a nano second over EJ.
  9. EJ is so bad at throwing deep that the WRs quit after they run 20 yards downfield because they know the ball won't be there. If EJ's WRs quit on him why should we stay on the bandwagon?
  10. Schwartz is doing a good job. Hackett and Marone not so much. I'm not so sure our QB coach from Detroit who couldn't get Stafford to play well is very good. EJ is regressing.
  11. In his 4th year here, CJ still is not the starter. He may play on the first series but we all know that Freddie is the lead back. If he can't start here he won't garner a top pick.
  12. I thought that by the 4th quarter all of the WRs had quit on EJ. Mostly because EJ sucked so bad. Woods never even bothered to look for the ball thrown a foot or two above his head. He was 15 yards past the line and knew EJ never throws it that far so why bother even looking for it? EJ threw a couple more late in the game 15 to 20 yards deep but the throws were so far off target it was ridiculous. Hogan, Goodwin and Williams get the Casper award, not Dave, Casper the Ghost Award because they are invisible and don't scare anyone. Why bother even playing these guys in the preseason if you never use them in the regular season? Our best hope for the season if for EJ to get hurt because Marone will never admit this mistake until the season is shot to hell.
  13. Geno looks twice the QB that EJ is. He is not afraid to throw downfield, he throws to his WRs, he seems to have a much better grasp of the action on the field, he is more elusive and has a better feel in the pocket. I am sure Geno will learn from his mistakes and continue to get better. EJ is afraid to make mistakes and afraid to play the game, and he is learning nothing. EJ looks worse than Trent Edwards to me.
  14. my teaching golf pro said to put my clubs in the garage for two weeks and then forget about them completely. That applies to EJ.
  15. What we are witnessing is that the AFC East is really bad this year including the Pats. The refs let them beat Oakland. Losing at home to a rookie QB would have ended their season.
  16. Main things wrong with the Bills Offense: 1. EJ Manuel 2. Hackett Hackett builds an offense around hurry-up but relies on a guy that has no giddy-up. He misuses Spiller so much, I'd rather see Spiller on a team that puts him a position that plays to his strengths. He is wasting his career here. Why can't Spiller run downfield and catch a 15 or 20 yard pass? We don't have a QB that can throw a 15 yard pass. EJ is not a fit for his offense. EJ can't run a two minute offense let alone a regular offense or the hurry up. EJ should sit for the year, then, we should cut him in the off-season and forget about him completely.
  17. EJ is not a professional QB and I doubt he will ever make the leap. He doesn't see the field and cannot get the ball accurately. Very slow decision making followed by bad throws. It is time for Kyle Orton. CJ and EJ, two more first round picks that are going down the tubes.
  18. EJ did not look that much different than he did in the first two games. He just had more pressure and when he has pressure he really sucks. This guy does not have major league game. It is time for Kyle Orton or we will be back to 6-10.
  19. The problem with DV cases is not whether they are easy to prove or not. The problem is that in our court system the victims become victims all over again. It is too hard for them. Penalties are too lenient, burden of proof is too hard, enforcement is not consistent. And like everything else, the rich get slapped on the wrist, while the poor serve time. The problem in pro football is that the players are coddled to from high school throughout their adult life. For the most part, colleges do not educate them nor enforce minimum academic standards. The other problem is the side effect that HGH, steroids and other drugs have on these guys. (see OJ). Their brains are fried. Drug testing in the major leagues is designed to catch those that are too stupid to mask what they are doing.
  20. So your first reaction to another woman having the **** beat out of her is that it was probably fabricated. You sir, are a scumbag.
  21. Bitching about the announcers? Go to the game and quit complaining about who announces it. This is classic Buffalo insecurity. It won't ever go away as long as you keep feeding into it. ...we get bad announcers because nobody respects us, we can't get Monday Night Games, cause TV doesn't like the town, we are a small market, we have low employment, our weather is too cold, there are no jobs here, yadda yadda yadda. Y'all whine too much If you want other people's perception of Buffalo to change, start with your own attitude.
  22. Crossman gets the award as the most improved coach so far. Is this turn around due to Coaching Better players They actually practice special teams All of the above.
  23. Jerruh Jones cut the branch from the tree and handed it to Adrian. Said, 'beat the crap out of one of your kids and the Vikes will have to let you go, pick the smallest kid." Jerruh also taught Ray Rice how to box.
  24. In the first two weeks: Buffalo beat the Bears on the road. The Bears beat SF on the road. SF beat Dallas on the road. Dallas beat Tennessee on the road. Tennessee beat the Chiefs on the road. The Chiefs barely lost to Denver on the road. Denver beat Indy at home. Buffalo dominated the Dolphins at home. The Dolphins beat the Patriots at home. The Patriots beat the Vikings on the road. The Vikings beat the Rams on the road. The Rams beat the Bucs on the road. The Bucs lost a close game at home to Carolina. Carolina beat the Falcons. The Falcons beat the Saints. Looks to me we can go undefeated and straight to the Super Bowl
  25. He is Trent Edwards to me until he can throw it down-field or into the EZ in the redzone.
