    He implied that I have already made up my mind on Allen which is what I considered nonsense. There are people who think he’s destined to be a bust or not the long term answer. There are also people who think he is already the franchise QB or destined to be in the HoF. The next few years will prove who is right.

This has been a pretty civil discussion considering topics about Allen usually turn to garbage. Why bother picking a fight and dragging it down? Do I deny that I’ve made up my mind on Allen? Yes.

    Was this really necessary or are people that dumb where this needs to be spelled out? Cleary it’s his opinion on what he would do or want to see us do. That’s kinda the point of this place.

    His salary wasn’t as bad as I thought. My biggest issue was the draft pick compensation that i figured it would take to get a deal done at the time. It’s not that I thought Duke was anything special or I preferred him over Diggs. I just didn’t want to part with multiple high picks when we were coming into a draft loaded at WR.

    The focus should be on accumulating as many talented players as possible. If a WR is the highest rated player on our board when it’s our time to pick then I say trust your scouting and take him.
