Do people really think we will have 4 RBs active against a team whose strength is stopping the run and weakness is defending the pass? All because Williams played well in garbage time in 1 game? C’mon man

No. We’re going pass heavy against the Colts.

I’d make Williams our top priority. He’s been excellent this year.

Dorsey, and I suppose Chad as well, could be one and done as an OC here if Allen continues to play at an MVP level.

Dorsey seems like the obvious choice. Hall might be a bit too inexperienced as a coach to already run an offense.

Ya-Sin is actually pretty terrible so they can’t be too upset.

Would you want to risk changing the scheme though after the year Allen has had? That’s got to be one of the main motivators behind hiring from within if the goal is to keep the offensive philosophy the same right? The vacancy will obviously be really attractive to a lot of quality coaches. Say Daboll is the only coach from offense to leave, who are you going with for his replacement and what’s the plan there?

The playbook is already here. Not like he’s going to hunt down everyone with a copy. Will be interesting to see if they hire from within to maintain the same philosophy or do they go with an outside hire? Certainly there will be a lot of quality candidates who would want the job. Will they want to change the scheme? Will a guy like Dorsey be as creative as Daboll? Lots of questions.

I don’t understand the point of threads like these. You can browse every teams forums and cherry pick some ridiculous opinions. Let’s not pretend like we are immune to hilariously bad takes either. The Colts won 11 games and beat good teams during the regular season. I certainly think we’ll win the game but I’m not going to bash anyone from the Colts for being optimistic as well.

We won 13 games and gained an elite franchise QB this year. Regardless of what happens in the playoffs, I consider this season a success.
