  1. tailgating does not require drinking, contrary to popular belief...I think I had one beer and one bowling ball shot all day and I know one guy who hasn't had a drop of alcohol in years
  2. damn straight I will say this, though. It didn't seem quite as one-sided in the 2nd half...I wonder if Corrente (the referee) understood what I meant when I yelled at him as he walked by me through the tunnel at halftime, telling him that he's gonna get caught (with the biased officiating). Couple things to think about 6-3-1-3-11 Those numbers signify the number of penalties the Bills have incurred in each game since Perry took over....we had as many yesterday as we did in the previous 4 games combined. The Pats are well-known for getting favorable calls by the officials....and we get that many penalties in one game like that? There's 2 things I don't believe in...leprechauns and coincidence. Kraft's been influencing the officials since before Belichick...the "Just Give It To Them Game" is pretty strong evidence to that fact. But here's another issue....that false start by Andre Ramsey...put that one on the fans. The stupid ones, I mean...the ones who scream and yell and pound on seats during a critical offensive snap. High noise levels help the defense because it hurts the opposing offense. Too many !@#$ing Pats fans and apparently some supposed Bills fans who either wanted the Bills to lose or are just incredibly stupid. I miss the scrolling graphic that said Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh across the Jumbotron during critical offensive plays that they used to run a decade or so ago. Fans have gotten stupid since those days When the offense is on the field, the only time you make noise is to cheer a good play...but then you shut up before they break the huddle for the next play... simple common sense
  3. there's a better chance of getting Robert Kraft to forfeit all the games his team cheated in, either through Spygate or through Kraft paying off officials...it won't happen and Ralph would be insane to do so based on all the extra taxes that would have to be paid
  4. not surprising...players that make as many cheap shots as Wilfork are usually kinda cowardly
  5. I was kinda hoping Incognito would have a chance to cheap shot Wilfork...pay him back for all the times he's cheapshotted Bills players
  6. who's the wifebeater? Chris Henry has never been accused of assaulting a single female..domestic dispute doesn't always mean anything physical happened
  7. no wonder some message boards don't let you start your own threads until you've actually posted on the board a lot...lol
  8. That's why I have rules for myself when I play Fantasy football
  9. I kinda hope he starts with us the same way he finished with the Rams...by laying a cheap shot on that dirty SOB Wilfork late in the win. After that, he can clean up his act...but the Bills owe Wilfork for a lot of cheap shots over the years
  10. airhead is one of the last words I'd use to describe Lydia Technically, she was the host for the station, doing PR, some reporting, and interviewing celebrities. I say was, because her original 1-year contract (which was extended for a year because she's so good at her job) ran out and they recently ran auditions for a replacement. Lydia is going to WGRZ Channel 2. Whoever wins the job has some incredibly large shoes to fill
  11. No true fan roots for a loss, period. Every NFL fan with a remote shred of common sense knows the draft is a craps shoot, anyway
  12. well said on both posts...some people just have a personal bias against the guy and make up stories that have no basis in fact to defend their position.
  13. ticket prices have no bearing whatsoever on what teams can pay players. Player salaries, which are restricted by the salary cap anyway, are more than covered by TV revenues....ticket prices haven't had an effect on player salaries since before the merger...so you're about 40 years behind the times. richer jerks and less blue collar fans. People thinking that having more money makes you a better person are beyond ignorant. I know people at the games who make more than twice what I make who regularly start trouble, get thrown out, and are generally obnoxious.
  14. Yeah, I still can't believe Butler was going after that loser
  15. Biggest reason I think....besides the fact that he tried hard....he embraced Buffalo
  16. only 1 I've seen mentioned was an autograph signing at a Sears store in Toronto Friday at 5pm http://twitter.com/SearsCA/status/6700322022
  17. ditto...there's something sick about having Pats* or Fish players on your team as a Bills fan I have 3 rules for my fantasy teams No Fish No Pats* If they're playing against the Bills, they're benched for the week I won 1 of my leagues last year and am currently in 2nd in both of my leagues heading into the playoffs...so it's not like following those rules hurt me
  18. Got a few of those in Western NY as well...near the Galleria is one that I know is like that
  19. The only thing he's remorseful about is the punishment. He said in an interview "it's unfortunate this happened to me"...tells me he thinks he was the victim...not the innocent dogs he tortured and slaughtered and not the children who lost their beloved friends to this monster. As far as crucifying the guy, it's one thing to get released from prison after serving a light sentence (the prosecutors didn't do their jobs on this one)...but getting millions of dollars to play a game? Just another thing that's wrong with society these days...hardened criminals getting rewarded.
  20. Actually, a lot of people are opposed to Vick because of both his on-field issues AND the fact that he's the biggest scumbag in the NFL in over a decade. winning record is not a skill set...a win-loss record is a team stat...it's beyond ignorant to give credit/blame for wins and losses to any single player. This ain't tennis well said
  21. He hasn't shown remorse, so no
  22. bingo...he'd be stupid to sell at this point...capital gains tax on the team would be ridiculous.. Only smart move to make is leave it to his wife and then she sells it...no estate tax and only a tax on the sale of the team...which is what has been rumored to happen for nearly 2 years now...with Jim Kelly's group being the targeted buyer
  23. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/...illy-love-fest/ He's already gotten a little crap about the stupid statement he made on the radio on Twitter, too
  24. anyone who'd trade for Vick would trade for Losman...or else they're hypocrites...same skill set...same types of onfield issues
  25. I would've been cool with it...except for the QB controversy...not the way that he and Flutie played, mind you, but the way they handled it. When Flutie shot off his mouth, it was an opportunity for RJ to be a bigger man and not say anything, but he shot back at Flutie so I lost a lot of respect for him as a professional when that happened. At least with the Losman/Holcomb, Losman/Edwards and Edwards/Fitzpatrick QB controversies, everyone's been mature enough to get along publicly.
