  1. depends on how far you backed him...I was still for him until late in the 07 season. Fairchild sabotaged him early that season with vanilla play-calling. When he came back from the injury, he started off all right but started to fall apart and I was ready for a change. I met him once in the spring of 06 and he came across as a pretty likable guy...so I continue to hope he does well and hope that somehow he can turn things around...maybe the UFL experience will end up being looked at as his turning point.
  2. Unlike RJ, I can be happy for JP getting one...even though it's only as a backup...he's a class guy and gave it his best....his best just wasn't good enough
  3. another QB we dumped on his way to getting a Super Bowl ring...lol...kinda funny
  4. Proof that a person shouldn't post while high on drugs...Peters was the worst pass blocker at LT in the league in 2008...possibly the worst at any position on the OL
  5. Ok...you don't like dogs...what about the little kids who lost their best friends to this monster? Do you hate little kids, too? Besides, he has to show remorse before earning redemption...and saying stuff like "it's unfortunate this happened to me" is proof there is no remorse...except over getting punished (lightly) for his crimes
  6. reasons already covered...we already closed the door on Losman...same type of QB but he's actually a human being
  7. I wouldn't send Philly a bag of footballs for that cowardly scumbag
  8. Are people really that ignorant that we have to see this stupid crap time after time after time after time.. NO VICK!! He's mobile with a strong arm He's also inaccurate, inconsistent, and not that good at reading defenses Sounds like Losman...except that Losman is a human being, not a hardened criminal The only way Vick should come anywhere near Buffalo is to get his cowardly ass thrown over the Falls. !@#$ that POS!
  9. truth be told, though...we don't know how well things would look if we hadn't tried to go with the no-huddle and hadn't gotten hit by the injury bug. Walker was cut because he couldn't do the job in a no-huddle..the biggest issue on the O-line is the lack of cohesion Walker-Levitre-Hangartner-Wood-Butler for 12 games would be a lot better than all the 7 different starting combos we've had so far
  10. My only comment about JP's 2006 season was that he was named starting QB that year after competing for the job...some people obviously didn't pay attention
  11. What cave were you living in during camp of 2006? He ran himself off...get off your knees for the little ego-maniac. First off, he was good in 98 but stunk in 99. The #1 Defense in the NFL carried that team. Secondly, you apparently weren't paying attention when the Greg Williams staff was making the decision on which to keep...Flutie or RJ. They were bringing in the West Coast Offense and both QBs were asked their opinion of it. Flutie said he's give it a shot but if he didn't like it, he'd do it his way....BIG MISTAKE on his part. RJ said he'd do whatever the coaching staff asked of him to try to make it work. Obviously, he wasn't good enough to do it but it wasn't that he didn't want to. Let me clue you in on something...the coaches call the shots...not the QB, unless, like with Jim Kelly and Peyton Manning, the coaches tell them they can call the shots. When a QB who wasn't very good tells the head coach that he's not gonna tow the line, he's out the door. Yeah...We haven't beaten them with Edwards or Holcomb either and only once with Bledsoe..doesn't matter who's QB for the Bills....Robert Kraft's checks to the officials don't bounce
  12. KC is annually one of the top 3 Tailgating cities in the NFL along with Buffalo and Green Bay
  13. throw in Trent and get Gradkowski in return
  14. apparently you've been living in a cave the last month. Ralph is committed to making changes and Russ Brandon himself wants to bring in a football guy to run the personnel dept...whether we win out or lose out won't change that. Losing is never a positive thing...short term or long term. Once you start rooting against a team, you're no longer a fan
  15. don't confuse the phony Bills fans with facts stuff like: Bad front offices can easily make bad picks with top draft choices good front offices regularly make great picks with lower draft choices once a person even starts to think about rooting against their own team, they start losing brain cells
  16. That was almost my 1st as well...home on leave from the USAF...me and a buddy were supposed to meet up with another guy who had the tix....but he hit a bunch of snowstorms on the way there and didn't show up til late....we wound up listening to the game in the car. I got season tix in 96 before ever having gone to a game...the Redskins preseason game where Holocek got hurt was the 1st time I set foot inside then-Rick Stadium. Regular season, lots of rain on the day that Marv went on the Wall and then coached the Bills to a 17-10 over the Pats*. Quinn Early with a big TD catch and Hansen in the far end zone stuffed Dave Meggett for a loss on New England's last attempt to score.
  17. That's basically what I'm doing
  18. Not sure of the name, but it's right near the Loose Moose
  19. Add Nic Harris to the list http://twitter.com/Mr_LabelMeThis
  20. Here's a few tweets from Sunday night/Monday early morning where Thurman alludes to it not being TO http://twitter.com/thurmanthomas/status/6193068537 http://twitter.com/thurmanthomas/status/6193609830 http://twitter.com/thurmanthomas/status/6193668249 Regardless, I like that Thurman isn't saying who it was...hopefully whoever it was apologizes and the matter can hopefully be laid to rest. Thurman wasn't really bugged by the diss himself all that much (If I remember correctly, when he talked about it on his show yesterday, he said he was like "whatever" about it)...but it bugged his son a lot and like any good father, his top concern is for his children
  21. As far as the NFL Network wanting to stay on the Basic Tier, the NFL is the most watched sports league on the planet...perfectly reasonable that they want their exposure to be at a maximum. A sports tier should be for the regional and specialty sports channels, IMO. Regarding who's at fault...Time Warner or NFL Network on pricing I heard this from a buddy of mine who lives in the city When Adelphia was running things, they added NFL Network, ESPNU, and several other channels to their basic line-up and prices went up $2.22 a month per subscriber. After Time Warner took over and then subsequently dropped NFL Network and, I believe, some of the other channels that Adelphia had added, they kept the rate hike that Adelphia had put in place to cover the cost of those channels. Simply put, Buffalonians are still paying for NFL Network but not getting it.
  22. and idiots...everyone knows the draft is a crap shoot
  23. from what Thurman said, the diss didn't bug him until he became aware that it upset his son. Maybe Thurman III saw something that #34 didn't
  24. whether TO and the other culprit apologize or not, everyone going to the game Thursday should wear #34 or #12 jerseys...send a message
