Playoff Bound

It has been obvious all season that Gilmore is not work the money he wants. The Bills don't the money anyway. But lets be honest, the entire defense has been shaky most games this season.

I was around for those years. The difference is you knew the Bills were putrid and were not disappointed. This year was supposed to be the one where they finally made the playoffs so it will be more maddening. Oh well/

He was definitely better than John McCargo at the 26th pick of the 1st round.

Lets face it people like Jerry Sullivan never get tired of the criticism. They relish it.

Why not sign Graham. Add Harvin and the insanity is complete.

Wow, that was a close one. Nothing like a lame duck team and a lousy one at that. I doubt the citizens of San Diego will pass a referendum for public financing.

I was in South Carolina last week to visit my daughter. I think the local Wal Mart was the only other place open at 2 am. I never got to any of the Waffle House locations but will try them the next time I go see her. All season I root for the Bills and then all post season I root for anyone but the Patriots. Go Panthers.

Lets be honest, this was the same Fitzpatrick we saw play for the Bills. He couldn't make the plays when he was a Buffalo Bill and he hasn't changed. I like the guy but not as my QB. The game was lost when he threw the McKelvin pick in the end zone. For a guy as smart and experienced as he is he should never had made that throw. Even Dan Fouts commented he didn't know what Fitzpatrick saw on that play. That play ended the Jets season. That was classic Fitzpatrick.

Rex has already accomplished this so there no need to bring Kelly in for this reason. The word was that Kelly lost the Eagles locker room. That speaks volumes.

I have been a Bills fan since the old AFL and a San Francisco Giants fan for about the same length of time. The Giants have won it all in 2010, 2012, 2014 and will do it again in 2016. I also am a fan of the San Diego Gulls minor league hockey team. In the late 90's and early 2000's they won the West Coast Hockey League Taylor Cup several years in a row (1996, 1997, 1998, 2001 & 2003). I was there for the 2003 finals game where they won the cup. It was great.

Jim Schwartz is available. Remember the players carried him off the field after one game. I am surprised the players haven't dragged Thurman off the field by his feet.

Good old Rex took a playoff caliber defense and turned it into a defense that can't stop anyone. This team stinks. Stay home and let the empty seats tell the story, Enough is enough.

I thought this was the 16th straight year they have missed the playoffs, which means does this season's failure hurt more than the last 15. Or are you just ahead of the game in predicting next year will the the 17th straight year? I wonder what the Vegas odds would be for a professional team to miss for 16 straight years. My feeling is this is just another year for the Bills. Nothing new.

Its simple. Rex leaves the Jets and the Jets improve. Rex joins the Bills and the Bills get worse. It really is that simple. How many more years does Rex have on his contract? That is how many more years the Bills don't make the playoffs.

This season has been Rex being Rex. We should have expected a losing team that can't win a big game. If I were Rex I would park the pickup truck in the garage.

Not as depressing as watching the Bills play. The Jets were a disaster last season. Rex get fired and they do a complete turn around. The Bills were 9 - 7 last year with a playoff caliber defense and a crappy head coach. The odds of them going 8 - 8 this season is remote. The common denomination is Rex. I have seen enough. This team should have made the playoffs.

That is funny. Too bad its true.

The Bills stunk today. What frustrates me is they went from a top rated shut-down defense last season to an average defense this season, yet they have better personnel. Their offense, even with Greg Roman, is better than last year. So its a push so far this season. Then add in all those stupid penalties and there goes the games against top flight teams.

I hope Cundiff is being brought in to give Carpenter a chance to get healthy. Carpenter has been erratic the preseason and four games. Cundiff has been erratic for the past four years.

Not a 7th round pick, a 5th round pick two seasons from now. The Bills GM is amazing! I agree, it seems like the Cowboys were a team in need and the Bills didn't get much in return. In a few weeks, with few more QB's going down with injuries, Cassel would have been worth more. I wonder if the ghost of Buddy Nix woke up and got snuck back into One Bills Drive.

We haven't seen the real Bills defense yet. Bills 27 - 16

This is an interesting way to look at it. I am not sure keeping Fred had a major impact on the 60,000 season ticket sales though. It seems like that would have happened anyway. Now every time Bryce Brown fumbles we will ask why he is still on the team. I would have liked Fred to have stayed but lets be real. He would have gotten hurt sooner or later and missed a bunch of games.

I won't take a pledge to support Tyrod but I will support him. We'll see how things go but you have to feel good about him. I thought EJ played well against the Steelers and looked decisive. Tyrod looked better though. You get the feeling he will make things happen. It was a fun game to watch expect for sleeping though Cassel's time on the field.

After last years draft most felt the Bills O-Line picks were solid. Lets see what solid coaching brings now that Marrone is gone.

That is exactly what he should do. Just show up repeat the same answer and leave. He is a beast and he gives 100% on the field where it counts. I wish he were still with the Bills.
