  1. USA plays England on Black Friday. It will likely be the most watched Soccer game in US History
  2. ? none of those are true of him and I’ve been watching him play for 4 years. He’s generally a good positional corner who tracks well, but struggles to make plays on the ball. He doesn’t really stand out in terms of gaffes, and while he’s not great in run support he’s also not bad. His lack of ball skills and slender frame means he’ll struggle against better WRs who do have elite body control and ball skills and can out physical him, but his athleticism and sound technique suggest he’ll be a mid round pick because he’ll generally shadow anyone by the elite WRs
  3. PSU has a few guys that fit the Bills as their defense is similar to the McDermott scheme. TCF is certainly one guy who’s fit the scheme Brandon Smith is an elite athlete at LB who needs a lot of growing up, and would be viewed as an UDFA/late rounder And of course Jahan Dotson
  4. As a football fan, I love it. As a Bills fan, I love that Mahomes isn’t the one throwing to these dudes. With Phins D being pretty good, if those guys get a leap out of Tua, Miami is absolutely going to compete with the Bills for the AFCE crown- especially now that they’ve got that stud tackle.
  5. If we’re going running back then I’m going with corderelle Patterson. He brings an element no one else does which is speed & electricity with ball in hand
  6. Guess the Browns got their adult at QB
  7. clearly 22 unrelated women hated men so much that they were willing to lie to prosecutors about Wataon purely so they could tarnish and win some money while nuking their own reputations- publicly. So this is all fine and great and clearly the Browns are a wonderful organization in seeing just how poorly Deshaun was being treated and rewarded him with a ludicrously large contract
  8. AFC West is hilarious
  9. There's north and then there's The North
  10. location and climate, and possibly lifestyle dependong on what he's been doing since getting to the NFL. He's from Arizona and went to school in Arkansas. The North is not for the weak of heart
  11. Not doom, but he filled a need. Now it either goes unfulfilled or someone else does. This team doesn't have much speed and danger in the open field - and he brought that. But regardless, no hard feelings hopefully. Looks like he just wanted to settle his life in the DMV
  12. dang, I was legit excited to add him. We need to add another speed piece to this offense Yep, this was the tampering portion of FA. Actual free agency doesn't start for like 2.5 hours
  13. The real problem the Bills will have is in 2023, which is why it’s good to be wary of these restructures https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/2023/all/buffalo-bills// They only have 31 players under contract and 179M of cap space taken up. Even if the cap is at 230M that’s not actually a ton of space - especially considering Edmunds, Knox, Bates (assuming he had a good year) ~ 20M in cap space after being resigned - I think Jordan Poyer will have to be allowed to walk, while Diggs, Tre and Dawkins would be extended.
  14. Would imagine the cap hit is skewed towards next season, with the idea that the Bills either keep him and restructure and convert a roster as a singing bonus, or cut him and leave just that roster bonus as the dead cap hit. something like 5M this year, and 5M roster + 5M base salary in 2023
  15. If ford makes it through training camp without getting cut I’ll be pleasantly surprised.
  16. Not sure what NE was doing with that Shaq Mason deal
  17. Thats likely so that they can fit the announced signings under the cap
  18. Well teams should sign zone CBs and keep playing them in zone defenses.
  19. They've gotten a little worse actually when they lost Ward. But that's not really a position where I'd want the Bills to be in. Everytime they play the Chiefs, it's a complete toss up because neither offense can be consistently stopped, and if Herbert takes a stop forward and they add another WR, then they're in the same boat offensively - except they have elite defensive talent.
  20. I also include the nickel package, which is to say the base defense. Plus when you have these LBs covering modern TEs...I mean they have average speed compared to someone like Mike Gesicki. You can't really use them in man or match up zones against teams with more athletic TEs. Now Edmunds erases a lot of ground but Milano does struggle with faster TEs. The problem with the Bills is that they go out of their way to protect their safeties and corners. They have that mushroom zone because they simply don't have the speed to play anything more aggressive. There's a lot of lockeroom/intangibles that our safety battery mates bring, but I would have thought long and hard replacing 1 of them with someone like Justin Reid - or finagling a way to draft someone like Kyle Hamilton. purely on the onfield. that would be a dynamic change to the defense that allows you to get a lot more tactical with coverages. But as it stands I think the Bills have 5 dudes out there who run 4.55 or slower 40s. Fortunately the Bills have a good pass rush. but you want to have a defense that's going to spike elite passing games, you need to be better than good in the pass rush, with so little speed in the backend
  21. "huge need" is an exaggeration as Dane Jackson showed enough to be a replacement level starter, which is fine as you can protect him by making him a boundary corner. The problem is that Bills standing still haven't fixed their primary problem with the roster, which is speed in the back 7. You can do that by straight up adding more speed in the secondary in multiple spots, or by getting better in the pass rush so you don't have to cover Hill for as long as you do now. But right now, there's no reason to think the Chiefs won't put up a 40 spot on this defense.
  22. Who's the first round pick that would be better than a high end DE who grades would excellently, at 28, whom you can probably extend and get his cap number down to like 15M this year? It's not the 1st round pick the Bills would have a problem with. It's who on the roster they'd have to sacrifice to get him, because it would be Star + plus a decent to good player The Bills would have to extend him as part of the trade. No other way. They can't eat 25M cap hit without giving up far too much talent. Heck even 15M you're going to have to sacrifice a starter.
  23. You mean he's taking Moss' spot
