  1. Probably Worthy from that list. But I don’t think anybody of them will be great. I think Troy Franklin will end up being the best of the bunch.
  2. When the narrative and reality don’t match, that is when you buy or sell the stock. Life has a way of eventually balancing out. Sounds like Bills fans know what to buy while the price is cheaper than it should be.
  3. I think we get closer every year. Things add up over time. I lost interest in the NBA with the 3 pointer barrage and social justice crap and jamming WNBA down our throats. NFL will be death by a thousand cuts.
  4. Makes me wonder if the OP even watched the games.
  5. Perfect storm is a good word to describe the uncanny level of doubt thrown his way. The thing about it is that deep down everyone knows how great he is. Including the media and casual fans. Either an MVP year or a Super Bowl will change the narrative.
  6. It happened a lot during the mob era. Well documented if you want to go down that rabbit hole. Nowadays it’s more subtle, and I’m beginning to suspect, not as persistent as it was say during the Pats and Brady’s heyday. Meaning if you keep outplaying the other team the refs/league will give up and let you do it. I also suspect the league is more interested in keeping prime time games close until the 4th quarter, rather than picking a winner. This is for advertising rates late in games.
  7. I’m going to start using the term “soft blowout” more often haha.
  8. We’re going to see a receiver by committee offense with no real #1. Don’t be surprised if Kincaid is the leading receiver at the end of the year. I keep thinking peak Russell Wilson Seahawks as the comp with Golden Tate/Lockett/Baldwin/Zach Miller/Jimmy Graham. When Allen threw his perfect game against the Pats, it was a committee performance. Don’t be surprised if this is a career year for Allen.
  9. Can’t believe the poster you replied to even suggested that.
  10. The west side of SF is thank God still standing. But for how long? But you know well what it’s like walking around the Mission in the evening, or even during the day. For those curious, do you know what the library tunnel is like on Ellicott St in downtown Buffalo around 5pm? That’s what a large part of SF is like now.
  11. The difference between Buffalo and SF is that it's all over SF. In Buffalo everyone knows where to go to find trouble.
  12. Agree. Some parts are safe and others are terrible. Lots of emotional over corrections in this thread. This was a daylight robbery shooting on an NFL player. That doesn’t happen everywhere. Unless we hear this is gang or drug related, people should be free to judge the city based on their own experiences without being silenced.
  13. How did the other Jet fans react to this? This is actually a better post on Allen’s statistical dominance than any I have ever seen on Bills forums. I believe it would take an outsider with an eye for stats to understand the nonsensical INT narratives when looked at in context. Allen has GOAT numbers already. When Allen wins a SB he will skyrocket into top 10 all time over night because casuals will begin to see these numbers in a different light.
  14. How is a whipping boy overrated? There’s a weird cognitive dissonance with Allen. Almost like everybody subconsciously knows he should get more respect than he does, but they don’t want to give it to him. So it manifests in weird situations like this.
  15. Recency bias man. And you’re too emotion based here. We can agree to disagree.
  16. Talent? He was a top 5 pick. He’s more talented than most backups. The guy was a top backup 2 years ago and now he’s not? Coming off another failed starter job. That’s mental.
  17. Something people forget. Trubisky just went up against the Bears and Steelers. The two teams he flopped on. This is all mental.
  18. Trubisky’s issue is confidence. Get him a good sports psychologist and he’ll be a good backup for us.
  19. I raise you 5 Super Bowls. 4 in a row.
  20. Thank you. The guy doesn’t have a Super Bowl ring because Levi Wallace played 10 yards off the line of scrimmage on Travis Kelce. Allen is a born leader. They need to shut up and learn from him.
  21. The Process was definitely good. The Process is faith-based. Build the foundation, build great character, trust in God, and the championships will follow. But the roster makeup was terrible. Furthermore, I’m a big believer Allen was better for Daboll than visa versa. Not to mention the horrible media narratives that can grate on a players mind. I believe Daboll was anti-Process and all about numero uno. It was an incredibly difficult first few years which Allen held on for, and even managed to get us to the playoffs. McDermott will be a SB winning coach, but Allen will be a GOAT. He would’ve succeeded anywhere.
