  1. I predict Kiko makes a leap this year, go beyond legendary and simply reach god status.
  2. Losing Byrd is going to affect the secondary, but I think Brandon Spikes should help out our run D tremendously (he was on the radio this morning, sounded super pumped about being here). Hopefully Kiko can still thrive outside, and hopefully Dareus and step his professionalism and maturity up. I have faith Manuel is going to be a decent "learner" of the game, and things will slow down for him this year. I'm not sure that I see his ceiling as high as some fans, with regards to some awful footwork he was showing on the field last year. With the addition of Wakins, more freedom for Hackett will certainly allow for more interesting attacks, but we'll have to see how that plays out on the field. I think we'll see Spikes as the most important on D, and Watkins for our offense.
  3. I strongly dislike the high standard that media people like Jerry Sullivan hold these athletes to. Many people hold them to a higher standard than themselves. Cutting ties with Dareus would send a terrible message to our locker room. You can't just cut guys for speeding, or for getting a few misdemeanors. He hasnt even been suspended a single time by the NFL. The message is to WIN NOW, cutting one of the biggest pieces in our D-line completely undermines that.
  4. we HAVE to make the playoffs this season though! can't have people brushing our drought streak with the "they only got in because of expanded playoffs" excuse
  5. could dump it to CJ .. could mean Woods or Williams are wide open.
  6. I'd rather keep Stevie now, and let him compete vs Mike Williams for his spot on the Bills. He'd be playing for NFL career money at that point. His value is potentially at its highest now, but if he is relegated to a 2nd, or 3rd receiver, then he will have to step up his production to get a legitimate contract in the future. I'm stoked with this pick, but we have to gauge Stevie's feelings on it and being in Buffalo before we simply ship him away
  7. Maybe folks were copying comments from ESPN.com and pasting them here
  8. I would love it.. Also It's not a big distraction. if anything players would be more motivated to perform in training camp and preseason
  9. I'd take NE over Indy and SD over Denver for AFC NO over SEA and SF over CAR for NFC
  10. I don't know if I could name a favorite play, but I definitely enjoyed the way it seemed Robey improved throughout the season. As the film went on he appeared to be making more and more big plays.
  11. Sorry if somebody has posted this one already http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7uqldAgkz4&feature=share Absolutely love the play recognition that this kid has, no way he sits behind Brooks next year
  12. OP is severely underestimating how terrible Dave Wannstedt actually was (worst coordinator in my lifetime), and although Pettine has done a great job with our defense this year, the Bills shouldn't give up on Marrone/Hackett after one season. The second year is where a lot of evaluation will be more concrete and the severe, long-lasting decision can be made then
  13. this is step 2 in the firing process of front office and coaching personnel: 1. we are happy with our GM/coach 2. we guarantee our GM/coach will not be fired. 3. we fired our GM/coach
  14. I dont think the saints game was a moral victory.. or the jets
  15. Let's promote brandon merriweather to that list at least
  16. Yeah the bills app uses push notifications so you will receive them even if the app is not running.
  17. This needs to be a consideration by the FO if EJ doesnt improve his footwork and accuracy issues when he returns. Its quite possible 1-2 years from now we will have the best LB in the NFL in kiko. We need to have the QB capable of winning a super bowl before we start losing key talent in other spots on the roster.
  18. I'm sure it has been mentioned but the play along the sideline where he danced around and tried to moonwalk to make the catch behind him.. most receivers would be able to extend to the ball and make the catch.. he just doesn't appear to be getting it, and definitely is not close to being an NFL receiver yet
  19. At this point I really hope the bills offensive staff takes a long look in the mirror and come up with the right answers to this
  20. The play calls were very atrocious, especially in the red zone, and the reason we lost the game. Score touchdowns on the early field goal drives and the Bills are ahead in points the entire game rather than chasing. Just TRY a quick slant or screen to get around that front 7's strengths
