Okay so do we need to trade Lee Evans now?
infernus replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the Bills need to hold on to evans.. they could REALLY shoot themselves in the foot by drafting a great QB only to see him fail because he gets no protection, and even worse, noone to throw to. -
He put up a new tweet regarding messing with people "I love messing with people, when they mess with me... U guys r great"

Should Trent Edwards succeed in JAX...
infernus replied to MClem06's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Regardless of whether or not we can place blame on other facets of our offense, the fact is Trent could not play QB in Buffalo if the Bills had/have any hope of being competitive. -
fitz to lee for six sanchez cries himself to sleep one and three lets go

The amount of melodrama in this thread is off the charts. Sure, I disagree with the extension, but Understand some things: a) Kelsay is not getting overpaid by THAT much, and there isn't a salary cap this year. b) The chances are low he'll even play for all four of those years c) we don't know the exact terms of the deal, especially with regards to signing bonus d) look at the rest of our linebackers.. if we didn't sign him we're going into the next season with Ellis and Maybin starting. No way do we fill in the rest in one off season, even if we can use some of this years draft picks. Please take a deep breath, a step back, and just relax. No need to start the whole chicken little thing right now. It's like some of you expect Nix to go in his time machine, and keep all the great defensive players we've let go and release all the crappy ones we're now stuck with. Is signing Chris Kelsay REALLY what put you over the edge? Ridiculous

Since I complained about Troup (happy now)

Yeah, I am pretty sure Chris Brown mentioned this means Carrington will see more playing time here it is: Stroud sounds questionable -
Why not at LEAST wait until the end of the season??? Why wait for 3 crummy games from him then extend it? I might get a brain aneurysm

Ugh, bad news indeed... who was behind this?

A low point in Bills Defensive Line History
infernus replied to flopagamo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Definitely a worthy "highlight" truly shows how we have ZERO linebackers that can make a play. Anyone see Urlacher last night? So envious..... -
The problem is that what the media SHOULD do is take a step back and wait to see what the bills' next move is regarding QB.. but since the story was reported they feel they have to chime in with something, and unfortunately, no it's not fair, especially because there was no massive uproar when Trent was named starter.. pretty much everyone knew "OK, this is the kid's last shot.. either he thrives or he's done"... not sure why anything is surprising at this point.

Or Somebody told Gailey to start Edwards, somebody who signs his check
-
You are forgetting the very possible reality that Mr. Gailey was politically forced to start Trent above, say, Fitz.

Flutie is not the curse; It's me! Sorry bills nation

No it is I who jinxed them by sitting on the other side of the Ralph after sitting on the home sideline side for the good games!! Home sideline, we win. Away sideline, we lose. -
They don't need to get angry, they need to get tough. Take a god damn personal foul when your QB is getting teabagged on the grass. Show some heart.

Buscaglia: Hey Bills, Let the kids play
infernus replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with giving CJ and Nelson a few more snaps.. but Maybin honestly looks more lost than Trent out there. I'm a Penn State fan and root for him to do well, but it's sickening to watch. I'm beginning to believe more and more that he'll be on waivers in a year or so. Guessing they don't feel Carrington is ready enough either. -
Bills are being laughed at on the field.

Donte, pretend you are Ryan Clark .. you pull of a hit like this one and i can guarantee even after all the morphine nobody's gonna be laughing... This is what I'm talking about. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyNy-TkDGB0 -

Wow what a great post. Mature too. -
How did promising pre-season go so horribly wrong?
infernus replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Definitely not, and not even if we lose a third time in Foxboro, a game we should at least see our offense improve in. Did anybody think that after losing to Miami our first win would be before we play the Jets? -
With The 1st Pick of The 2011 Draft Buffalo Takes ????
infernus replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You would just ignore the fact that we lack 3-4 personnel and draft offensive players only? Nah, we need a GM with an actual legit plan, hopefully Buddy is working it out. -
Seems like a good formula to actually take our team below rock bottom. Kolb doesn't look like a Elite QB, nor does he show signs that he will be in the future. He has had three NFL starts. You can't just trade willy nilly because our QBs stink to high heaven. Vincent Jackson would be an OK pickup for the right price. Stockpiling a few draft picks for some vets could also work.. but you need to have a big picture in mind. Maybin starting would be a terrible idea. A better one would be to put him on waivers. Did you see him play on Sunday? He is a liability on the team, not a benefit. Look, the NFL isn't about making random trial-by-error experiments trying to see what works and what doesn't. You need to have a plan to rebuild, and it appears that Nix has a 2-3year plan in progress.
-
You need to relax a little bit. What would you have predicted the score of this game to be? Totally a lot closer? Green bay's home opener? Doubtful. We need to be objective of the team this year, especially only two weeks in.. Expect the team to improve week after week rather than come out like they were shot out of a cannon

Where is our PASS RUSH?
infernus replied to San Diego Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow that is a disheartening way to put it, but definitely the truth. -
Jets because only the teams that play them can make them shut their mouths, and since the Bills are mad underrated, it'd cause more bullets to fly their way.
