  1. I hope Frazier puts some wrinkles in what he's been doing, since it is pretty bland up front. I hope he realizes that if the DL can't get to Brady, Frazier is in for a long day. At the very least, we'll learn more about Frazier as a DC.
  2. Yep, completely agree. If I'm McDermott, I'm closely looking at Dennision's gameplan and ensuring it doesn't include pitches to a FB and other dumb stuff. I fear Dennison has no idea how to prepare for a game like what is coming up on Sunday.
  3. Agree, no way we pay elite money for a slightly above average QB. If I had to take a guess where Cousins winds up, I'd say he stays in Washington; they don't have anyone else waiting in the wings and he's a known quantity. Funny thing is, Scott McGloughn (ex GM who got fired last spring) wanted to extend Cousins two years ago; Danny and Bruce Allen were waffling over the decision, so it never got done.
  4. I agree. Problem is Dennison has no clue. Modify his precious offense to win a big game? Not likely, unfortunately.
  5. The HGH doesn't work as well as it used to. Maybe I should retire.
  6. So head coaching changes, as well as their decision to fire an OC during the season, has nothing to do with this? I doubt Tyrod tells the FO "This OC sucks, get rid of him." Have to agree with Kirby that Tyrod hasn't changed, he's still the same player he was two years ago.
  7. I can see this. Elway probably thinks he can make another run at a SB with another Manning. He likes his old QBs in the sunset of their careers. Odd that Elway, being who he is, has done a poor job of getting a good, young QB in the draft.
  8. Supposedly this decision came from Mara, or at the least had his blessing. Not sure why they want to start Geno Smith, who has had more than enough NFL starts to know exactly who he is and how bad he is.
  9. I have another dish for him; shish-kebab Brady. He can cook that on Sunday. Should be delicious.
  10. So you're saying we've been successful in something other than not making the playoffs...not winning a playoff game in 22 years.
  11. Maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised and Hoyer will start.
  12. No, he's not Rex. Rex would do that, without concern for winning. Belichick will field and utilize who he thinks gives the Pats* the best chance to win the game.
  13. None of these teams would destroy the Bills. I think Buffalo could beat any one of them. They wouldn't face an NFC team in the playoffs. The SB, that is a different story.
  14. Baltimore Ravens. My cousin worked for the company that was contracted for stadium health emergency services, so I got a free ticket once a season for the past several years. M&T Bank stadium is a great place to watch a game and the Ravens fans are pretty cool.
  15. Oh, I totally agree that this is a team in transition that has worked hard and overachieved. All the pieces are not in place yet and the team is not where McDermott wants it to be; he's said as much several times. But I don't think the OC is adequately using what he has on offense; we largely have the same personnel as last year, with comparable receivers, and the offensive is vastly under-performing.
  16. Because the offensive philosophy and blocking scheme is completely wrong for the personnel we have. And somewhere between Dennison and McDermott the idea of starting Peterman was conceived to see if he could better run the offense that Dennison can't adequately call plays for, and IMO, does not fully grasp even though he's been immersed in it for years.
  17. Or get 3 picks. I like that option better
  18. September 25, 2011, the Bills came back from a 21–0 deficit to defeat the Patriots 34–31
  19. "Call me when you don't have any class"
  20. Have you thought of moving to another state? Maybe that could make a difference.
  21. No, not a homer at all. Can't argue with that logic, and 24 is probably on the light side.
  22. Which is exactly why the front 4 or 5 need to get to Brady consistently. Don't allow him to be comfortable in the pocket, then he won't be able to complete enough of these passes to stay on the field. Jamming the receivers on the line will be big, as well, since it will disrupt the timing. And McDermott needs to tell the refs to keep an eye on Gronk's push offs down field, he gets away with these a lot.
  23. I think the thought is that once Watkins was traded, Boldin suspected the Bills were not serious about winning and wanted to tank. So Boldin decided to give social activism a try.
  24. This could be written about Joe Flacco, as well. He's done tremendously well in the playoffs and SB a couple of years ago, but can stink up the joint during the regular season. I have thought for a while now that both Eli and Flacco are very similar QBs: can play well on the big stage, can stink it up during the mundane games, but neither really playing worth their larger contracts.
  25. The Broncos did the same in the AFC championship game in 2016. I don't think our DLine is as good as those teams, so Frazier and McD need to be creative.
