  1. Marvin Lewis. Happened after last season.
  2. Steelers got robbed on that call. Should have been overturned, or better yet not called at all.
  3. IMO, this is a must win game. Not for right now, but in December for a wild card spot and seeding, if we don't win the division. I'd imagine McD and the team realizes this.
  4. No. Not sure how much I believe in Foles away from Pederson.
  5. Brady is ultra competitive. I don't think he has anything left to prove, thus a possible lack of motivation on Brady's part.
  6. Not sure. I know the NFL is supposedly trying to get the type of hit that Josh took, out of the game all together. At the least, I would have thought Jones got ejected and would receive a fine from the NFL this week. Looks like neither happened, or will happen. Hard to take the NFL seriously when penalties are not applied evenly...regardless of who the player and team are.
  7. Jones lead with his helmet, in a hit he didn't have to make!!! What don't you get about that? If this happened to Brady, you all (and the refs and NFL office) would be losing your collective s**t. So Jones' hit is now justified in your eyes? That's wonderful, man.
  8. No, Burfict's hit was worse; the Colt receiver had his knees on the turf. Burfict should be done in the NFL. Jones simply lead with his helmet and should have been ejected and got a multi game suspension.
  9. And did you hear Dan Fouts say "he didn't have to do that"? You can't justify that hit no matter how hard you try
  10. Did you see the other defender on Josh Allen's back? Josh was in process of going down, Jones' dirty and illegal hit was completely unnecessary. I hope someone drills Brady in the head.
  11. Probably. Jones should have been ejected from the game yesterday, and be looking at a big fine and multi game suspension. Instead, Goodell will treat him to lunch. Effing sick.
  12. I don't hate Zay Jones. He just shouldn't be running patterns greater than 10 yards is all. Short, quick slants is all he should get. Zay is not a long ball receiver.
  13. No it doesn't. Jonathan Jones did not need to make contact with Allen. The angle looking at Allen shows just how much time and room Jones had to avoid a collision. Jones' cheap shot was on purpose and at the least wanted to send a message to Josh, but was more likely to try and hurt him.
  14. There is talk (on this board, anyway) about trading for AJ Green or Stephon Diggs. I would personally prefer Diggs, but who are we going to trade? Let's say Cincy or Minny needs a d-linemen or o-linemen, I'd trade Trent Murphy or Dion Dawkins in a heartbeat. Not sure that would fly with either team, though.
  15. If Allen is still forsaking a higher probability shorter pass for the big gain, he hasn't learned from last year. I think Daboll tried drilling that into him, and Allen acknowledged this in the off season. Josh definitely holds the ball way too long when looking deep.
  16. I hope Daboll sees this and implements more of the quick, shorter passes. They came out in the third quarter running shorter patterns and had some success. They're not going to be able to exactly mimic NE's offense, but at least start to trend that way. Our o-line doesn't pass protect well enough for longer patterns nor is Allen accurate enough.
  17. If I remember the passes to Zay that were picks, they were more than 10 yards. Zay is not an intermediate to long receiver. He does better with short to intermediate passes. I don't know why Daboll has Zay running longer routes, he just doesn't do a good job with them. It doesn't help that Josh was not at all accurate with longer passes; he overthrew the receiver by 5 yards on a couple of occasions I recall seeing.
  18. This team seems to be tight and has each other's backs. They respect and believe in Josh Allen as a player and leader, which is great to see. There will be hell to pay.
  19. Yeah, not all penalties are equal. A helmet to helmet should hold higher weight than say holding or pass interference.
  20. I get your point, but he wasn't poking us in the eye. Some of the other Pats clowns that troll this board, that's a different story.
  21. If Vontaze Burfict was ejected for a helmet to helmet hit today, then so should have Jonathan Jones. Yet another example of the league not enforcing the rules evenly.
  22. That's not necessary; PatsFanNH is one of the better and even keeled fans around. I'm not happy about this loss either, but don't take it out on another fan who is sincere about his post. You're better than this, Virgil.
  23. Vontaze Burfict was ejected today for a helmet to helmet hit against the Colts. I know Burfict has a history of being a dirty player, but you can't enforce a rule for being a dirty player vs not known for being a dirty player. Rules should be enforced equally, but obviously they are not. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001059810/article/vontaze-burfict-ejected-for-helmettohelmet-hit "Raiders linebacker Vontaze Burfict was thrown out of Sunday's 31-24 win over the Colts for a helmet-to-helmet hit on Indianapolis tight end Jack Doyle. At first, the Raiders received just a 15-yard penalty for the play, but Burfict was later ejected after a review of the video."
  24. It was almost like Crossman was still here.
