Nice insurance in case they aren't able to grab one in the draft. Also lowers the overall age of the RB room.

Game of Thrones - And Now Our Watch Has Ended!
Wayne Cubed replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Thought it was a brilliant episode. "Nothing happened" is exactly the way the show had been for 5 seasons. It was all about character development and spending long conversations with these characters. Then season 6 hits and everything moves at lightning pace. I've really disliked the pace of the show recently, realising of course that story tellers can't carry this out for long periods for financial reason. This episode to me was a more true GoT episode. They are completing the story arcs for a lot of characters, to me that's A LOT happening. Yea I guess it's not a major battle or the Red Wedding or anything like that but you usually only got one of those episodes a season. I'm not sure why anyone would think the Ayra sex scene was weird or not part of her character. She's spent 7 years thinking of death as her master and now faced with almost certain death herself she realizes it's the enemy and rather than hanging out with a bunch of old men who only know war, she's choses life and living. It's good character writing IMO. Since coming back to Winterfell she has had the choice to be Arya again. To reconnect with her family. To be her age, although still understand the situation. Shout out to Ghost, who makes a reappearance as well. -
While I tend to agree with what you have posted, I think the answer lies somewhere in the middle in terms of the Bills defense. The advanced defensive statistics bear that out a bit more because as you say not all games are created equal. I think it’s better to rank teams in terms of drives against efficiency. They’re is no debating the Bills had the worst average drive starting yards, which was on average their own 32.6. That’s awful and just shows how bad the special teams were last year. It also helps explain how they were able to keep yards lower as most teams didn’t have to drive as far down the field. They also had the 3rd most drives against, 189. That’s 35 more than the Saints drives against, that’s ridiculous. I think that shows how often the offense gave the ball back. Saying that, the Bills defense had the 7th lowest percentage of drives ending in points. Only 33% of those 189 drives ended in a score. They also had the 11th lowest points per drive. Those are both pretty good considering the amount of drives they faced. I agree with you I don’t think they were the 2nd best defense, I’d have probably placed them somewhere between 5-10 and have thought all offseason they need help up front on the DL. Consider who on the DL is signed past 2020, 1 player.

Guess The Bills First Regular Season Game For 2019
Wayne Cubed replied to Peace Frog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They are trying to celebrate a 100 years of the NFL with match ups in the first week, I'm going with Denver. Two original AFL teams. -
Notre Dame Cathedral on fire

I have family in Minneapolis and have been there a number of times as well and of course across the river to St. Paul. It’s a beautiful cathedral as well. -
Notre Dame Cathedral on fire
Wayne Cubed replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Off the Wall Archives
I’ve seen and visited the cathedral a number of times. It’s kind of sad what’s happened to it. The state law in France doesn’t allow them to charge for entrance to the cathedral so restoration has been difficult because it’s been difficult to raise funds. They had finally raised money to start after a public outcry and now this. All that’s left of the interior is pictures now... -
But he could have learned how to do it, something the Jedi possibly hadn’t learned or wouldn’t do because ya know... Jedi.
-
That would be a wicked twist, and honestly I’d like it. It would connect a lot of dots, with how JJ Abrams was writing it. - When Rey picks up the Skywalker lightsaber...
-
Yea I could see that. In the Star Wars universe, like the Jedi, the Sith had figured out how to “live forever” through the force. So hearing Palpatine laughter isn’t super surprising. Where they differ from the Jedi is that they had figured out how to occupy bodies. So Sith Lords could/would come back. I know some would hate it but it could be a case that both Anakin and Palpatine are back.

Kylo Ren is also a Skywalker, so it could imply him as well

JJ Abrams sure knows how to deliver trailers. Hopefully he can help recover this trilogy from where Johnson left it.

Who the hell updated the logo for them as well, it's awful...

I think it'll end up being 9 OL they keep, 5 interior OL and 4 OTs. The starting OL will most likely be: LT Dawkins LG Spain C Morse RG Long RT Nseke Backup interior: Teller or Boettger and Feliciano. You keep one young guy toe develop you have under contract further than next year and a vet. Backup OT: Waddle and draft pick. I think they need to draft a young guy who will be under contract further than next year to develop. All of this gives the Bills flexibility. There's a lot of 1 year contracts on that OL, Spain and Waddle are and then Long, Nseke and Feliciano are essentially 1 year contracts. If the 1 year contract guys look good you can offer extensions to a couple of them, the Bills have the money, but they are protected a bit by developing a guy as well. So if Teller looks really good you can extend one of Long/Spain and cut bait with the other. Same goes for the OT positions.

Hockenson at #9 Change My Mind
Wayne Cubed replied to Mike in Syracuse's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And that’s just currently, what about the year after? The Bills have no pass rushers signed past 2019, they need to start thinking about drafting replacements before they are gone. -
Not to pick nits but Julio Jones was 1st team all pro in 2016 and was on a Super Bowl losing team that lost in OT in the Super Bowl. In fact last year both 1st team All Pro QBs didn't play in the Super Bowl. The winning SB QB hasn't been a 1st team All Pro since 2016. I guess my point is, I'm not really sure that there's a point to be made there with regards to being 1st team All Pro. Plenty of 1st team All Pro WRs have played in the NFC/AFC Championship games, and have lost. Does that mean they aren't needed?

Le’Veon Bell Signinig With the Jets
Wayne Cubed replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They needed to replace the guard position anyways. They still have holes along that line and protecting Darnold should be priority. It's nice he has weapons but Bell isn't going to fix that OL a whole lot. -
The future finally is now in Buffalo
Wayne Cubed replied to TigerJ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
But did he really get the most out of a bush league squad? He took an offense who finished 10th and 12th in the league and gutted it, which is now 30th in the league in scoring. This was the path McD CHOOSE to take. He hired the dinosaur Dennison to lead the offense. He's gone to Peterman TWICE to be the starting QB. His defenses have been better than Rex's but which players has he got to overachieve on that side of the ball? Lorax? He had one of his best seasons under Rex. Hughes? Again had one of his best seasons under Rex. Kyle? I mean, not much to say there. He's overhauled the secondary so there's not much to compare to. I think the defense plays hard for McD but he's a former DC, so I expect that. It's his forte. I don't think there's anything wrong with questioning if McD can get the offensive side of the team to gel because he has as of yet, done that. -

Yea they really have some work to do on that OL in NY. They don't have a center at this point. -
