  1. I think if the Jets are desperate, like the Raiders were in 2013, this could get done for just a 2nd round pick... and would be a steal! EDIT: Not saying it's the Bills but hey if they get really desperate, it could be.
  2. See that's for a QB and I think when teams know they are moving up for a QB, it's a rule not to ask apparently, then the price is just higher. The Dolphins moved from 12 to 3 in 2013 for Dion Jordon for just their 2nd round pick.
  3. Ian R. just said on NFLN that he's hearing Jets definitely want out of 3 but not out of the top 10... We shall see soon enough what happens.
  4. Oh Jason. If those two GMs aren't from 1. Bills and 2. Jets then this is a joke.
  5. Who's having a hairy spazz? Try making sense next time, thanks.
  6. Um what? Until he's on the roster? You're not making any sense.
  7. Um, what facts did I not lay out and what narrative? Did they or did they not let Star participate at the combine because they thought they found something with his heart? Hint: They didn't. Did they let Sweat participate after they supposedly found something with his heart? Hint: They did. Ok then. Facts.
  8. Right but the point is they thought whatever they found out AT the combine was serious enough not to let him participate. Precautionary. With Sweat, they supposedly found this condition and then let him participate anyways. If it was serious, it's his heart, you don't let someone participate in drills and do things physically if there's a change he collapses at the combine.
  9. I've always thought whatever it is with his heart, if there was or is something, it must not be a massive deal at all, they let Sweat compete at the combine. You don't do that if you suspect somethings wrong. Our own Star Lotulelei was pulled from the combine and not allowed to participate because of an abnormal heart exam. Which turned out to be fine. This stuff happens, they do get it wrong.
  10. Why not some new ones... really sweeten that deal
  11. Throw in a bag o' balls just for good measure
  12. The news came out on draft day, he could of said this weeks ago... Maybe a team had a second opinion done on it. If you were this team and perhaps lower in the 1st, would you release it? It's also been said that a bunch of teams are have been ok with Sweat and not removed him from their boards, this could be the confirmation that he's ok as well.
  13. Apparently according to Ian R., team already have which is why many teams have still be fine on Sweat. He has, been to a couple doctors.
  14. Couple pundits seem to think Taylor is slipping down the board because of a knee problem...
  15. San Fran has moved him all over that line, including both ends. On early downs they had him playing outside and then on obvious passing downs they would bring him inside. When they finally did bring him inside late last season, he seemed to preform better. Problem is they have Buckner at the 3T and I'm sure they don't want to move him. He'd be our 3T replacement here definitely.
  16. Unfortunately, I don't think Hockenson is the next Gronk or anywhere near the route runner Gronk was. I'm not sure he will become that either. He's got soft hands so he does catch everything and he is an excellent blocker but Fant is the more dynamic receiver out of the 2 Iowa TEs, my opinion of course. I still feel very much like this is going to go just like the Oj Howard hype. Loads of pundits had him as a top 10 pick, can't miss, sure thing etc. He ended up going 19.
  17. I guess we will find out but I think he's better than his brother. Although if he does wind up with the Jets, I bet they and Greggo ruin him.
  18. Nick Bosa ends up with the Jets Dolphins trade with the Raiders(they did in 2013) and select Q Williams Allen is off the board Ed Oliver is on the board at 8 and the Falcons leap frog us and take him.
  19. I know people love Hockenson but the Bills only sent one scout to his Iowa game, and he fumbled that game. Fant got a private workout and Sternberger, Knox and Wesco all got 30 visits. Now it's possible Hockenson is that 30th visit, I'm just not sure. Anyways, I think people will be surprised when Hockeson doesn't go top 10, I think he'll go in the teens, like Oj Howard. Howard was also suppose to be a top 10 pick and some had him going as high as 4 to Jacksonville in 2017. And like Hockenson, Oj Howard was said to be the "safe pick" and the best TE prospect in the last 10 years etc. We will know soon enough.
  20. I've gone ABC + ESPN as they are both owned by Disney, evil.
  21. A lot of which way the Bills will go depends on whats happened in front of them and their are a lot of moving pieces there. Obvious I know, right? I think Oliver goes early, same with Q. Williams. If that happens I think if that happens and they are forced to stay at 9 it comes down to Sweat or Burns. Would have said Gary if he wasn't flagged for the shoulder but that problem has proved problematic for quite a few EDGE guys in the past, Lawson and Dion Jordan come to mind. I'll say Burns if they stick at 9. If they are able to trade down from 9, I'll say they go with DK Metcalf. If they are able to trade up, it's for Oliver.
  22. And you are completely missing the point. No one is trying to correlate the round a player is selected and whether they will be successful or not. It's about positional value. I think coaches/GMs understand which positions transition better to the NFL and where that value is. I can show you a player taken from a premier position(QB, OT, EDGE, CB) that WAS a stud right away. Multiple players in fact. So now we only care if our number 9 pick is a bust or not? I mean come on, that's ridiculous.
