  1. Julio without question. The Bills should be giving Josh Allen players that give him the best possible chance to succeed.
  2. Agreed. Before FA and the draft I had the Bills receivers as: WR1 - n/a WR2 - n/a WR3 - Foster WR4 - McKenzie WR5 - Jones I think now it's this: WR1 - n/a WR2 - Brown WR3 - Foster WR4 - Beasly WR5 - McKenzie WR6 - Roberts - I think they have to keep McKenzie because he offers something that those other receivers don't playing from the slot. He's the gadget guy/jet sweep WR. I've said all off season the Bills would need to trade for a WR1 as there just wasn't one in the draft. They could draft a WR2 and trade for a WR1. With regards to DK, they COULD have drafted him but the chances of him putting up WR1 type numbers this season are slim, a rookie hasn't done that since 2016 and this class isn't nearly as good as the past 2. But that's also the problem, they would be putting the pressure on a rookie WR to be the guy. The Bills should have either drafted a WR1 before or with Josh so that they could take their first year lumps together or before Josh got here. They didn't do either of those, so at this point I think they need to trade for a proven WR1.
  3. It was only off the top of my head haha Its funny that I forgot him because I wanted the Bills to draft him ?
  4. I think you are picking nits here. Hopkins was picked 27th in the first round. Are Thielen, Lockett and Smith-Schustsr really WR1s?! I’ll give you Brown and Thomas. Hill was picked where he was because of the trouble he’s in now, not talent. He’s about to be out of the NFL because of it. Let’s see off the top of my head... Jones, Beckham, Evans, Agholor, Cooper, Cooks, Fitzgerald...
  5. Whether or not this rookie class is bad is of course an opinion. It’s about projection and value. When evaluating the talent, it appears that this class lacks elite top end WRs. And that’s exactly what the Bills are missing. They have a bunch of WR2s and WR3s. Why after you have evaluated the talent would you reach and draft someone that you already have on your roster with less talent when there is a starting RT and other players you have a higher grade on? Because it’s something you think they need more and should prioritize? Do you know where the majority of WR1s are drafted? I’ll give you a hint it’s not between picks 25 and 67. No one says just wait til next year, maybe with a QB. You draft what’s in front of you, you can’t fix every problem in one draft.
  6. I actually didn't have too much problem seeing it either, as I was streaming it and it's less compressed than what the cable companies do. I can see why some people probably couldn't see much. Yea I agree there, always have enjoyed the politics and the character development in GoTs moreso. I don't have a problem with the supernatural elements or anything like that, I just always thought you weren't ever going to get a lot of development out of a character who can't speak. It was an important story because it brings characters together but I've never thought it was THE story.
  7. Not really, I share the same opinion. I just don’t think the talent was there in the draft this year. I think they would have come out at best with a WR2. The past 2 draft classes haven’t yielded a 1000 yard receiver in their rookie years, so it’s also unlikely they would have been much help to Josh this year. Ive wanted the Bills to trade for that talent, it was the only way it was going to happen. Tried with AB and my guess was the price was too high for OBJ.
  8. It was only in reference to GoTs. But I’ll take that one board, deleting it.
  9. Perhaps this is where Brienne dies or Podrack, they get into the way of the shot or something. Much like the Starks I think it’s important to the story line for all the Lannister’s to reunite.
  10. See I think Bronn actually dies trying to kill either of them. I don’t see a point in keeping him alive. I kind of think it ends up being Tyrion.
  11. I’m actually kind of happy that the whole WW/NK story is dead, so to speak. Wasn’t a massive fan of the night shots but I understand why they did it. I think it served it’s purpose and I haven’t like how they handled it from the last season anyways. ONTO CERSEI!!!
  12. I’m sorry but if you think this last episode is all of what Game of Thrones has been building towards than you’ve been mistaken. It has always, always been about the Iron Throne. The WW and NK is a story arc within the battle for the Iron Throne. It’s not the main arc for the entire series, but one of many. The story arcs introduced in the first episode are the WW/NK/Beyond the wall, Danny and her plot to retake the Iron throne, the Lannister’s and their claim to the throne and the Starks and the North. Those then splinter off into characters and other stories. Those 4 main storylines have been present since the beginning, none of them as the most important story and all having to do with a claim to Westeros and the Iron throne. This was simply the ending to 1 of those story lines and I’m not even sure it’s the most interesting because the NK has no dialogue the entire series. The other 3 stories have had HUGE amounts of dialogue and character building.
  13. And you would be wrong. It's not superficial if you can literally watch these games and see the free releases. Its what other scouts and pundits saw too. My guess is you haven't watched him. Notice how Alpha didn't say that wasn't the case? Or didn't dispute it?
  14. No no, I was fine until billsfan jumped in like you needed defending or something.
  15. I don't think Alpha needs you to help him out here, thanks for jumping in though. He just told a guy who spends hours watching film and watches a lot of prospects to "go watch more film." And they weren't "superficial" critiques. I've watched him. Gunner has watched him. He got a lot free releases. If you care to challenge that claim, I'd love to have a discussion and you can tell me more how he didn't.
  16. Whoa, relax. I get it, you really like the kid and have said as much. It's also ok to be critical and realistic of his chances of making an NFL team. He has an uphill battle and if you don't think that you are fooling yourself. There's no need to defend every post that points his short comings or things he needs to work on. It's a discussion. No one's rooting for this kid to fail. Deep breath.
  17. And he got a lot of free releases in college. He will not get that nearly as much in the pros.
  18. It's a nice story but he has an uphill battle. He needs to hit the gym because he won't see nearly as many free releases as he did in college and he struggles with press coverage. His route running needs some work too. I'm not sure he'll make the final 53 but he's got a good shot at the PS if he puts the work in. He certainly will be fun to watch though.
  19. That's a bold prediction that. So now there will be a stud and couple pro bowlers out of this WR class? Is that your prediction? Just so you know, which I'm sure you do since you seem to know the position so well, not one rookie WR in the 2018 class went over 1000 yards. Did you know a rookie WR in the 2017 class didn't go over 1000 yards either? The last rookie WR to go over 1000 yards in his rookie year was Micael Thomas and he was way, way better coming out than DK.
  20. I think with the final episodes coming, the cast needs to be thinned a bit and both Podrick and Lyanna, I'm not sure where their stories fit in the final episodes. Podrick without Brienne seems odd and I'm not sure if Lyanna did survive she would leave the North.
  21. Here's my list of who I think goes: Brienne - knighted finally, story is complete when she defends Sansa. Podrick - where Brienne goes so goes Podrick. Grey Worm - the goodbye seemed like a final one. Theon - He dies defending Bran, story complete. Sir Davos - He was bragging about how many battles he's survived, not this one. Lyanna Mormont - seems eager to fight... and die, plus the house Mormont motto is perfect "Here We Stand" Tormund - just feels like his time.
  22. Chad getting another chance is the same reason coaches in this league get multiples ones.
  23. CB1 and CB2 in 2016 were both better. Sorry, Gilmore is better than Tre and Darby is better than who ever is on the roster. Add in Robey-Coleman and that group was just better. McDermott improved that position by choosing not to sign/franchise Gilmore, traded Darby and let Coleman walk.
