Sooooo because the media bought into the hype of the Browns offseason, Mayfield<<Allen. Makes sense. Did I miss Baker Mayfield saying he was going to be a Conference Championship Contender? What does this have to do with watching one game of a player and making any sort of judgment. Bills fans get all upset when national pundits only watch highlights of Allen or one game but then it's ok for us as fans to do that to other players. Again, makes sense.

The hit rate on 1st round talent is still only 50% AND they'll be drafting for need and not BPA with some of those players. I think this will push players down the board. Should be interesting to see how this all turns out. Suck for Luck ended up destroying a generational talent physically/mentally by not having talent in other areas of the team. Time will tell.

That wasn't the point of my comment. I was making a comparison. The OP watched ONE Baker Mayfield game and is judging him against Allen, after one game. I've watched more than one game of Mayfields, so I know where he's at and last season, he did things I haven't seen Allen do up to this point. Mayfield also didn't look nearly as bad in Game 1 as his stat line would indicate, if you did actually watch the game. I'm not saying Allen hasn't looked better this season and seems to be improving, he is. I'm saying if a Cleveland fan or general NFL fan picked one of Allens games to watch, a bad one, and then formed an opinion of that, every Buffalo fan would be telling them they need to watch more of him and not just the highlights.

So one game and you've made ya mind up? What would you say if a Cleveland fan had only watched Josh Allen's game against Green Bay last year or only saw quarters 2 and 3 of the Jest game?

I believe the league picks the charity not the player but yea if it’s a crap charity...

They are especially stupid because if the player elects to donate the fine the league cuts the amount in half. So essentially Anderson would be out of pocket $5,263, if he donates. Love that the money goes to a charity but cutting the amount in half isn’t going to hurt a player.

In Dabolls presser yesterday at about the 8 min mark he talked about this. They were doing red zone one-on-ones, with John Brown vs Tre White, running the same route, opposite side of the field. White was taking away the deep stuff so Josh and Brown practiced the back shoulder or under throw or whatever you wanna call it.

I think I'd rate his game C+/B- His first drive was very, very good. After the turnover he looked a bit rattled and started playing more sandlot ball. When that happens he gets sloppy with his decision making and rushes throws thinking he needs to win the game right then and there. The last 3 drives of the game though, also very good. To my eyes, he really only had 2 "ugly" throws and those were the 2 that almost were intercepted. He had a couple throws that the placement wasn't great as well but weren't ugly.
