  1. I'm sorry, the 1 against the ravens was in the 3rd quarter. But tonights was definitely garbage time.... Gee you'd think all these sacks would get him on the field more.
  2. No. I was being sarcastic.
  3. There's another 2009 first rounder I'm thinking of.... making quite the statement for another AFCE team.... maybe we can trade for him
  4. maybe McDaniels had something to do with the decision?
  5. Seeing as after the 80 yard run he was averaging 2.7 YPC, 3 carries would net 8.1 yards, I would say there is definitely a chance he doesn't get the first. Not to mention our best interior lineman, Levitre, was at LT. Look, I feel like this has been argued to death, in the shout box, in threads. I just don't get were getting 7 points on the road, by throwing to a wide open receiver(by NFL standards), is such a terrible decision. The play was open. The Giants knew we were just gonna sit back and run, or at least thats what they thought. No overhead safety help meant SJ13 just had to beat his man, which he did. Great play call. Running into 8 men in the box, is not. And is playing to lose.
  6. It just hasn't been the same since Bruce started shaving his head...
  7. It was on the Bills official twitter as well. Personally, I think Shep is great. I love this move. Andre Davis showed his age, slow, against the Giants.
  8. Actually, we went for the jugular against NE. Same pass play was called. Go route to Donald Jones. Reason why no one's complaining about that play... Cause it was completed. I completely disagree that the INT was not a surprise. SJ13 was wide open... WIDE OPEN(in terms of the NFL)... I don't get whats so hard to understand about that. A QB has to be able to make that throw. Maybe Fitz got excited? I even yelled that he was open when he snapped the ball and you could see SJ13 beat his guy off the line of scrimmage. Gotta make the throw. Point of the matter. if he completes that throw, we aren't talking about this. Hindsight is a great thing. Gee even Fitzy said that in his post game and he though it was the right play call.
  9. Thats the point I was basically making. Any number of events could have unfolded the way they did. Hindsight is a great thing. My point is people are arguing that running would have been the absolute correct move. But it might not have worked out. Hell Fred could have fumbled the ball. We don't know. But looking at what the Giants had done up to that point in the game, specifically the second half against the run, throwing a 20 yard pass was not a terrible call as some would have you believe. Fitz made that same exact throw twice in a game, against NE. So why wouldn't Chan think he couldn't make it again. Personally, I don't think you slow down or take your foot of the gas against teams. You gotta drive it home, thats how you finish them off.
  10. I remember those as well. The one to David Nelson that got the PI, I'd say those are the type of throws, 40+ yards int the air, Fitz has trouble with. The 20 yard over the top of the defender type throws. He has got to be able to make those. Which he has before.
  11. FWIW. Fiz hit that route twice in the NE game. Both went for pretty big gains. One to Stevie. One to Donald. Chan knows he can do. I've seen him do it. It was just a terrible terrible 2 throws from Fitz.
  12. I couldn't disagree more, I'm sorry. It's a 20 yard pass.... A high school QB could make that pass. It's funny you point to that pass in the Oakland game but completely forget the 2 passes Fitz made in the NE game that were identical. The one to Stevie in the beginning of the game and the one at the end of the game to Donald. He completed both of those and they went for big yardage. Same over the top throw. He was fine throwing them then. But today it's a bad call and Chans fault. I'm not buying it. Sorry. If we don't have a QB that can make those types of throws then we don't have a NFL QB. The Bills NEED to show they can throw balls farther than 10 yards and more than just slants. Otherwise why don't we just pick up Trent again. It's called stretching the field. And I have seen Fitz make those throws. It's happened this season. Chan has seen it too. Hence the play call.
  13. Again, take the 80 yard run away and Freddie ran 15 times for 41 yards. That's 2.7 YPC. I wouldn't exactly call that effective.
  14. Agreed, why do people keep referring to this play as a deep ball? It was a 15-20 yard pass that he put way too much air under. This wasn't some 40-50 yard pass in the air. It was a throw he should have made to a WIDE OPEN SJ13. And as far as the running thing, I stated this in other threads but apparently no one was paying attention to the fact that after Freddies 80 yard run, Freddie was averaging about 2.7 YPC. The Bills ran pretty terrible after that. We could have run the ball 3 times and gotten no where, left them with 2+ mins left on the clock and the Bills attempting a 40+ yard field goal. And you think the defense would have stopped them from coming back and at least getting a field goal to tie? The play was the right one. It was there. But Fitzys execution was terrible.
  15. The touchdown to Roosevelt. I mean it looked as though the play clock had run down... Some went our way, some went theirs. I don't think the refs decided this game
  16. Running plays huh? Take away that 80 yarder and Freddie has a whopping 2.7 YPC. So what, we run it up the gut 3 times, settle for a field goal and expect our D to hold a 3 point game? There is no guarantee we score 7 by running the ball. The play was open.
  17. +1!!!!! 7 > 3. I don't understand why people wanna settle for 3. If you take the 80 yard run away. Freddie had 15 carries for 41 yards. That's 2.7 YPC!!!
  18. This hindsight is a real great thing. The fact of the matter is SJ was open, wide open in terms of the NFL. The play worked. Fitz threw a terrible ball.
  19. I don't understand what's up with people and settling for a field goal. You can't sit there and talk about time management. There is no way we run the clock out, get 3 points, and give no time to the giants. They were gonna get the ball back either way. I'd rather have 7 than 3. Force them to go the whole way. It was a good play call, Stevie was as wide open as you can get in the NFL. Fitz just threw a terrible ball(2x). Fitz lost us that game.
  20. The under thrown balls were the worst... Florence was terrible as well.
  21. Eh, I like Burfict's intensity though. The first one was obvious, second one was because he is Burfict. Reminds me a lot of Ray Lewis(who killed a guy). Burfict is gonna be one hell of a MLB, IMO.
  22. ahhh miss buffalo, this has just inspired me to go get pumpkins and carve them.
  23. He's looking pretty good against the Ducks, so far.
  24. If he donates to charity, he only has to pay half the fine. Which I'm sure he would do.
