  1. He is an ass clown because he is trying to have fun at a game that you watch for entertainment? Its not life and death over here. Its football.
  2. Thanks, I understand that they are grandfathered in. My point is they are, in essence, props for props sake, are they not. Writing "happy new years" on a shirt does no harm to anyone... yet jumping on some fans very well could. What happens when one fan takes it to far when a player jumps in the stands. The problem is inconsistency IMO.
  3. Well then I blame SJ and myself for not getting that memo. But honestly what consituits a prop. Why isn't a football considered one, when they dunk on the goal post. I didn't start the argument about the celebration, it was about the "me-first" attitude that one poster said doesn't happen on other teams. Which IMO unless the team is doing a line dance together, every celebration is a me-first one.
  4. But he wasn't penalized last year. And what exactly is a prop. A football. A goalpost. Jumping into fans.
  5. I meant doesn't make them any different in the idea of this "me-first" attitude. Which is what the poster was stating. Of course they are different because he got penalized. The the thing is he didn't get penalized last year when he did that. And as far as I'm aware, they didn't change the rules saying he coudln't do that. The problem is the inconsistency of the calls. When does celebrating become to much. Only after TDs. What about after a big play or are those excluded.
  6. Well there in lies the problem. The inconsisstency of when and where they are called.
  7. I'll take a stab at this... NO, Drew Bree's has been known to celebrate quite a bit, Him and Jimmy Graham dunk on the goal post. They don't hold hands and do it together. Very much a Me-First celebrations. Aaron Rodgers does the belt celebration, Clay Matthews does the Predator celebration. Those are both "me first" celebrations. Hell there is an entire commercial for the Predator celebration. Is it after a TD? no, but Matthews runs to the middle of the field, by himself, which makes it a very much about me celebration. Coaches all allow these. Just because they don't get penalized doesn't make them any different than what SJ did or has done. SJ never got penalized last year for writing on his shirt, he got fined. So that was the Refs call to throw the penalty, because as far as the rules go I don't think they changed. I think the poster was making the point that celebrations happen and to think they are going to go away is foolish.
  8. Cincinnati is where they are cause they have a top defense, a top 5 defense in fact. So please spare me with the comparisons to Cinci. Johnson has talent, he has top 15 WR talent in the league. Those just don't grow on trees, or come of the streets as you put it. Reed, Moulds, Evans.. never had back to back 1000 yard receiving. EVER. And the guy is only 25! I agree with you about Evans, because he was never worth the #1 money we were paying him and hasn't done what Johnson has. We are getting top WR play from a 7th round pick, how often does this happen. And again we don't have the luxury of drafting a WR #1 overall(cinci)... We need to much help at OLB.
  9. Are you seriously comparing what Ruvell Martin did and saying he can replace Johsnons productivity? You can't be serious, you see him(Ruvell) as a 1000 yard 9 TD a year receiver?
  10. I disagree. He isn't a locker room cancer, as far as we know. It wasn't a smart decision, granted. But he didn't get penalized last time he lifted his shirt up at Cinci, so I can imagine that was his thinking, that he wouldn't be penalized again.
  11. I have a honest question for the fans who want to let him walk now. Who do you replace his productivity with? Because Buddy has stated they won't be big in FA with the building through the draft philosohy(which I agree with). And there is no way the Bills go WR with their #1 pick or their #2 one either. Not with the glaring needs at OLB/DE. So how to you replace a WR who averaged 1000 yards and 8.5 TDs in 2 years?
  12. CONGRATS on being the first Bills receiver to have back to back 1000 yard seasons. I still want to see you in a Bills uni next season.
  13. I love how everyone is mad at SJ, but Fitz plays like absolute crap and that isn't even part of the big discussion.
  14. Again no one is comparing Stevie to the entire SB teams. It was said that Marv would never allow that... Making it seem like Marv was a saint of coaches... Which he certainly was not.
  15. Your right, there is no comparison. Reed NEVER had back to back 1,000 yard seasons
  16. You mean Marv, who let his players go out and drink and get drunk the night before Super Bowls?
  17. Steve was wide open, again.
  18. A Bills money-clip/card holder
  19. NOT THIS TIME TEBOW!!!
  20. That can't be the case because CJ ran it in, on an inside run, from 5 yards out...
  21. No idea... Honestly it's beyond my understanding.
  22. Love that Choice call!!
  23. Again, why are we relaying on Fitz to score when cj is tearing it up... Frustrating!
  24. Maybe... But he was in on 1st and goal...
