  1. Press conference coming from Buddy Nix at 4:30
  2. Just tweeted by official Bills account... Buffalo Bills @buffalobills The Buffalo #Bills today announced the release of P Brian Moorman and the signing of P Sean Powell
  3. Exactly. Why blitz if you don't need to. Some fans need to realize, no defense will ever get a sack every time a QB drops back. But man some people just expect it every time.
  4. I'm no doctor, but MRI makes me think no broken bone. That would have been easily picked up on an X-Ray. The MRI has to be for the ligaments.
  5. He's out for the game... no idea what the injury is
  6. I have rewind and All-22 as well... I would think a lot of the "load" could be because they did just offer a free preview for the week. Probably incured more traffic than they normally have. Although I thought week 1 of it was even worse, week 2 improved the overall performance I thought. I guess we'll have to see how this week goes.
  7. Except for the 2 games last year that he brought the Bills back from and won. One of them being the Patriots....
  8. Obviously I can't know exactly, the play could have been specifically designed so that it looked like Fitz was going through his reads, even though Stevie was his first option. Who knows? My response had more to do with the fact of Fitz doing a great job of looking off the MLB Johnson. Which is what helped get Stevie so open.
  9. And if you watch the play Stevie was about his 3rd read. He was definitely looking him off on purpose.
  10. Haven't had a chance yet to watch the All-22 yet, but my thoughts are: -Considering Fitz is 30 years old and has been passing the way he has for many years, 3 errant throws isn't bad. -I think some fans expect absolutely perfect play from their QB. They also expect the team to score everytime they have the ball. -Fitz had a couple really nice throws
  11. I'll take that first half. Defense was solid. Spiller looks great.
  12. that can't be possible, everyone around here has said Shepp is a terrible MLB
  13. Glenn was such a steal in the 2nd round. CJ is absolutely killing it.
  14. Defense looking much better...
  15. I wouldn't say it was every play. But it definitely was happening at varying degrees. Sometimes it was a quick jab to the face, other times it was a bit longer. My pleasure, it takes a bit of time to screen shot it and transfer to a computer from my iPad. I'd like to do a bunch more and will keep taking requests from posters who want to see more.
  16. He's some good shots of the first interceptions: Stevie was wide open, look at the soft coverage by Revis Here's a look at the pocket and what Fitz is seeing Overall, the protection was there. As said earlier and what you can't see here is Fitz pats the ball, instead of getting rid of it the instant Johnson is cutting out in his route. It's a really really late throw, Stevie is nearly out of bounds when the ball gets there.
  17. I'd say Barnett, as you might possibly be able to see in the pictures above, was guilty on this early. But did improve as the game went on. When Scott was on the field I wasn't impressed with his coverage as well. I agree with this, it's hard to know assignments when I'm watching. Hell I have to watch a play at least 5 times to focus on different areas and see what players are doing. In the end I can only guess as to what went wrong. I do think seeing the whole picture helps understand some things much better.
  18. I've watched tha game, about 4 times now, a couple on all access 22 and that simply is not true. Shep was on the field for maybe 2 pass plays. Scott took his place in nearly all passing plays and situations. Barnett was having a bit of trouble from the TEs in the beginning of the game but recovered and played better as the game went on.
  19. As far as the coverage was concerned, here are some pics that sum it up: The first picture is just after the snap, as you can see.. the corners are giving quite the cushion.. This is just as Sanchez is winding up to throw. Now granted, it was a 3 step drop, but 2 WR's are now open or will be open. Prime pickings for any QB. I could take multiple snap shots and you'd see just about the same from a lot of plays.
  20. I have played around with that feature, it's really nice. Only thing that bothers me, on the iPad, is you can't rewind back to previous plays.
  21. Had a couple looks at the first pick. Stevie was open, on a soft coverage by Revis. The protection in the pocket looks good. The problem I see, is Fitz pats the ball, he hesitates. Instead of hitting Stevie when he's open he pats the ball and that hesitation allows Revis to recover.
  22. So on the first pass play by the Jets, Gilmore got pushed off the line. I'm not sure if he was surprised or what but he got pushed pretty far back and stumbled. Hence his guy was wide open. Gilmore did recover and make the tackle. That was a bit worrying to see though, considering how physical Gilmore is suppose to be.
  23. I'll tell ya what, I've just finished the first series and Nick Barnett did not look good in pass coverage on a couple plays. Late picking up the TE.
  24. It's part of NFL rewind. It's not the exact coaches film, but it gives you 2 views of the field, both pulled far back so you can see all 22 players. Helps you see plays develop, or see things the TV cameras didn't.
  25. I'm about to take a look at the all access 22 film for Sundays game vs the Jets. My plan was to come back after and break down the series and posts pictures as well. I presented this to the shout box and a couple posters were interested in some specific areas of the game. Anyone else want to hear about anything specific? So far I've been asked about the LB play on passing downs, let me know here and I can take a look.
