  1. I just can't imagine the Bills would bring Fitz, Tjax and Smith into camp. I'm sure Smith would command quite a large salary. Thats a whole lot of money tied up in QB's...
  2. Jason LaConfora tweeted that SF has said its not Arizona, they're offer was too low. He seems pretty sure its KC.
  3. To be honest, when I was living in LA 2 years ago, I saw a lot of Barkley and was able to attend a few of his USC games. Including the USC/Stanford shoot out. I really liked what I saw. He aired the ball out a lot, had good instinct and I think if he would have come out last year might have been right behind RG3 or close to him in terms of draft position. The guy is a 4 years starter. But, I have no idea how he would do with the weather in Buffalo. Barkley was born and raised in California. I think he'll need to go to a warm weather or dome team to have success in the NFL.
  4. Maybe he isn't. That 90th player isn't also coming off an ACL injury.
  5. From a roster spot standpoint, let's assume Marrone thinks he won't fit or isn't healthy, well then that's a wasted roster spot. That's a spot that could be given to a rookie or FA to build with. If they bring in Nelson and he doesn't work out, they wasted the roster spot and time available to build with another player. Whethers thats what he's actually thinking, who knows.
  6. Simple answer: Cause he can be. /Thread
  7. I don't think you are understanding the other side of the argument. Keeping Fitz for this year, seriously effects cap space next year AND this year. Which would limit where the Bills can spend money(on the QB position and other areas). Why keep someone for a 17 million cap hit over 2 years if at this point there "is no better option"? Maybe there are equal options, that wouldn't effect cap space down the line? TJax is certainly could be equal to Fitz. Hell even a rookie could be equal to Fitz. Equal being 6 win seasons....
  8. A slight turn in events, the Detective in charge of the case, Hilton Botha, is himself on trial for attempted murder of 7 people. Also he took the stand for the bail hearing and this came forward: Detective Warrant Officer Hilton Botha, the first officer to arrive at the house, also admits he had compromised the crime scene with ‘unprotected shoes’ Prosecution admitting they originally missed a bullet cartridge in the toilet basin Det Botha calling the substance found in Pistorius' bedroom 'steroids' only to be corrected by the prosecution that it was a box of 'testosterone' Det Botha at first saying he had a statement from someone 600m away, then changing that to 300m, and later saying he was not sure Det Botha agreeing defence lawyer that police had no evidence challenging the runner's claim he accidentally killed his girlfriend in a bathroom, believing it was an intruder Very Weird.
  9. You are reading into this WAY too much and over analzying what he said. Where does he ever say they don't know what they are looking for and are clueless? And where does he say that with the overall pick, they are going to select a QB with which this "value" your talking about? Maybe he's talking about later in the draft. The point is, we don't know. News flash, the draft is a crap shoot, you have to basically risk assess players based on what your teams core values are. You get pieces that fit what you believe to build a prennial winner. Thats why it's his opinion and what he see's as value.
  10. According to Mike Florio and PFT, this statement came from a "former" member of the Competition Committee. The current memers of the committee have not place the proposal on their agenda for 2013 according to Greg Aiello. And that it won't be happening anytime soon. So... there's that.
  11. Kiper/McShay's mock draft 2.0 is out and here is the top 15(yes it's still too early): McShay 1. Chiefs - Star Lotulelei 2. Jaguars - Bjoern Werner 3. Raiders - Dee Milliner 4. Eagles - Luke Joeckel 5. Lions - Dion Jordan 6. Cardinals - Eric Fisher 7. Browns - Barkevious Mingo 8. Bills - Geno Smith 9. Jets - Jarvis Jones 10. Titans - Chance Warmack 11. Chargers - Lane Johnson 12. Dolphins - Kenny Vaccaro 13. Bucs - Damontre Moore 14. Panthers - Sharrif Floyd 15. Saints - Ezekiel Ansah Kiper 1. Chiefs -Luke Joeckel 2. Jaguars - Damontre Moore 3. 12. Was that the film day they were watching other people's practices and signals?
  13. Nice coverage from lil Donte there.
  14. Yea, that's right!! Oh wait, I forgot about the drops Wes Welker had just a couple of weeks ago, that could have won the Pats* the AFC championship.
  15. This is laughable. So guess Marcia should have stopped throwing Welker the ball after his drops in the AFC championship game last year? Oh wait, that's right he still threw to him 174 times this season even after Welker lead the league in drops(which I realise is an unofficial stat, but the point remains). Quick get the pitch forks and ill get the fire started!
  16. But still, point remains. The product on the field was the arguably the best in the NFL and yet the fans didn't come out in December.
  17. This argument always makes me laugh. Even when the Bills were competitive and I'm talking Super Bowl years, they still had trouble selling out games in December.
  18. He can't, that's the paradox.
  19. Technically it's not an equation, it's an attempt at a paradox. But as other's have stated, is easily solveable in the fact that the 3 guys only paid $25 for the room not $27. They were given back $3 each, making $28 and the bell boy kept the $2 tip. That accounts for all money. It's a trick in the wording. A better paradox would be the one by Betrand Russell: There is a town with just one barber, who is male. In this town every man keeps himself clean shaven. The barber is the man who shaves those in town and only those men in the town who do not shave themselves. Who shaves the barber? Russell, was brilliant, but absolutely mental at the same time.
  20. Yea, cause he has terrible hands... and doesn't dive or leap for any balls, ever.
  21. I see what your getting at. He slid and raised his leg, almost like it's Reed's fault for running into the position Brady's leg was in. I don't really care if it was a kick or a sweep or whatever. Brady's intent was to put is foot into Reed's body. That's bush league, that's unsportsmanlike.
  22. Triche played out of his mind tonight. Should have kept feeding him the rock...
  23. Someone quick, break out his Wins/Loss record as a OL coach. This will obviously determine his worth as a position coach.
  24. Who's picking a fight? I disagreed with your astute assessment of Te'o and his intelligence. If you don't understand situations like what happened to him, it's definitely weird. But that doesn't make him retarded or stupid.
