  1. Well to that point, those posters are wrong. The guy is talented, very talented. Its the character issues teams will be worried about. If he gets arrested or whatever that type of trade would blow up in a GM's face.
  2. I don't think anyone is questioning Winston's ability as a QB. He's very talented. But Joe is talking about trading a known NFL talent in Dareus along with a 1st and a 2nd for an unknown NFL talent in Winston, with some serious character issues.
  3. Why not post those nice "keyhole" pictures haha.
  4. Yes let's trade away our young prospering DT. Kyle Williams will be 32 next season. The Bills could be going from 2 Pro Bowl DT to zero. Brilliant idea Joe, have you thought of submitting your resume to OBD? This statement is for clicks. He does it all the time, calls them #HotTakes. The more ridiculous the more clicks he gets. Guys a communications major not a numbers guy.
  5. Yup. The first step looks accidental, the second one not at all accidental. And he puts all his weight onto that foot and rocks on it. I don't believe it's a "Suh punishment" either his teammate was just suspended for purposely stepping on another player. If it's malicious the league is going to punish.
  6. Exactly. When I first saw the replay I saw the first step backwards and thought "that looks accidental" but then he takes another step backward and kind of teaters on Rogers leg. That's not accidental no matter which way you slice it. After the first step he new he wa in someone and then to take another that was malicious. There was no reason to. And it's not like he attempts to get off Rogers leg quickly. But yea that league as some "agenda" to let the Cowboys win.
  7. Idk, if Orton was still on the Bills it would have been definitely a no. Sanchez is no better than Orton. With Orton now gone, not sure how terrible on an idea it is? I don't like him and think he's not a great QB but what other choice do the Bills have if Bradford or Cutler aren't on the trading block?
  8. That's a very telling statement "...based on the film" and the fact that he starts the statement with would have.
  9. This. Has any of the major coaches gone back?
  10. Don't think he's ever broke a story. Ever.
  11. The Bills have other players to sign... You can only backload so many contracts. They still have cap ramifications.
  12. Have you looked at his cap numbers? That's why he got traded. Back loaded contract. And he signed a 6 year deal and made it through 3 til he got ditched. You can call it the Patriot way but maybe they didn't want so much money tied up at the guard positon.
  13. I'm sorry maybe you could point to me where paying premier dollar for a guard has helped a team? Let's go through the last couple years of guards who signed for big contracts shall we? 2014: Wasn't really any "big" FA guards 2013: Andy Levitre(6 years $46.8MM). That really worked out well for the Titans huh? 2012: Carl Nicks(5 years $47.5MM). That worked so well for the Bucs he's not even on the team anymore. 2011: Logan Mankins(6 year $51MM). Well he made it a year further than Nicks, so that's a plus but was eventually traded to the Bucs. 2010: Jahri Evans. This might be the only acceptable case but he resigned with the Saints. Unfortunately they weren't able to keep both Evans and Nicks together so they signed Grubbs in 2012, a lower level guard.
  14. You mean like Levitre? But yes by all means over pay for the guard position, that seems to work in the NFL.
  15. No thanks. He'll want a boat load of money and with all the players the Bills need to resign I'd rather they spent the money there. Guards, good ones, can be found all over the draft.
  16. Brandon Browner, Hightower also inactive.
  17. He was also wide open on the TD catch...
  18. Yup. If anything I could see a guy like Hundley, who's a lot like Manuel in that he has great tools but needs work, moving into the first.
  19. I don't think the decision to start Orton this week is that odd. Throwing EJ to the wolves isn't exactly a smart move and there isn't much to be gained, IMO. Maybe the whole "gives us the best chance to win" is wrong but I understand why he's not playing EJ.
  20. But the question then becomes how do you know for certain in one of these other good receivers has the same season they had this year on the Bills roster? You don't know. Let's say they stayed at 9 or the trade up failed and ODB Jr. is the pick, he was injured for the first couple games which would have surely annoyed some fans. Then look at Sammy targets per game and look at ODB's. He wouldn't have seen the ball nearly as much as he is in NY/NJ. And you'd have the fans who would have said "could have traded up to get and the Bills failed again..."
  21. I'm sure they plan there first couple series and would bet money that Marrone determines those play calls. Also the overall philosphy of the offense is Marrones. And Marrone has admitted that he will sometimes during the game say what he wants called.
